Oh my God...its our baby..is it a boy or is it a girl?
The way she feels
Note: I have decided that there will be 28 chapters, 29 if you count the epilouge. :D And its the chapter we all been waiting for, is it a boy or is it a girl? Whats its name? Has Hermione and George made up? Have I found the goat from my back yard? who knows. Enjoy (note this is going to be a short chapter. And the next chapter is longer.)
Chapter twenty: Oh my God...its our baby..is it a boy or is it a girl?
"You going to be there at the appointment today?" Hermione asked as she fitted on her new small maternity top that showed her pregnant belly beautifully. She and George had just made up the night before after Hermione not speaking to him for almost a month.
"Of course I will. I mean we will finally know what we're having." George exclaimed after spitting tooth paste into the sink. Hermione looked over her shoulder and laughed as she ran a brush through her now straight hair that took her thirty minutes to do.
"How much money are you betting with Fred?" Hermione said and George acted appaled as he kissed the side of her face, wrapping his arms around her after moving to stand behind her.
"Only two hundred bucks." George said and Hermione moved to turn and look at him.
"It has gotten to that much?" She asked shocked, and George nodded. "Whose betting its a boy?"
"Fred ofcourse." George laughed as he kissed Hermione on the side of her head. "Lets get going. Ill drive you."
"You better not be late this time."
"Me? Late? Never!"
"Well Hello again. Its the big day isnt it?" Dr. Clearwater smiled as she came into the room, looking at Hermione and George.
"Yup, finally going to be able to know what the nursery will look like." George smiled as he kissed Hermione quickly.
"Well lets get it started." Dr. Clearwater got on her gloves, and smeared some cool gel on Hermione after she instructed for her to lay back and pull of up her top. "You are growing very nicely. Have you been putting lotion on to prevent stretch marks?"
"Everyday, twice a day." Hermione nodded as Dr. Clearwater turned on the machine and turned on the monitor.
"Well it seems like the little one is growing quite nicely." Dr. Clearwater smiled, and Hermione bit at her bottom lip. "What colors have you decided for the nursery if its a boy or girl?"
"Well I wanted a nice pale purple for a girl, and a nice powder green for a boy." Hermione said as George squeezed her hand, the suspence killing them. Dr. Clearwater smiled as she continued to move the ultrasound device over Hermione's stomach.
"Wonderful colors. I think powder green will look wonderful for your little boy."
"Boy?" Hermione whispered as she looked at the screen closely. George's eyes widen as the doctor pointed out their little boys gentials. Tears instantly sprang from Hermione's eyes as she looked at George. "We...We're having a boy..."
"I know...Im down two hundred bucks." George muttered before kissing Hermione. "But..Im going to have a little boy...Im...Im..Im going to have a little boy...We're having a little boy...omg..."
"Well I will get you a picture of your newly discovered son." Dr. Clearwater smiled, as she cleaned off Hermione's stomach and turned off the machine. "Have you been taking your prenatals?"
"Everyday." Hermione nodded.
"Eating right?"
"Trying to resist the cravings for the sweets, but yes."
"Hey its okay to give into those cravings, as long as you still eat healthy for both you and the baby." Dr. Clearwater smiled. "Well congradulations. I expect to see you again in a month."
"Okay."
"Congradulations again. Ill be back in a few minutes." Dr. Clearwater left the room, and Hermione turned to George only to see tears falling from his own eyes.
"Its a boy..." Hermione said as she cried happily. George only nodded.
"Im..Im..Im going to have a little boy to raise.."George smiled as he turned and kissed Hermione passionately. "Oh my god, I love you so much..."
"I love you too..." Hermione smiled as she kissed him back.
