Chapter 21:
Snape dismissed his godson and smirked as he leaned back into his chair. ‘What fools!” He thought to himself. So it was Lucius’ son after all that was chosen to be the link to the Dark Lords second war. Snape was the only Death Eater that knew the actual second half of the prophecy, thanks to Dumbledore. The Dark Lord has already lost. The key was a true Seelie and a true pure blood Wizard to mate. What he chose was a Wizard that had a lesser fae blood that mucked up the power. Snape actually laughed out loud.
He will keep this knowledge to himself and let the Dark fail. Even if the Dark Lord knew of Lucius’ bloodline, he still would have chosen Lucius as he didn’t know the exact genetics required. All the Dark Lord cared about was linking himself with the Unseelie and Lucius had a thirst for Power that almost rivaled that of the Dark Lord. It will be interesting to see how it would play out. And it was interesting that it would be Draco’s child against Harry’s child in the end. He could only hope that Hogwarts was still standing after it was all said and done. The gods already knew what hell those two have put the walls of Hogwarts through already.

The next evening Lucius decided to take Erin out for a stroll. The gardens were beautiful in the evening and Erin had pleased him that day. She had been so responsive to his touches and he was hoping to try something a bit more romantic for a change.
Lucius had just arrived in the gardens with Erin at his side when a man showed up. He recognized him as Erin’s brother.
“What are you doing here, Rhys?” He asked. Just then a ball of fire was thrown directly at Erin. Lucius acted without thought and placed his body in front of Erin’s taking the blunt of the attack. He collapsed against Erin as he fell, calling out a spell.
Harry and company arrived at that moment and saw Lucius cast a spell at Erin’s’ brother just before his fall. Lucius had just killed Rhys with the killing curse.
Erin was shocked and the garden was thrown into chaos. Death Eaters surrounded them at the same time as the people she had seen at Hogwarts.
Suddenly, everyone was at a stand still. Erin fell to her knees with Lucius in her arms. She felt a tug on the chain around her neck just as she began to feel her life’s force being slowly drained. Erin was panting heavily as she spoke to Lucius.
“Lucius please help me; release me so that I may help you.” Erin pleaded. “I can heal you if you would but give me my magic back.”
“No” he said “I will release you, but you must let me go.”
“But why?” Erin asked.
“I know that as soon as I release you, you will also be released from my hold and I could not bear to live without you. I love you Erin and will die with your lovely face as the last thing I see.”
And he did just that. With a whispered spell, the chain was removed and with his last dying breath he whispered “forgive me.”
Harry ran to Erin and they threw their arms around each other. The others from the Order surrounded the two with their backs in and wands out, trying to protect the lovers.
A crowd of men in black surrounded the small group of wizards and Erin looked up at that moment in fear and began to chant something in Fae. She was chanting to her gods to save them.
At once the group of hooded men called out one spell, a spell that was then bounced off the protective spear that surrounded Erin and her companions. Each and every one of the Death Eaters were speared with their own death spell and collapsed as one.
Everyone turned to look at Erin as she was glowing brightly.
“That wasn’t me.” Erin said with wide eyes and clinging onto Harry.
Professor Dumbledore had that twinkle in his eyes again. “No, that wasn’t you Erin, it was your child. Look at your stomach, girl, and you will see the first signs of your child’s magic.” And sure enough the magical glow of her body was originating from her stomach and the glow spread along her body from there.
Erin was ecstatic and couldn’t contain her happiness as she kissed Harry in front of everyone.
Once they were back at Hogwarts, Erin’s mother Heather was already waiting for her.
“Child, I am told you have some news for me.” She said with a great smile.
Without pause, Heather placed her hand upon Erin’s stomach and squealed in delight. “You carry a girl, a daughter. Oh, Erin!” Erin found herself almost hugged to death by her mother.
“How do you know this mother?” Erin asked.
“Fae Magic, Child. Oh, you have so much to learn.” Her mother responded.

As the years progressed Harry married Erin and had a child named Lily after his mother. She had the Seelie looks; petite with blond hair, yet she had her father’s dark emerald eyes.
Draco Malfoy married Alana and they had a son named Kieran. This boy has the Unseelie looks even with his Veela heritage and had raven locks and black midnight eyes.
The time came when Tom Marvolo Riddle’s soul revealed itself in Draco’s son, but because of the love his parents gave him, he forgot what drove his hatred in his previous life. That and the knowledge that both Tom and Lucius didn’t know that Severus had predicted so long ago was that the power of Kieran Malfoy was not as powerful as that of Lilly Potter. The Veela blood mucked up the blood line preventing Kieran to be a Wizard Mage. He was powerful, yes, just not as much as Lily.
There was also the knowledge that the Veelas are actually controlled by their mates, poor Lucius had no chance against Erin. Even if Rhys and the Order hadn’t showed up, she would have still found a way to free herself for she loved Harry first and foremost, more than was even possible with a basic magical bonding. Yet a Veela would do anything for their mate, whether they will it or not. They would protect their mate with their life and will love them with their very soul, even if the feelings were not returned.
And by chance Kieran found his mate in Lily. The Wizarding and Fae worlds were happy that the two children fell in love and married. They gave birth to a daughter and the Fae Seelie Court accepted their child, Hope Malfoy, as their future queen. The child had the perfect Sidle Seelie looks with her blond hair and her duel ringed eyes of emerald and black. She was betrothed to Asher, Rowans son.
So end the end the Malfoy blood did eventually get the power they so desperately wanted. And the world of Light got their Wizard Mage, their protector in the shape of an unborn baby girl and later with the abundance of love she had, the people of Dark never got their Dark Lord back and the Fae People continued their Royal bloodline.
Oh and Severus prediction about Hogwarts was true. Hogwarts had never seen anything quite like Lilly and Kieran. For their Veela romance was hard to miss between these two lovers.
