How I Loathe Them
Chapter 2: How I Loathe Them
“Hey, you, Sexy, wake up, its 10:30” Remus’s voice invaded Tonk’s coma-like sleep.
“Remus, how many times do I have to tell-… REMUS!” Tonks said, catching sight of him, he looked a mess, his robes werrn trn to tatters and there were long scratches on his face. Tonks covered her mouth to keep from screaming obscenities “What's happened to you?” she said, opening her fingers ever so slightly to let the sound of her concerned voice slip through.
“I saw what happened to you last night, your pain. I know I caused it. I hurt myself…for you” Remus said, looking down as though ashamed of his words.
“oh my god, baby no. I had a nightmare, I dreamt you left me. It scared me, I went and got drunk in the kitchens…why am I not in the kitchens??” She said, looking around, she was in her quarters.
“Oh I hear Severus carried you up… anyway, baby you know I love you. I’d never leave you baby. I have bad dreams too. Everyone does.” Remus hugged her he held her body tight. Her hands grazed the numerous cuts and bumps on his back, he was hurt bad.
“Go to Madam Patil, you old injured fool.” Tonks said laughing
He kissed her on the cheek and left to see Padma Patil.
Tonks sat on her windowsill and stared out at the school lake she realised she was still in her pyjamas so she changed into jeans and a white shirt with the words “LOVE IS THE ONLY KILLER” scribbled in black and red writing on the front.
Tonks decided to walk, she felt like getting the energy out, but then she remembered. It was term; she had to teach in…10 minutes.
“SHIT!” Tonks hollered then she trod on her own foot and tripped over her bad as she was rushing to her first class.
“Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit…” tonk said under her breath, as she had to run back and get her robes. She was 20 minutes late to her 7th year transfiguration class
“What happened to you, you roll out of bed and roll in here?” Shauna Blanch, who was one of her smart-ass students, said which got a large snigger from the class.
“As much as I love your sarcastic wit this early in the morning Miss blanch, I would really appreciate it if you kept quiet this morning, unless you want your peers to know about the experience with the merman in the girls bathroom?” The whole class laughed at that one.
