Chapter 27
A few days later Hermione was back to normal. The night she had found out about Ron, she cried. She let out the emotions that she had been holding in. The next morning she felt a little better. Severus had not mentioned it. It was now the day before the battle. She sat near the lake staring at the water as the wind whipped across the water.
‘Tomorrow this war ends. And then I can finally move on and live my life. But what about Severus. I know he will remain here. At least until the end of the term. But what about us?’ she thought.
“You all right?” Severus asked as he sat beside her.
“Severus, you do know that once this war is over I will be leaving right?” Hermione asked.
“I do. But you also know I can’t just up and leave that easily.” he answered.
“So where does that leave us?” she asked.

“Then I guess, you will go ahead and get things organized and I will be joining you once the term ends. Where ever you go, I will be there.” he replied.
Hermione moved into his arms. The night before she had cast the spell that would locate all of Voldemort’s followers. They were all now being held in the dungeons. They had also found out that the students who were followers were to remain at the castle and help the Death Eaters enter through Slytherin house.
