Aphrodite awoke with great heaviness in her heart, she rolled out of bed and looked at the clock with a gasp, she had half hour to get to the train station, she got her belongings and rushed out the door, by time she got to the train station she saw Remus and Sirius waiting for her, she was panting so Sirius took her luggage for her, they found an empty compartment and sat down, Aphrodite sat near the window and looked out onto the platform, she thought she saw Severus but she deduced that she was seeiningsings, Sirius also sat next to the window on the other side of the window whilst Remus sat next to Aphrodite.
\"Say Aphrodite, isn\'t that Severus there?\" Sirius asked as he pointed out of the window, Aphrodite looked and her heart stopped, it was him as she watched him thought the window she nearly started to cry. Remus turned to face her, she looked at him and tried to smile.
\"What happened between you two any way? We all thought you were set for life\" Aphrodite looked out the window and shrugged.
\"We erm decided not to take our friendship any further\" She tried to sound happy with this decision but it was clear to Remus and Sirius that she was not.
\"You decided or him?\" Sirius spoke with a sharp tone in his voice, Aphrodite stared at him and began to weep. Sirius nodded he didn\'t need confirmation, the train jerked as it started off on its route back to Kings Cross, Remus fell asleep on Aphrodite\'s shoulder and the rest of the train journey was spent in silence.
While they were on their way to Kings Cross via train Severus decided to apparate from Hogsmeade to Kings Cross, he needed to clear things up with Aphrodite before it was too late, he waited for the Hogwarts Express to arrive for a while, when it did turn up he tried to spot Aphrodite, more then likely she was with Remus and Sirius. As he looked out onto the floods of students getting off the train he spotted Sirius, to the lef him him was Remus and slightly lagging behind was Aphrodite, he started to walk over to the three friends, Sirius had spotted him.
\"Aphrodite would you like us to wait for you?\" Sirius turned round to ask Aphrodite but she hadn\'t spotted Severus so she hadn\'t got a clue as to what Sirius was going on about.
\"Aphrodite may I have a word?\" She soon twigged on when she heard the silkily tone of Severus addressing her, she glared at him and nodded, Remus and Sirius said they would wait for her, she smiled and told them she wouldn\'t be long. Severus led her away from her friends.
\"Right you\'ve dragged me away from my friends so what do you want?\" She said icily, Severus stared at her.
\"I wanted to apise ise for this year, for more or less everything I\'ve done, I know it may seem that I led you on but there was a point when I did want a relationship with you but things change\" He tried to explains his actions but Aphrodite didn\'t undand.and.
\"So you pretended? Too cowardly to tell me, you let me care for you but didn\'t think to put me out of my misery?\" she growled
\"I wouldn\'t say pretended exactly\" Severus was clearly uncomfortable with the way the conversation was headed.
\"Oh I would, You were everng tng that I wanted We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it. All of the memories, so close to me, just fade away, all this time you were pretending so much for my happy ending It\'s nice to know that you were there thanks for acting like you cared and making me feel like I was the only one-\" She was upset as she tried to speak she started to cry
\"Its wasn\'t like you think\" He answered back
\"It\'s to to know we had it all, thanks for watching as I fall And letting me know we were done, goodbye Severus\" Aphrodite gave him one last look and walked off in the direction of Remus and Sirius. She told theout out the conversation she just had, they glanced over at Severus and led her away, Aphrodite\'s taxi had arrived so now it was time for the three friends to say goodbye.
\"Cya next year Remus\" She said as she hugged him \"You too Sirius- and behave!\" She hugged Sirius who blushed.
\"Cya Aphrodite\" Both lads said in unison, they waved her off as her taxi drove off into the distance
As soon as Remus and Sirius were of sof sight Aphrodite picked up lug luggage, then seated herself upon a bench whilst she waited for her bus, Severus spotted her and sat down next to her., she looked up at him and then looked away.
\"What is your problem now Severus?\"
\"I don\'t want to end terms with you being such an insufferable woman\"
\"Right well if you left me alone you wouldn\'t be around to make me insufferable or to know I was insufferable\"
\"Indeed, but I have tried to apologise, I don\'t know what else I can do\"
\"You can leave me be, I don\'t even want to look at you, you hurt me\"
\"Aphrodite you have no idea what I have gone through this year\"
\"You\'re right, I don\'t, but what gave you the right to mess with me? When I was due to be married you couldn\'t wait to get your hands on me, trying to persuade me to leave him for you, or was that an act too? Yes you\'ve been through some tough times this year but you weren\'t the only one so stop with the self pity, god knows what I saw in you, you are without doubt the most self centred, egotistic, bitter, twisted man whose so unable to love anyone but himself its sooo unbelievable, I wish to never consort with you again, unfortunately I\'ll see you next year, good day Professor Snape\"
\"How dare you speak to me like that you silly wench, you will see me next year of that I have no doubt but whether you will last or not remains to be seen, trust me. I wont allow wenches to stay at Hogwarts to long, you mark my words\"

\"Just as well I take your threats as seriously as the Weasley twins take life, as I said before gooy Pry Professor Snape\" It was just as well Aphrodite\'s bus came along otherwise she would have had another tongue bashing from Severus, once on the bus she wad asd as Severus turned into a speck in the background, how she couldn\'t wait for next year at Hogwarts, something told her it was going to be an eventful year.
