Chapter 2:
After a quick reminder of what can be done and want can’t done in front of others, Connie gave his son a hug and a ruffle through the shaggy sandy hair before following the DADA professor and leaving him to defend for himself with the other first years. They were all placed into groups of four and then placed into rickety old row boats.
Robin was so sure that at some point doing the boat ride that if not his, then someone’s else boat would have sprung a leak, thus sunk to the bottom of the murky water, leaving the riders to have to swim to the closest body of land. Also, it didn’t help to not know how to swim and loved any large body of water just as much as cat does. So, he sat in the middle away from the edges of the small boat with eyes shut close.
But to his great misfortune, his new friend from the train was one of his boat mates.
“What’s the matter? Afraid to get wet?” The dark haired boy smirked as he reached over the boat and splashed some water at the poor thing.
“Hey, watch or you might tip us over!” The only girl, a frizzy haired redhead, shouted while trying to keep the boat from rocking over.
“Yeah, Colt. I heard that’s there a big creature in the water and it’s eats anyone that goes in the water.” Another boy, one with chopped brownie dark hair warned.
Colt did stopped but looked down at the now wet blonde with malice-stricken eyes. Robin wiped off the water from his face, remembering his father’s ideas about dealing with bullies.
“If you don’t like them get to you, then they won’t bother you for long.”
But somehow this one bully wasn’t about to leave him alone for a long time.
In his own little mind, he thought he was doing a very brave thing. Standing up to someone, proving how he didn’t scare him and al that. But he wasn’t counting on his hand being grabbed and being pulled in after the boy.
They both gave a loud screamed as they hit the water. The blonde boy felt like pins and needles were going through his entire body as the cold water engulfed his entire body. He tried to move his arms and legs but they refused to cooperate with his orders and he knew that he was sinking to the bottom of the moatat alarming pace.
His dad never once thought about teaching his boy how to swim, mainly because he couldn’t either and they didn’t leave in area where it was really needed to know how to swim. But it felt a little good to blame all this on the old man.
The dank murky water began to rushed through his nostrils and forced entry into his mouth but before he fully succumb to the moat that surrounded the giant school, a dark shadow suddenly appeared within his view and something grabbed his hand and around his middle tightly as if afraid to let go.
He inhaled deeply once that they have broke surface. Sweet, sweet air filled his lungs and sour , sour water were forced back out in hacking coughs as the blonde was pulled back into the boat. His savior had long left him as soon as the other two students had a hold of him. Robin never saw clearly of who it was but whoever it was, he owed him or her his life!
And that prick Colt was already in the boat, shivering and looking a lot like a drenched rat.
“If you didn’t know how to swim then don’t be getting yourself thrown overboard. Stupid boys!” The redheaded girl rolled her dark blue eyes at him as she rubbed him down, getting his body warmed up.
“So-” The chilling blonde was about to say till he was interrupted by the dark haired bully.
“We are not telling the professors any of this, is that understood?” He snapped at everyone in the boat, but using his domineering glare on the half-fae. Robin tried hard to not look away like a scolded child.
“But-”
“We accidentally went overboard but we are fine now. Right?” Why did that glare of his seemed to scare him so bad. He’s the same age as he was but only a tad bigger and taller. So why was he so afraid to tell the truth when asked by a professor when they want to know why he was so wet?
This kid couldn’t kill him for snitching. Could he? Would he?
They all nodded in agreement and for the rest of the ride, the girl, Clare, as he later was told, kept rubbing warmth into him and Colt stared out in the water behind them. The other boy, Karl, just kept looking at all them with eyes that said that they were all crazy.

The atmosphere in the great hall could be summed in just one word. Loud. Friends separated by months of summer were now tighter again and talk like their very lives depended upon it about their summer adventures. Almost all the students were talking about the rumors of having a half-fae as the new Transfiguration professor and being fresh from American helped the man’s reputation a great deal as well.
And he wasn’t even here yet!
Remus looked everywhere in the large room for that tuff of wild hair but it remained to be hidden from view. There were three empty chairs at the long table that was persevered for the Teachers of Hogwarts. One was for Connie but who were the other two seats for?
He got to admit, he was going into this as blindly as they come but wasn’t that what made Life exciting? Going blindly into situations and praying that everything would end up all right?
That what his old friends thought and believed in. But now they dead and he was getting too old to be having adventures.
Minerva McGonagall, Hogwarts’ new Headmistress gave the order for the first years to come in and began the annual house-placement ceremony. Two late comers approached the long table from one of the side doors.
A blonde man that looked awfully familiar with a face of filled wariness, making him older then he really was with short crisped cut hair with eye long bangs. But his grey-blue eyes were too familiar that the tawny-haired werewolf was beating himself so much over the fact that he couldn’t place a name with them. But he did know the brunet whose oddly limping towards the empty seat next to him. But now, his hair had calm down some, finally deciding on letting down and used, what couldn’t possibly be a Gryffindor tie but it was as a headband to keep all of it from his face. Connie was wearing the traditional black robes with strange pins along the collar and red buttons and buttoned down shit like his own white one but no tie and a black t-shirt underneath and jeans?
Well, he never pegged the man to be stickler for tradition and that what he was beginning to like about the half-fae. But what was with that band-aid on his cheek.
“Sorry, I forgotten about those moving stairs and fell frontwards when one of them was moving.” The brunet whispered and laughed at his misfortune, stretching his head. “My new buddy, Mally over there suggested that we go over to the infirmary to have to new nurse take a look at me but we were already running a tad late.
“Mally?” He turned to face the blonde that came with his colleague but the man’s face was hidden from him as he spoke with other professor.
The hat sang his usually song, glad that some things had never changed. But the blue-eyed* werewolf was trying to figure out the dark tall man that stood guarding the first years. He had dark chin-long greasy hair and long hooked nose with pursed lips. He was dressed in tight black robes and his eyes were wary but still fear-inducing.
“Oh, dear God. It can’t be him?” He muttered under his breath.
Connie’s yellow eyes narrowed at what his friend had said and looked in the same direction as the DADA professor was.
“What is it, Lu?” he whispered as the old floppy hat finished his yearly song.
“It’s Severus Snape.”

Also, well too late to use for the last two chapters but I did found a Harry Potter Site on wika-pedi(spelling is so wrong but who the fuck cares) and will be using it from now on as a guide for this fic.
