Chapter Two

Ginny awoke the next morning to the smell of cooking bacon.She smiled as she opened her eyes.She loved it when Ruby cooked.Even something as simple as bacon and eggs was amazing when she made it.She slowly rose from the bed and put on a robe.She then made her way into the kitchen.

"Morning babe."Ruby greeted Ginny as she wrapped her arms around the brunette.Ruby was wearing a white tank top and a pair of black panties.The two of them lived alone so they could walk around in anything.

Ginny began to kiss Ruby's neck,caressing her body.Ruby giggled as Ginny found her sensitive spot just below her ear lobe.She turned around and caught Ginny's mouth with her's,slipping her tongue inside to massage the red head's.Ginny's hand found their way to Ruby's firm bottom and cupped it.

"Do you know I love you?"Ginny asked inbetween kisses.Ruby wrapped her arms around Ginny's neck.

"Yes of course,and you know I love morning sex,but can this wait 'til after breakfast.The bacon will burn."She said as Ginny's mouth moved down to her neck.

"Let it burn."Ginny told her.

"No I can't,"Ruby pulled Ginny off of her."I'm sorry but last time the apartment almost burnt down.Mrs.Brenton had to call 911."Ginny gave Ruby puppy dog eyes."I said no."She told her firmly.

"Fine."Ginny plopped down on a chair at the table and folded her arms over her chest,sulking."What time we work today?"She asked when Ruby began dividing up the bacon and eggs onto two plates.

"Eight today,"Ruby replied,sitting down across from her."That means we have all day to do something."

"Oh goodie."Ginny said excitedly.She loved the fact that when you work at a burlesque house you don't go in until late.

"Anything in mind for the day?"Ruby asked as she watched a smile creep up on Ginny's face.She always found something for the two of them to do during the day.She just loved planning out their day's events.

"Yes."Ginny told her,shovelling eggs into her mouth.

"Oh do tell."Ruby said playfully.

"Well,I do need a new outfit for work tonight."Ginny explained."Maybe you could take me shopping?"

"Hey,you have a job.Take yourself shopping!"Ruby told her as Ginny gave her the puppy dog eyes again.

"But you make so much more money than me."Ginny pleaded.It was true.Ruby was the main act at Sugar Dolls every night,unless they had a celebrity guest.Ginny and her girls were just the opening act.

"That's only because you've only been working there as a performer for a year.I've been working there for three years."Ginny was 19 and Ruby was 24.When Ginny arrived in the muggle world she found Sugar Dolls and applied there,but was still too young at 16 and had to do with working as a waitress,and that was only because the owner had taken an automatic liking to her with her big blue eyes,long slim legs,thin form and bright red hair.

"Fine,"Said Ginny,throwing down her fork."I'll buy my own,but you havta deal with me shopping all day."

"Fine."

Ginny and Ruby spent the whole day shopping in muggle London (not that Ruby knew there was anywhere else to shop in London).Ginny dragged Ruby around to all her favourite stores.When they left to get some dinner,she had three shopping bags full of new clothes.She'd bought a leather zip up tube top with matching booty shorts,a bunch of new lingerie and a couple new tops.It was six o'clock by the time the two of them sat down to dinner in McDonald's.

"I'm starved."Ginny said as they carried their trays into a booth.She then began to shovel her Big Mac into her mouth.

"Woah,"Ruby said."slow down.You don't wanna' be sick for work,do you?"Ginny stuck her tongue out at her.

"What are you,my mother?"Ginny replied through a mouth full of food.

"No,but that reminds me,"Ruby put down her food and got a serious look on her face.An alarm in Ginny's head went off,but she saw no escape."when can I meet you folks?"

"Not this again."Ginny rolled her eyes.Ever since they'd started dating nearly a year ago,Ruby had been asking to meet Ginny's parents.Normally she wouldn've introduced them,but Ruby was a muggle and she just wasn't up to telling her he was a witch.lus she couldn't return to the wizarding worl,not with Voldemort still after her.Harry had told her to leave and not return until he gave her word that it was safe,and that's just what she intended to do.

"Yes this again,Gin,we've been dating for a while now.I wanna' meet your parents.You can't keep them a secret forever."She told her,reaching for her hand."Why won't you let me meet them?"

"Uhh..."Ginny had to think fast.Tons of excuses popped into her head from 'they're dead' to 'I hate them'.She quickly decided on one."I haven't exactly told them about us yet....or about me for that matter."Ginny lowered her gaze down to her food.Okay,that wasn't the real reason,but it was true.She hadn't told her parents about Ruby and her's relationship or the fact that she was a lesbian.Actually,the only aspects of her life she'd been able to share with her parents over the past few years was that she was alright and had a good job.Anything other than that could've given away her hiding place.Ruby let go of Ginny's hand.

"Oh,well,"She looked quite upset."I just thought I meant enough to you that what your parents thought wouldn't matter."

"Ruby,don't start this."But it was too late,Ruby was already gathering her things together and standing up.

"I'm not starting anything,Gin,"She said,tears in her eyes."I just thought I meant something to you."And with that she walked away.Ginny stood up and made to follow her,but Ruby began to run.She was too fast for her and she couldn't catch up.Ruby was gone.
