The Hospital Wing
I hope you all have enjoyed this fic so far. Here\'s the next chapter. R&R.
He picked her up and started towards the Hospital Wing. He pushed himself,
hoping to get there before she froze to death. Several times Lily, James, or Sirius had to lift him
up to keep him going. By the time they got to the Hospital Wing he was about ready to collapse.
Madame Pomfrey came running out of her office. She looked from Lily, to James, to Sirius, to
Remus. When her eyes rested on Hermione she went as white as a ghost. \"Help her, please.\"
Remus managed to get out before he too collapsed in exuastion.
Hermione smelled something funny as she awoke in the Hospital Wing. It smelled
like rainwater fresh on the ground. She didn\'t want it to go away. Shokedoked around to find the
source of the smell. When she rolled over she spotted Professor Lupin asleep holding her
hand. \"God! He looked pretty cute back then.\" she thought. His sandy-blond hair once flecked
with gray was now bleached with blond, face once worn and haggered with lines from his
transformations was now smooth and soft with youth. She smiled sadly knowing that he will have
to face many hardships to come. Hermione snuggled up to him and smiled softly, as he slept.
She knew in that instant that this was were she belonged, this was the one man who would care
for her and love her till the day she died. Just as she would for him.
