Frozen hearts with souls in fire
Alexander, The Great, sneaked closer to the rosarium that was lit from inside and glowed like a dome full of fireflies. In the dark it was a beautiful sight; a beacon to lost ones. He could sense that spells were lowered to the point where it was possible to slip trough and so he crept on, always being on guard, watching out for possible attacks from the rosarium.
Blending into one with shadows, he settled down in a bush and glanced into the rosarium through the glass. Right in the middle among roses he saw Violet and Jack. He suspected Captain Jack Sparrow to be Lucius Malfoy. That thought only sickened him by watching him in another man’s skin kissing the brunet in abandon.
Alexander’s hands curled into fists as he continued to glare at the two of them. A four-poster emerged from the roses, covered with scarlet silk sheets and countless pillows, a shape of hearts. Rose petals rained down on them as Violet smiled seductively and pulling at Jack’s white loose shirt, she lured him into bed.
The old clock up in the Bell Tower chimed midnight hour and the golden emperor’s mask fell down, revealing the blond Slytherin Prince. Draco looked down on his mask and observed himself changing back to his old self from the reflecting surface of the mask. He felt his features moving, flexing and popping as his body accustomed to itself after coming out of magical alteration. The Roman shiny armor transfigured itself back to his fine black dress robes. Getting back the right feeling of himself, Draco dared to look up and see his farther having his way with Hermione.
“Miss Ariston!” came a distant shout with low purring voice. From the darkness of the night Potion Master strode out and was illuminated by the light of the glowing rosarium. Draco froze for a moment as Snape looked around and finally stared at the bush he was hiding in. Holding his breath, Draco prayed that his Head of the House would hurry up and get the hell out of there. But no, he just had to stand there and strain his ears to listen every sound in the night. Bugger him! Draco kept one eye on Snape and finally glanced through the glass. He recognized Hermione cleaning up the scene of the crime and… Draco gasped and quickly covered his mouth with his hand as Snape drew out his wand.
Captain Jack Sparrow still had raven black hair… Maybe the counter spell hadn’t worked like a charm? Draco looked more closely to find more details but the damn brick was standing with his back to him. He couldn’t see his face or hear his voice as he leaned in to whisper something to Hermione. His build was different too… Tall but slender with broad shoulders…
“Mister Zabini!” called waiting Snape in annoyance. A small cry escaped from Draco’s lips as he tried to suffocate it with biting his knuckles. He hadn’t expected that! She had always said Blaise was just a friend and nothing more. So why was she now clinging to his arm and grinning slyly at Snape? What the heck was going on? Had the world gone crazy while he wasn’t looking?
Gritting his teeth, Draco followed his gaze on Hermione and Blaise as they walked to Potion Master. He noticed her clothes. There it was again! Leather! Black leather jacket with red stripes over sides and sleeves. Crimson laces held leather pants together on her hips, revealing some creamy skin that Blaise was allowed to touch as he placed his hand over her hip. Only a skimpy bright red top was concealing her round breasts straining out of half-zipped lapels. Gosh, she was mouthwatering.
Snape took the lead and they walked to the Gates of Hogwarts. Draco already knew they were going to Apparate away from there, so he climbed out of the bush and followed them as carefully as he could. Drawing his wand out, he cast a tracking spell to find out the destination. He was not going to let them get away so easily! He was not going to sit put and worry himself sick while they were having fun! He was going to find out what was going on! He was going to get involved!

It was dark and bloody cold in that place he had Apparated to. Draco didn’t dare to light his wand for not to get caught. So he waited until his eyes accustomed to the dark and he as able to see around. It was some sort of field littered with gravestones, tombs, and statues of praying angels, crosses, mausoleums and chapels. He was in cemetery! Why was he there anyway? And where were Snape and the two Prefects?
A howl screeched through the night and scared some ravens into flight and filling the chilly air with their piercing cries. Draco turned to the sound and crept along the gravestones and tombs to find the source. Clouds roamed over the sky and revealed the Full Moon. Draco glanced up and grunted. It was a very wrong time to be out on the night like this. Who knew what sort of beasts came out on the night like this.
Hiding behind a tomb, he reached to look around the corner and then quickly withdraw. Leaning against the wall with his back, he took a deep breath and tried to focus on what he had seen. Well, it was quite unbelievable, so he tried once more.
On the clearing among the gravestones stood Hermione with a medieval battle-axe in her hand and fought off a vampire. Several feet away from her, Potion Master sat on a gravestone, a huge old book opened on his knees and a levitating wand showing him light over the shoulder as he chanted a spell. On the opposite side was Blaise in the same manner parked right onto a tomb and read a different spell. In the middle of two wizards was Hermione wrestling with one persistent vampire.
At first he didn’t understand why they weren’t helping her but then he noticed graves opening around her and zombies crawling out. They actually summoned the undead! But for what? One of the zombies limped to Blaise and wanted to attack him and suck his brains out but the shield around Blaise stopped the creature. A swift hit from Hermione and the double bladed axe took its head off, killing the poor bastard. Turning her attention back to the vampire, she dusted him by shoving the sharpened end of the axe’s helve through his heart.
“Come on, Professor! Is that all you can do?” leered Hermione as she twirled the axe and chopped another ones head off.
Draco was baffled. Then his mind started to race. It was training! Yes, that’s what it was! Getting his wits together he drew a line from there to Hagrid’s babbling about a new creature in the Forbidden Forest that had scared all the main badass beasts away. She had been training there earlier but then moved to a cemetery. Interesting… Getting so transfixed by her moves and killings that he didn’t hear footsteps behind him. And the deep animalistic growling…
Four vampires attacked her from all sides but Hermione danced around, sending them crashing into granite, broking limbs and noses as she cut off ones leg and other ones ear. And still they came at her, driven by magic, anger and hunger. Professor glanced up from the book and motioned to Blaise. The Italian grinned as he turned the pages while chanting on.
Draco felt the change in the waves of magic and sensed something moving closer with vibrating hate. Swallowing the lump in his throat, Draco turned around and looked at very hairy chest. Gulping, he looked further up and met the golden pair of fuming eyes and a big set of fangs between drooling jaws that belonged to an aggravated werewolf.
“Crap,” muttered Draco and backed away from the werewolf. Stumbling over the gravestones, he tried to get as far as possible when the werewolf landed on all fours and stalked after him, growling and licking his jaws.
Hermione dusted the last vampire and hacked some zombie’ heads off when she noticed the huge werewolf cornering someone against the tomb’s wall.
“Hey! Fluffy! Yeah, you!” she shouted and knocked a zombie out of her way as she strode to greet the creature. “Come here, you big sissy!”
The werewolf turned to look at Hermione and then roared at Draco who went weak from the knees and slide down the wall to the pavement. He was so terrified that he even couldn’t think any curse to get rid of the thing. With a hazed mind he watched as the slayer in tight leather outfit urged the beast to attack her. She had to be crazy! Just one bite and she’d be damned for the life. Just one scratch… on her beautiful skin…
“No!” yelled Draco and got to his feet. He hated himself for being weak while she was like a machine, never fearing, never giving up, never giving in.
Blaise looked up and noticed Draco staggering to the clearing of broken stones and open graves. But still he went on with the spell to keep the wolf on its toes with Hermione and keep him angry enough. Unfortunately he couldn’t do anything to keep the beast from attacking Draco too. Shield around Blaise was still working and separated him from them.
“You know, I could get you expelled, Ariston! And you, Professor, very much sacked!” sneered Draco as he got half of his composure back to taunt them.
“Are you nuts? Want to get killed?” yelled Hermione over the werewolf that had her stumbled into an open grave and clawed at her, trying to reach her and rip her into pieces.
“I can see you have everything under control,” smirked Draco and got into fight with one hungry zombie. Werewolf was still clawing at Hermione and for better angle, he positioned himself over the grave with both legs on either sides. Hermione had pressed herself into farthest corner and protected herself with her axe.
“I have everything under control! It’s you who hasn’t!” grunted Hermione and leaping up, dodging wolf’s claws, she thrust the axe up, hit the soft belly of the beast and tore it open. With a howl, the beast slumped to the bottom of crave and very much satisfied Hermione crawled out. She had some blood smeared over her jacket but the more she was happier. Draco cracked the neck of the zombie and stared right in the eye of Hermione.
“End of session!” boomed Potion Master and slammed the Grimoire shut. With that the force field was also gone. The last remaining vampires and zombies fled from the sight as Blaise also lowered his wards and hopped down from the tomb.
Hermione stood face to face with Draco and didn’t flinch as he took a step closer.
“He has to be Obliviated, Sir,” told Blaise and handed his Grimoire to Snape.
“You’re right, Mister Zabini,” replied Snape as he put the books away. Draco raised a pale eyebrow and turned to look at Snape in disbelief.
“That ain’t gonna happen!” growled Draco and pointed his wand at Snape who just stared at him with blank expression.
“Oh, then blame yourself,” huffed Hermione and hit him at the face, sending him tumbling over. On the next second she was straddling him and twisting his wand out of his grip. In one point Blaise had also joined the struggle. It was just a mess of entwined bodies finding the upper hand.
Professor Snape stood there and pointed his wand at the three of them but couldn’t get a clear shot as Blaise and Hermione wrestled with Draco. The blond hair was his aim but it always changed places as Draco was constantly pinned under the two of them.
Something on her belt scraped him as Draco was trying to crawl away from under her. Grabbing at it and from the belt, he used it as a leverage to throw her off of him. Blaise’s hands came around his neck for a headlock as Hermione landed few feet away from them.
A spell was shot but it missed as Draco rolled himself around and ripped Blaise off but on the same time Hermione jumped on him from the back. Something beeped warningly and looking over his shoulder, Draco spotted some flashing tiny lights on the device attached to her belt. They went from green to red and with the second shot from Snape’s wand the world was all gone.

It was late evening when Griffindor ended the Quidditch practice. It was raining hard and muddy griffindors gathered the balls into the crate so they could retire and hand over the pitch to Slytherin team.
Draco Malfoy stood on the edge of the field and stared dumbfounded into the night. The Keeper, Eris Jones ushered the players out of the changing-room and onto the pitch taking no complaining. Among the players was Hermione Ariston, the Star Seeker who threw away her soaked cloak and mounted her Thunderbird. With awe Draco watched her dart over the field to where Saint Potter was still playing with Golden Snitch. She reached out her hand and pressed herself flat on the broom. She was so close…
Suddenly a green light roared past Potter as he turned to look something hitting the ground after the impact with the curse. Then he heard the words echoing on the pitch.
“Avada Kedavra!” Which made everyone feel ill on the field. Just several feet away from the crash stood Carmen Granger with still raised wand in her hand.
