The Quartet Meet Lily And The Marauder's
Chapter twenty Three: Valentines Day.


It was February the thirteenth, the day before Valentines day. The girls were in the dorms looking at their dresses they had bought for the ball in the great hall tomorrow night.

Dumbledore had decided to have a valentines day ball, but that was not what pissed the Slytherin's off. The part that pissed the Slytherin's off, especially the boys, was because Dumbledore said the boys from each of the four houses had to wear black muggle tuxes and black bow ties and white shirts.

And the boys that had long hair had to tie it back with a black ribbon. Sirius and Peter had balked over the idea of tying their hair back with black ribbons of all things. Peter grumbled ribbons were for bloody girls. For once the Gryffindor boys and Slytherin boys were united in the same argument, as it was mainly the Gryffindor and Slytherin boys that had long hair.

The girls by Minerva's request were to wear muggle ball gowns and white elbow length dress gloves. The girls were excited even the Slytherin girls liked the idea of the ball gowns and white dress gloves even if they were what muggle woman normally wore, they were still beautiful. The only problem the girls had was that the ball gowns all came with corsets. They were all complaining about how they were expected to breath.

Lily, Petunia and the girls had gone into muggle London with Nyah and Laney last week end. Nyah and Laney had teamed together and treated the girls. Petunia had been granted permission by her great great grandfather to attend as Peter's date, and to stay at the castle for the night and leave for the ministry after breakfast.

The ball was only for students in years five, six and seven. The only way students in year four could attend, is if they were brought as a date by one of the older students.

James and Lily were going together, naturally they were engaged after all. Remus and Harry were going together as were Ron and Sirius. It made sense seeing as Harry and Ron were engaged to the older Remus and Sirius back in their own time line, and were dating the teen versions in this time line.

Harry, Remus and Sirius and Ron along with Hermione and Ginny would not be the only bisexual or gay and lesbian couples to attend the ball together as each others date. Hermione was taking Ginny. And Peter was taking Petunia, as they had been seeing each other since the lust potion incident. With Dumbledore's permission Peter had been taking Petunia out on dates in Hogsmead since after they returned in January.

Harry and James had been planning something between themselves. They had owled Nyah and James had asked his mother if she could send them some contact lenses, as there was going to be a ball and neither he or Harry wanted to wear their glasses with their tuxes. So Nyah had willingly agreed and had sent them two sets of contacts each that they could use over and over again, all they had to do was use a cleansing charm on them after they had used them each time.

Luckily for Nyah both her son and grandson seemed to share the same eye strength prescription, so it was easier and quicker for her to get them. So if Harry or James ever got their glasses mixed up it wouldn't matter as both boys had the same strength in lenses and were both short sighted in their left eye and long sighted in their right eye.

It was Saturday February 14th valentines day at breakfast both Harry and James had received at least twenty valentines cards each, much to Remus and Lily's disgust. Hermione told them all when she and the others had gone for a walk after breakfast, that back in their time line Harry was so famous that each valentines day Harry would receive at least two large sacks full of valentines cards from hundreds of admires in the wizarding world. And that he got quite a lot of families offering their sons or daughters in marriage.

Harry chuckled and told them "The older Remus used to balk like you would not believe, you would be fucking green! and would be glaring at me in DADA classes." Everyone including the teen Remus burst out laughing at this.

Ron added "Oh Merlin you should have seen some of the looks I would receive from the older Sirius, when each Valentines day I would receive valentines from over half of the male and female population at Hogwarts. I would receive the cold shoulder from my haughty fiancée until the end of lessons then he would turn into a loveable large black dog and try to lick me to death until I would give him any attention." Sirius chuckled at that that definitely sounded like him.

Harry grumbled "Neither me or Ron would have minded considering both the older Remus and Sirius tended to receive a lot of valentines from admiring male and female students who had huge crushes on them. Seeing as you both saw in the memories that you both turn out to be the sexist professor's at Hogwarts. You both had fan clubs of your own.”

Harry scowled “Even the bloody muggle studies professor wanted to date Remus." Ron added scathingly "Even Sinatra the astronomy professor wanted to jump Sirius's bone, bloody tart." Both Remus and Sirius were chuckling at the pissed expression on their boy friends faces.

It was two thirty that afternoon when Petunia arrived at Hogwarts for the night. She had brought her night dress a changing of clothes for tomorrow morning and her gown and gloves and other accessories for the ball. The girls spent the rest of the afternoon just chatting about everything and nothing.

Lily admired Alice's engagement ring, it had a trio of diamonds set upon a band of pure gold. Alice was in complete awe of Lily's engagement ring, she could hardly believe it had a sapphire the size of her thumb nail and two pink diamonds also the size of her thumb nail. And the fact the Gems were set upon a band of the finest platinum and that pink diamonds were extremely rare, had Alice secretly wondering exactly how rich James's family was.

Alice told them Frank had proposed to her in front of their families and friends on New year’s day just as the clock stuck midnight. Lily told Alice how James had got down on one knee on Christmas morning and proposed to her in front of both of their parents and all of their friends

At five thirty each of the girls took a shower and washed their hair before they curled their hair with a curling charm. The curling charm multiplied the ringlets in Lily's and Ginny's already naturally wrinkly hair. The charm gave Hermione, Alice and Petunia' who normally had straight hair, heads full of bouncing ringlets. Each of the girls put half of their hair up and half down, so the access ringlets were framing their faces. Next they did each others make up, that took an hour to do everyone’s.

Each of the five girls fastened a black silk ribbon around their necks. Alice then helped Petunia with her corset and Petunia helped Alice with her own corset. Hermione did Ginny's and Ginny did Hermione's. Petunia tackled Lily's corset, Lily glared at her sister when she pulled on the silk cords of the corset tightly.

Ginny looked down at her breasts and giggled "Damn I've never quite had cleavage like this" Ginny commented surprised. The other girls went into a fit of hysterical giggles, when they finally calmed down Petunia explained "The tighter you tie the corset and the bigger your breasts are to begin with, the more ample quality of cleavage you'll end up with."

Petunia put in the diamond studs Peter had bought her for Christmas. Ginny and Hermione were wearing the small golden hoop earrings Peter had gave them for Christmas and the matching bracelets Ron had gave them for Christmas. As well as the matching lockets Harry gave to them. Lily put in the pearl studs James had gave her for her sixteenth birthday. Alice wore the ruby studs Frank had gave her for her seventeenth birthday.

Finally they all stepped into their gowns. Hermione wore a Perry winkle blue gown made of silk. It dropped off the shoulder, baring her shoulder her neck and the top half of her back. The gown was tight and low cut and gave a clear view of the top of Hermione's breasts. Around the breast area was a single thin layer of jet black lace. She wore a jet black under skirt under the gown. The bottom half of the gown was a floor length skirt that was tight around the waist and flared out at the sides down to the floor where it trailed slightly behind. She wore matching Perry winkle blue high heeled shoes. And the last accessory was the white silk elbow length gloves.

Ginny's gown was identical to Hermione’s, only it was lilac instead of Perry winkle blue. And the tight low cut top of the dress where the lace around the breasts and the under skirt was pure white instead of jet black. Her high heeled shoes matched her dress. She finished the assemble, with the white silk elbow length gloves they had been asked to wear like all the other girls. Ginny looked lovely in lilac because of the pale creamy skin, and her fiery red hair.

Lily's gown was strapless and was a pale mint green. It had a thin single layer of pure white lace that framed the top of the gown near her breasts. It was tight around the waist and flared out at the sides and continued down to the bottom near the floor and trailed slightly behind her. She had an pure white under skirt underneath the gown. Her high heeled shoes were the same shade of mint green that her gown was. She then lastly put on the white silk elbow gloves identical to the ones the other girls were wearing.

Alice wore a spaghetti strapped gown in pale peach. It was tight around the breast and the waist. There was pure white lace framing her breasts. And a white under skirt underneath. It was tight around the waist and flared out at the hips and down to the floor and trail out behind her. Her high heeled shoes were the same colour as her gown. She looked wonderful in pale peach because of her milky cream skin and dark brunette hair. She lastly rolled the white silk gloves up her arms until they reached her elbows.

And lastly Petunia wore an identical strapless gown like Lily's, only hers was deep scarlet with jet black lace. She knew Peter would appreciate her wearing one of his house colours. It was tight around the breasts and was framed with jet black lace, the waist was also tight and flared out until it reached the floor and trail slightly behind her. Her shoes were also scarlet. She finished by putting on the white silk elbow length gloves. Both Lily and Alice wore their engagement rings on the out side of their white dress gloves.

It was ten to seven and the ball started at ten past seven. Mean while back in the boys dorms Sirius and Peter were complaining as they finished tying their hair back with the black silk ribbons they were asked to wear along with all the other males at Hogwarts who had long hair.

And unfortunately for Sirius and Peter they both met the requirements, seeing as Sirius had haired that rested just below his shoulders, and Peter's nearly reached the same length as Sirius. Peter grumbled "What the hell does Dumbledore think we and the rest of the male population at Hogwarts with long hair are, bloody girls?" James and Harry snorted from over near the mirror as they placed the contact lenses in their eyes.

Remus commented as he straightened his bow tie "Well you two and a large quantity of guys at Hogwarts especially seventh year Gryffindor and Slytherin guys insist on having their hair passed their shoulders. What may I ask do you expect Dumbledore to think?"

Remus pulled at his shirt colour and moaned "Geez these ties are far to restricting for my taste. And what's with the muggle theme Dumbledore and professor McGonagall chosen?" Landon and Daniel had taken the boys into muggle London last week end and had them fitted for tuxes.

Harry replied to Remus's question "Well back in mine and Ron's sixth year on Valentines day Dumbledore had us all dressed in muggle evening wear from the 18th century. But that wasn't the worse part. The guys had to take a potion that would show what they would have looked like if they had been born female. And the girls had to take the same potion so they would appear to look like what they would have been if they had been born male.”

He continued “So the guys had to wear what the girls would have worn. Such as tight corsets and long flowing gowns of silk, and velvet covered in lace and ribbons. Their hair was placed in ringlets and ribbons on top of their heads.”

He added at their looks of disbelief “The guys A.K.A the girls had to wear long coats with tails of all colours and I mean all colours. They had to wear waist coats the old fashioned bow ties, tight britches and knee height black boots. And those awful silk shirts with the ruffles, and some even had lace for crying out loud.”

Harry grimaced and said “ Ron and I had to wear what the other guys were wearing during the gender switch at the ball. Anyway the girls A.K.A the boys had to make their long hair curly, then they had to tie it back with the ribbons Sirius and Peter are complaining about. And the ones they used weren't just black, some of them actually had red ones, blue one or even green and yellow ones. So there you go, Albus Dumbledore is not going to change in the near future. He is still a sadist old buzzard"

Sirius asked looking worried "Weren't mine and Remus older selves teaching by then?" Ron sniggered and nodded "Yeah, not only were the students dressed like that so were the professors as well."

Harry added grinning evilly "So naturally you both and even Snape and Dumbledore and McGonagall were dressed the same and took part in the gender switch."

Both Remus and Sirius looked extremely ill. Remus choked out "I think I'm gonna go and sit down right here" Remus sat on James's bed.

Sirius added "Yeah me to, good idea Moony" Sirius sat down heavily on his own bed. The others except Harry and Ron doubled over in laughter at the horrified expressions on both boys faces.

James and Peter were still laughing when reached the common room, and Remus and Sirius both looked like they would sooner die then ever be subjected to that in the future. And Harry and Ron dreaded having to remember repeating that in the new future.

The laughter instantly ceased when the girls made their way down the stairs. Alice made her way over to a stunned Frank Longbottom. James's eyes practically bugged out of his head when he saw Lily. James found himself getting hard and had to think about Dumbledore getting some in the bed room. That did the trick much to James's relieve.

James was shocked he couldn't believe how beautiful Lily looked. He was stunned speechless, there was no words that could explain what he was feeling at that moment or how Lily looked that were appropriate. James swore he just fell even more deeply in love with her then ever.

Harry and Ron couldn't believe what they were seeing, the female members of the quartet looked stunning. Ron was overwhelmed he couldn't believe that those two young woman were one of his best friends and his baby sister. They were hardly recognisable, they looked incredibly hot.

Peter closed and opened his mouth several times and finally gave up when he realised it was no good he had been rendered speechless. Sirius and Remus's jaws dropped Sirius whistled "Damn you girls look hot."

Remus grinned "I absolutely second that." Peter smiled "There is only one word I can think right now, and that's stunning and even then stunning doesn't do the way you girls look right now any justice."

Harry smiled "You girls really do look beautiful. It's hard to believe your only still in your late teens." Ron was grinning "You all look amazing. I just really wish our parents could have seen Ginny looking like this. Dad and mum would have been so proud."

James was looking at Lily lovingly he said "I don't think their is any words worthy of how Lily and the other girls look to night. I'm just relieved that neither of you are on the arm of some other guy."

Ginny smiled brightly and said "Holy shit would you check out Harry and James and the others. Hermione was smiling appreciatively. "You guys really do scrub up nicely."

Petunia grinned suggestively "You do realise you five are most likely the hottest guys here at Hogwarts?" Lily shared an identical look to her sister and added "If I didn't have James I would be hard pressed to choose which one of you three to marry, Harry doesn't count." The others laughed at this knowing exactly why Harry didn't count, incest wasn't very much appreciated.

Lily asked "What exactly were James and Peter laughing at down here that had both Remus and Sirius looking ill?" Harry and Ron said together "Sixth year valentines ball." Remus and Sirius visibly blanched again when Hermione and Ginny looked horrified.

Harry and Ron had to explain to Lily and Petunia what they had told the guys back up in the dorms, as Hermione and Ginny were to busy looking like they were reliving a particularly unpleasant memory.

Soon both the Evans sisters were joining James and Peter and were cackling in delight at the thought of what the older Remus and Sirius and the others must have looked like in eightieth centaury clobber of the opposite gender. Remus and Sirius and the others looked seriously put out at this point in time.

They left out the portrait hole and headed down to the great hall. James asked "Do you think if we asked Dumbledore that he'd let us all borrow his pensive so we could view that memory? I'd never be able to live with myself if I don't get to see all of you in eightieth century clothes of the opposite gender."

Remus and Sirius glared at him in disgust, Harry and Ron looked alarmed as did Hermione and Ginny. Harry gasped "No fucking way pops, you'll just have to try going on living without seeing that night."

But unfortunately for them Dumbledore had granted James and Peter permission to use his pensive at eleven, an hour before the ball was due to end. So they had gone to the ball and had left had eleven a clock and had followed Dumbledore up to his office.
