THE DARK CASTLE
CHAPTER 2

”Damien. Who rules the castle now when I am not there?” Harry asked curiously. Damien smiled at him and said in a proud voice:
“My brother Dylan. He was your grandfathers right hand.”
“How old is the eldest person in my castle?” Harry continued to ask. He wanted to know as much as possible.
“2014. We are old but we look young,\" he explained and then added \"Accept for the werewolfs, that is.”
“Shit.... I see. And how old are you?” he asked with awe mixed with curiosity.
“240 years.”
“That iss quite young for an elf, if I am not terrible mistaking.” Harry said thoughtfully. he could remember Hermione rambling about that some time ago. Not that he actually used to listen to her but sometimes somethings went into his head anyway.
“You are not mistaken, you are actually right.”
Harry sighed. He wasn\'t sure how to take all this new things that continued to get thrown into his face. He also wasn’ t sure how his friends would take his new appearance. Especially Ron. He’d be jealous as always. He hated it how Ron went all tempramental and stubborn once in a while. He always turned on him for the slightest thing too.
He looked very hot now; he had to admit it himself. With his green eyes that had become darker, his well trained body and his quite ruly hair... And his high height. He was taller then Ron probably. All thanks to Damien. This was what he would look like even without the potions if the Dursleys hadn’t starved him when he was younger. And his sight was perfect, now when he didn’t live in a dark cupboard. But at the same time he wasn’t entirely sure if he’s care about what his friends thought. He was changed now, wasn’t he?
“Boy! Get ready to go!”
It had been a quiet summer in Privet Drive. The Dursleys kept out of his way as much as possible. He was grateful because he had to keep focused on his studies and he didn’t have time to fight them. He had already learned all light, white magic. He had to know the basics before he entered the heavy dark stuff. And he practised things that now days was forgotten by wizards. So he had time on his side.
“What are we going to do today?” he asked Damien.
“Dance,” he answered with a perfectly straigt face.
Harry stared.
“Excuse me? You have got to be kidding me! I am a terrible dancer and this is my last day here! I am leaving for Hogwarts tomorrow and you want to waste our time dancing?!” he said incredious.
“Yes I am well aware of the fact that you are leaving. We will continue out lessons in the Forbidden forest. And you need to learn how to dance. We are doing it all the time in the castle and it also means power.”
“Power? You get power if you dance?” he said sceptical. He very much doubted it.To him da
”You can get an advantage over important ladies and if you are self- confident out on the dance floor it would make the others unsure of you. You have no idea how often people agrees to things they normaly wouldn\'t while dancing”, Damien said and looked as if he remembered a particular event.
Harry shook his head. He doubted it, he would never learn how to dance.
“C’mon! It’s gonna be fun!” Damien coaxed and Harry agreed reluctantly with a great sigh.
Damien sure could dance. He taught Harry some moves to all kind of music styles but mostly to RnB, Trance and Pop. He learned quickly from Damien since the elf wasa good teacher. He could see why his grandfather had picked Damien as his teacher. Damien also taught him the classic *boring\' dances as harry called them. Those were of course waltz, foxtrot and even some tango got thrown into the mix. For harry it seemed like an whole eternity before Damien said that the lesson was over. Harry colapsed right on the spot and sat on the floor; nursing his aching feets.
“Good! You have it in your blood. Everyone in the Dark Castle has. It makes us train our reflexes and it provides us from becoming stiff. That’s why we’re so light. It helps us in a battle when the others are heavy on their feet”, Damien said smugly.
Harry nodded. He had learned how important it was to never stand still on his feet during a fight.
“Can you sing?” Damien continued in a spiritual way.
“Oh nooo Damien! End of fun!” he said and added a glare for extra effect.
“Honestly, try. Alright?” Damien said pleadingly.
“I suppose its power?” he said in a sulking voice. He just couldn\'t stand that puppy face Damien pulled.
Damien nodded. Harry sighed and sang a rather...ahem.. Colourful song.
“It was good,” Damien said with laugher in his voice.
“And don\'t you dare say anything else!” Harry said threatingly.
“Yes I do. I told you that you sucked on dancing when you first tried, didn’t I?” Damien said cheekily. Since their friendship and grown Damien had stopped being so formal and the elf got worse for each day. He even dared suggest (say) that Harry sucked on certain things!
“Don’t remind me!” Harry groaned.
“Touchy, aren’t we? I told you to practise on not showing your emotions, not even around me,” Damien said and sat down on a chair.
“It’s not all that funny to walk around and be a stone face all day long!” he defended himself.
“I know. You don’t need to all the time. Just so you learn it.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll keep it in mind.” He said. They talked for a little bit more until he said good-bye and went \"home\" to the muggles.
