Chapter 25
Author’s Note: Hermione is going to be a bit dark. This doesn’t follow with OTP or HBP. Sirius Black is alive and in my story Severus is a pure blood. Just so you know.

Summery: It’s been six years since Hermione left Hogwarts. She’s been doing a secret mission for the Order. Suddenly she and Severus are thrown together. Will they be able to work together or will they end up killing each other? R/R
Our Paths Cross Again
Chapter 25
Kingsley was sitting in his sitting room reading a book when an owl flew in. His eyes got as wide as saucers as he read the letter. He jumped to his feet and apparated away. Within seconds he was standing in a brothel in Knockturn Alley. The owner quickly signaled him over.
“He’s over there Kingsley. Look, the last of the potion is wearing off.” the owner whispered.
Kingsley looked over to where she was pointing. There stood, what looked to be Ron Weasley. Except it wasn’t. Where Ron had been standing, now stood a man about six foot two, slim build with brown hair. Kingsley wasted no time.
“STUPEFY!” Kingsley yelled.
The man fell to the ground, while the girl he was with let out a scream. Kingsley rushed to the fallen man, pulled up the sleeve covering his left arm and found what he was looking for. The Dark Mark. He returned to the owner.
Back at Hogwarts Hermione and Severus were in his potions lab brewing some more healing potions for Poppy. The last Quidditch game had been brutal and had lowered her potions.
“How are you feeling?” Severus asked as he bottled a potion.
“I’m still pissed about what Ron said, but I feel calmer.” Hermione answered.
“I told you that jog around the lake would help you relax.” he said.
The two finished the potions, bottled them and began carrying them up to Poppy. They put the potions in Poppy’s stores while Poppy went to help a student who had just entered the wing. After bidding Poppy good day the two headed back to the dungeons. Suddenly they heard Minerva calling for them.
“Severus! Hermione!” Minerva yelled.
“Minerva? What’s wrong?” Severus asked.
“You two come with me. Immediately.” Minerva answered.
The three rushed toward Albus’s office. When they walked in they found Harry, Remus, Sirius, Kingsley, Tonks and a man they didn’t recognize. Hermione and Severus were confused as to what was going on.
“Hermione, Severus, it seems that this man has been using the Poly Juice potion and for the past five years has been posing as Ronald Weasley. He is a spy for Voldemort.” Albus explained.
