Chapter 20: The Awakening
Chapter 20: Awakening
Hospital Trip for Potter’s Sister,
Isabelle Levine, long lost sister of Harry Potter was admitted to St Mungo’s two days ago due to unknown reasons other than he being in a life threatening state. It is reported that Potter is with his sister at all times. She has received a visit from long time partner Draco Malfoy who did not seem to stay to long, and Severus Snape who is a Professor and Hogwarts. We had been told that Isabelle had been a part of the reforming death eaters, of course this isn’t verified but we should all be sure that this will all be investigated.
Rita Skeeta.
Harry rolled up the paper angrily and slammed it down on to the bench beside him. He couldn’t believe that that woman was still writing untrue stories. Harry knew that Isabelle would never be a D.E. Harry rose from his chair and looked closely at Isabelle’s wrist looking for the dark mark making sure that the story was in fact untrue. He sat down again after noting that there was nothing on her arm.
Isabelle awoke slowly. She looked up and around wondering where she was. She looked at Harry with a confused and scared look. Harry hadn’t noticed that she had woken up yet. His mind had floated off as he began to think about other things. Isabelle raised her hand slowly as she reached over to Harry’s hand on the edge of her bed.
“Harry?” Isabelle whispered hoarsely. Harry looked at his sister with a stunned look.
“Isa? You’re awake.” Harry stood up, holding her hand.
“What’s happened?” Isabelle held a look of fear upon her face. Harry stood there silently for a moment thinking of something to say to her but he didn’t know what to tell her. He knew she was to fragile to know the truth.
“You and Draco had a fight and he went a little bit over board.” Harry looked away from his sister as he lied to her. Isabelle looked away from him not knowing how to react to what he had said to her. She couldn’t understand how the man she had spent the last 7 years with hurt her so much.
Harry watched as a stray tear fell down the side of Isabelle’s face. He felt his heart break while he watched her in pain and at the fact that he had lied to her. In his mind he knew that telling her the truth in her fragile state would make her even worse. At this time all Isabelle needed was to rest.
“How long have I been here for?” Isabelle asked in a whisper.
“10 Days.” Harry replied.
“I don’t want to be here.” Isabelle attempted to sit up but felt a searing pain in her abdomen. She let out a cry of pain.
“Isa, don’t move. I’ll take you home as soon as I can.” Harry pushed Isabelle down on to her bed softly and left to room to see if he could find someone to talk to about taking Isabelle back to his house. Isabelle lifted up her bed sheets and looked down at her body. She saw bruises and cuts all over her legs, the sight made her sick and she put down her bed sheets again not wanting to see anymore.
Harry walked back in to the room. “A healer will come in and check you once more then we can go… Is that alright?” Isabelle nodded in return. Harry sat down next to Isabelle again and held her hand.
“Thank you.” Isabelle attempted to smile but her swollen face wouldn’t let her.
*************
Harry slowly helped Isabelle in to her own bed back at his house. The trip from St Mungos to his house had exhausted Isabelle immensely and she had fallen asleep as he brought her in to his house. Harry tucked Isabelle in neatly and walked out of the room. He looked at his wife while she waited at the door to Isabelle’s room.
“Will she be alright?” Amanda asked looking extremely worried. Harry closed the bedroom door behind him.
“She’ll take some time” Harry whispered softly. “Make sure no one bothers her ok?”
“Of course.” Amanda nodded. Harry and Amanda walked downstairs. They heard a knock at their front door. “I’ll get it.” Amanda walked away from Harry and towards the front door. She looked through the small hole in the door to see who it was and saw Draco looking angry. “Harry, Its Draco.” Amanda shouted. Harry walked to the door and opened it.
“You have some nerve to show up here after what you did, you should leave now Malfoy.” Harry growled sternly.
“Not with out Isabelle.” Draco tried to push past Harry but Harry pushed him back and grabbed his throat.
“You are no good for her. She’ll never go back to you. This is your last warning, leave now.” Harry spat in to Draco’s ear. Draco pushed Harry away from him.
“I’ll be back Potter. You can’t stop me from getting her back. A Malfoy always gets what they want.” Draco walked away from the door and disappeared.
“Yeah well she won’t be something you’ll get.” Harry walked back in to his house and slammed the door behind him.
“Harry this is dangerous… what about the kids.” Amanda sound panicked.
“Isabelle can’t leave this house Amanda, she’s been through enough.” Harry looked up the staircase and saw Isabelle standing there staring at the both of them.
“I’m sorry.” Isabelle muttered.
“Isa you should be in bed.” Harry rushed towards her. “Come on.” Harry slowly lead Isabelle back to her bed.
“Amanda is right. It is dangerous for me to be here.”
“No Isabelle, don’t worry about that. Nothing will happen. You just have to rest.” Harry walked Isabelle in to her room and sat her down on the bed. “If you leave here Draco will end up having you again.”
“What about my things that are still back at Draco’s?” Isabelle slowly laid down in her bed.
“I’ll go and get them, don’t worry about it.” Harry walked towards Isabelle’s bed room door. “Just sleep please don’t get up.” Harry left the room closing the door behind him. Isabelle rolled around her bed finding it hard to rest with all the thoughts running through her head and the pain rushing through her body. She closed her eyes and thought of her life if she hadn’t been with Draco, if she hadn’t broken up with Snape. Snape was everything she had ever dreamed of, he was the love of her life and always will be.
