Second Week - April 17th - April 22nd. - Flight.
52
Summary: A realtime FF in 52 chapters, covering a year, co-written by Lysa and Kabal. Durmstrang´s Schoolboard wishes to allow muggleborns. Karkaroff seeks Voldemort´s help to prevent it. The price is information, and Karkaroff talks. He blows Snape´s cover. The sinister potions master must flee, helped by a young, clumsy Auror he hates. Can hate turn into something different? Oh. And smut. A lot of smut. AU when it comes to Karkaroff and Snape´s whereabouts, but except for that canon.
Rating: You name it, we´ve got it - at some point in the story - as long as you don´t name children or animals. (Werewolves not considered animals)
Kids? Scram! Don´t like kinky, \"perverted\" sex? Don´t read. - In short: NC-17! Consider yourself warned.
Disclaimer: All Hail JKR! Everything recognizable belongs to her. The story though, belongs to us.
Posting of this story will go on for a year, (April 2005 - April 2006) and be - to our knowledge - the first (kind of) realtime FF written. Posting will be at least once a week. It is a birthday present for a beautiful (and kinky) young woman, Matilde, who only deserves the best. We´ll try to give her exactly that.
Happy Birthday, Matilde!

Second Week - April 17th - April 22nd. - Flight.
By Kabal
Friday april 22nd – Transsylvania
Dear Minerva!
I am terribly sorry to have to start out like this, but I really have to get this out :
I hate that insufferable, greasy old git!
He is hateful, spiteful, sarcastic, mean and persistent to boot!
I know I should feel a bit sorry for him, but I really can’t. Tell Albus that I am awfully sorry, but I will have to either kill him or Snape before long, just for putting me in this position.
But I digress. I really should begin at the beginning, and as you were unable to attend the meeting last week, I will start there. I hope your flu is better, by the way.
Most of the Order showed up for the meeting even though it was called so relatively fast; I think you and Figg were the only ones missing.
Severus (yes we are apparantly on first name terms *sigh*) had been called by the dark mark that same morning.
Wisely (and thus oddly enough) he had chosen to not answer it’s call, and instead it was becoming more and more painful to him.
Suffice to say he was almost impossible to be around. You know how nasty he can be, and there was absolutely no holding back that night.
I think he managed to alienate or at least offend pretty much everyone… Impressive given how easy going many of our members are.
His piece of news was the headline-business, of course.
Albus seemed to think that there would be less pain from the mark if there was more distance between Snape and You-know-who. I don’t really know how he deduced that, but Severus seemed to agree with him, mumbling that if it worked for others, it would probably work for him as well.
A pretty big argument ensued, though, since Severus was insisting on going off alone – he didn’t need a baby-sitter, as he put it.
In the end he was voted – and shouted – down.
Even Molly went up against him, acting as if he was one of her children.
I’m afraid said children noticed that as well, they were nearly choking with laughter!
Then came the problem of who should go with him… Oh dear, what a problem.
It was painfully clear that noone fancied the job.
You have to hand it to Harry, though, he volunteered! Albus categorically denied it, if he went off everyone would notice that he was gone, and he would be recognised way too easily.
Of course he saw the sense in that, and I dare say he was a bit relieved too.
Too many of our people are indispenseble, really.
I however, even though usefull, am young, have a relatively low position in the Minstry – the other Aurors are way more usefull than me since they get more information - and I can easily take leave to go further educate myself. So that was what we decided I should do.
I have aplied for leave from out here, and I got a positive answer way faster than I like to think about…
Of course you already know it, but it was also decided that Hermione should substitute for Severus at Hogwarts at least for the remainder of this semester.
I think he was displeased, but not as much as he might have been. At least he knows that Albus found no-one less than the brightest young witch around to fill his shoes – perhaps that stroked his ego a bit.
In the end we were given till the next morning to pack a few things, we would have to travel light as we started out on broomsticks, and then we met up at the Headquarters the next morning.
Dumbledore contacted Madame Maxime that same night and made arrangements for us to sleep at Beauxbatons the first night. My bottom hurt just thinking about that many hours on a broom…!
Harry was very nice and hospitable, really, even though it was so early I am sure he was not quite awake. He made breakfast and evrything. I swear that boy is a better cook than I will ever be. At least he was very sympathetic towards us – perhaps a bit more sincerely towards me, but really, who can blame him?
Hermione was there as well, all nervous and trying to hide it. She and Severus had a talk about his teaching and it seemed rather cordial.
I even think he made a joke when he said she should remember to terrorize his students so they didn’t go soft in his absence. She laughed, at least.
We left before dawn, as we would have to take off from the ground and didn’t want to be seen.
Before we went out of the house we did the Disillusionement Charm on each other. I hate the way that thing feels!
We set off.
It was a long, slow and uncomfortable flight.
We didn’t set down again till Dover, where we hid in a small grove of trees – there was noone to be seen anywhere around.
There we had our lunch (brought with us, courtesy of Harry once more) and then we crossed the Canal.
I don’t think we spoke more that a few words that day.
We landed in France after nightfall. Madame Maxime seemed to have predicted our approximate time of arrival and was waiting for us outside the palace.
It was well after bedtime and I don’t think anyone else knew we were there.
She ushered us to her private quarters and had managed to get two actual beds to her rooms – one in her own bedroom, for me – and one in the livingroom for Severus.
She was extremely kind and I really hope I can see her again to thank her more properly.
Her rooms were so beautiful that I felt like I was trespassing on a princess.
I was really careful there, and I didn’t break anything – I was so relieved!
It would have been so embarassing.
I think both Severus and I hoped that he would feel better in France, but it was still very bad. To his advantage I must say that he really kept his annoyance in check very good.
I would have been impressed if it were not for how he acted after we left.
He probably just needed to vent, but I really wish he would have told off the birds or something – I felt miserable!
Much worse than when I were in school, even.
Where, as he kindly reminded me, I wasn’t very fortunate either. Especially not in his classes.
I don’t think I have felt that humiliated since the time I spilled shrinking potion all over my clothes and as a consequence suddenly stood there in my underwear since all my clothes split at the seems as they grew too small for me.
As I recall he was impressed that I had managed to shrink inanimate objects with a potion, but then again I am not sure, I was too busy hiding and blushing.
Oh yeah, it was him that reminded me of that incident as well, I had happily repressed that memory up untill then.
It took us three more days to reach Charlie and the dragons in Romania.
We had owled ahead and told him to meet us at a certain mountain that Severus apparantly knew; I didn’t know that, but he is interrested in geography – in particular landmarks like rivers and mountains and stuff.
Who would have thought that…?
It was dead usefull though, and Charlie was there when we arrived.
The place was close to the dragon reservation and he had told the others there that he would go on a small recconnaisance trip into the woods. They regularly get reports about stray dragons in that area – it is so remote that very few people live there, and the few muggles there believe in all sorts of magical stuff.
Severus was in a much better mood then – but I think you would have to have been along on the trip to notice that – when we got there.
Charlie had found us a small cabin in the woods but warned us staunchly about going out when it was dark since both werewolves and vampires live in that area.
The Romanian government have no or little control with the far parts of their country, particularly those Transsylvanian woods.
Charlie stayed with us the first day and had made sure the cabin was well stocked with food and such. He promised to drop by ever so often to keep us supplied.
He lent us an owl for communications with him and we decided that he would take our letters to his camp and send them from there as that would be much less suspicious.
(Right now he is talking with Severus waiting for me to finish this our first report.)
You must mention to Molly how great Charlie is being – she really did raise some good kids.
When we first got here, that first night out here, Severus went to bed early and Charlie and I stayed up and talked.
He was so sweet to me.We talked about Hogwarts (I was in Bill’s year, so we have a few common memories), England (he misses the weather! Silly boy) and his family. He was dying for news about all sorts of people, we know.
Before I knew of it I was telling him about our trip – and even about that story with the shrinking potion! It hurt so much that Severus brought that up and Charlie was a great sport, very good at comforting me.
Don’t ever tell Molly this, but he is kind of sexy and having those strong arms of his around me – even if it was just him being friendly – was really good. And not just because he actually managed to comfort me.
After that I have just been stuck here with Severus. I go for walks in the woods, he brews potions. The man is sincerely obsessed with potions!
I have no clue why he so wants to teach Dark Arts – he seems to live for brewing stuff.
Never did understand the fascination in that subject…
At least it means that he is not bothering me and I try to stay as far away as possible – there is no way I want to risk spilling potions again anywhere near him!
Downside is, I’m bored to death! There is nothing here to do.
Yesterday I found myself asking him to explain some ingredient he was using, just to relieve my boredom.
He actually gave me the lecture, so I think he must be a bit bored too.
The moon is going to be full in two days, I think we will have to make a few precautions, just in case.
That might be why he is brewing so single mindedly.
We haven’t seen or heard of any vampires yet, though. We have hung garlic at the door and windows, though.
Charlie told us that it’s tradition and if we didn’t do it we would attract attention.
I don’t know from whom, being out here, but you never know, I guess.
Oops, it is a bit later now, still friday – or saturday, it’s the middle of the night. I don’t really know how this happened, and I guess I shouldn’t tell you this, but I need to talk to someone, and the two other options here are not options!
There’s no way I could tell any of this to Severus and I can’t talk to Charlie about himself!
Yes, about Charlie.
I wrote earlier that he can be really sexy, right? Well, now it’s in the middle of the night and I found out just how sexy!
And oh my, it’s a lot…!
He stayed for dinner, which made dinner a lot more enjoyable – and edible – and again we talked for a very long time. Severus went to bed early, again, I think he dislikes us having fun like that, being young an all that, you know.
Well, Charlie had brought some wine – the local wine is quite good, really – and we all shared a bottle at dinner.
It even lightened up Severus a bit, he wasn’t as mean, even if he does insist on calling me ‘Nymphadora’ in that patronising voice of his.
Maybe it made him tired as well since he went to bed that early.
But enough about him!
Charlie and I drank another bottle of wine and we started to play cards. We really had fun and we talked about old crushes and sex and desires and all those things that often come up when you drink with someone you feel you can trust.
At some point he admitted to having a crush on me back at school but never dared say anything since I was older than him.
He always felt somewhat outstaged by Bill ‘cause he’s good looking and girls always go for him.
I mean, Bill’s sweet and charming, but I always liked Charlie better. I think it’s his sensibility – I don’t have much of that so I admire it in others.
Anyway, suddenly he kissed me, and I must say he’s a great kisser. So tender and sweet, just as his personality.
And I was feeling very attracted to him by then. So I told him that I always liked him better than Bill and then I kissed him.
After that it’s a litle bit blurry…
But we were on the floor in front of the fire, and his rough hands were touching me so softly that you wouldn’t believe it.
Clothes were definitely in the way and we both knew it and before long they were all gone.
Wow, those hands… Minerva, he’s an expert there! Goodness.
And his tongue. I think there’s not a spot on me that has not been touched or kissed tonight, it felt so good.
Every woman should be loved like that at least once.
Considerate men are hard to come by and Charlie certainly is one. So attentive.
He really took good care of my needs.
I haven’t had that good an orgasm since, well, in years. I did mention that his tongue was something special, right.
Sex. Still amazing. Soft, hard, full, gentle, all of it in the same thing.
He made me come again while he was in me, that happens so rarely I was a bit surprised, actually. But I didn’t give him any reason to doubt how much I enjoyed it.
He was pretty pleased himself, judging by how he acted. He actually mumbled my name as he came, I don’t think anyone has done that before.
We rested a bit and then he carried me to my bed and did it all again!
Impressive, isn’t it?
Then he fell asleep – no wonder! After a good deal of wine and two rounds of amazing sex.
I couldn’t sleep though, too many thoughts in my head.
So I had to write this to you.
What do I do, Minerva? What do I say or tell him or how do I proceed?
Right now I am on the run with an idiot I am beginning to hate rather than just dislike, I think I might be falling for this amzingly sweet and sexy guy who has had a crush on me for years, and I can’t stay with him or anything because of the mission.
I can’t just ask the guy to wait for me!
It’s a mess, Minerva, and I don’t know what will happen now.
I hope Charlie knows that right now a relationship is impossible, and I also hope that some day it will be possible.
I should get some sleep now. Goodnight. I await your answer very impatiently!
Yours truly
Tonks.
P.S. Shit! What if Severus heard me and Charlie!
P.P.S. Send books. I’m bored!
P.P.P.S. Give my love to everyone at home, I miss all of you. But don’t tell anyone about Charlie, please.
