The Snake and The Lioness

A/N: I know I haven\'t updated in awhile. I actually forgot about my story. *Shocked!Adrienne makes a shocked face* Anyway, someone was helpful enough to email me and ask me if I was going to continue my story or if that was finished or what. Well, there are still a few more chapters and an epilogue. I just have to add them. Anyway, the reviews have halted. I wonder why. That\'s why I had forgot about it. No one was reviewing, so I just stopped checking how my story was doing and if someone had something to say, so I forgot. Sorry to my loyal readers. But this is why authors like reviews. It shows that you are interested in the story and want it to continue. And from the number of hits, I assume my story is quite popular. Don\'t let it die! Review. Please.

Warning: This chapter has a small bit of bloodplay in it. It\'s not much and you probably wouldn\'t notice it if you read through, but I decided I still should tell you.

Adrienne had been feeling anxious all week. She wasn\'t sure why, but she had a feeling something exciting was going to happen. When Christian and Ron\'s team won the world cup, she was sure that was what was making her anxious and that it would stop, but she still felt that way.

She hadn\'t seen Lucius for a few days and couldn\'t wait to see him. Lucius had convinced her to quit her job. It wasn\'t like her and her brother didn\'t have more than enough money for a few lifetimes. But now Adrienne found that she had too much time on her hands.

Adrienne had been doing everything she could possibly do. Lucius had sent her on a small trip to Paris and she had just gotten back. How she loved visiting her birthplace. Adrienne had been a little sad that Lucius just sent her on a trip and didn\'t join her. She kept wondering why.

Lucius had sent her on that trip so he would have sufficent time to find her a wedding ring. Yes, he was going to propose. The search for the perfect ring had been a hard one. He had given her many rings already and now he needed one that would outshine the others.

He finally found the perfect ring at a very sedate looking store. The owner was a very round and very beautiful witch. Now, Lucius didn\'t discriminate. If he had seen her about a year ago, he would have taken her to a quiet room and shagged her, but now he was too blinded by love to even notice her.

\"Hello, my name is Chrissy. What can I do for you, Mr. Malfoy?\" The witch asked when she got his attention.

\"I\'m looking for a wedding ring. It has to be great. The best.\" Lucius said.

\"Well, we have a very large selection. I\'ll show you a few.\" Chrissy said, leading him to a room closed off from the store. \"I didn\'t know you had found a bride-to-be. Who\'s the lucky girl?\"

\"Her name will be revealed soon. I haven\'t even asked her yet. I don\'t want the whole world knowing of my embarrassment if she refuses.\"

\"I\'m sure she won\'t. If she has any brains.\" The witch stopped in front of a smoked glass case. \"These are reserved for the very important wizards and witches. Let me show you my favorite ring.\"

The witch pulled out a large silver and diamond ring. It was nice, but not what he was looking for. The witch showed him the one most people looked at when they came, but it wasn\'t right either. Finally she showed him one that was silver, in the mold of two snakes. They both had their mouths open, holding a huge emerald. Their eyes were bright rubies and there were diamonds along their bodies. It was perfect. He quickly paid for it and awaited Adrienne\'s return.

Adrienne still lived at home. Her brother had forbid her to move in with Lucius, unless they got married. Christian had been so sure Lucius would never ask. Lucius had been known to be a playboy. Shagging his way around the wizard world, but the truth was, Lucius hadn\'t had more than five partners since he left Hogwarts. That included Narcissa and Adrienne.

Adrienne showed up at Lucius\' door a few hours after he returned from the store. The evening had been cold and rainy. Lucius\' smiled to see a freezing Adrienne. Her wet hair plastered to her face and neck. Holding her cloak closed and her teeth chattering. Lucius let her in.

Dinner was great, better than usual. Adrienne was happy to have some nice home-cooked food. Made by Gordina. Adrienne ate her meal slowly. Lucius watched her take every bite. He was actually getting a bit annoyed. Why was she eating so slow, he wondered.

A few hours later, they lay tangled up in the sheets on Lucius\' bed. He had made her come many time in the span of a few hours. She would have to go away more often if this was how he would welcome her back. Adrienne smiled to herself.

Adrienne turned back towards Lucius and pushed some hair back behind his ear. Lucius, who wasn\'t really sleeping, sat up and pulled Adrienne up with him. He looked into her eyes, then reached down in his nightstand. He pulled out a small box and lifted it up to Adrienne.

\"Adrienne, you know I love you. I love waking up next to you after you get your brother\'s permisson to stay the night.\" Lucius made a joke. \"I love making love to you anywhere. I love how you open your heart to everyone. I love how you made me a redeemed man. You showed me you cared. Truly cared. More than anyone. You are so special to me and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?\"

Adrienne started sprouting tears in the middle of his speech. She wanted to say yes, but couldn\'t say anything. She took a deep breath and cleared her mind. \"Yes. Yes, I will.\"

Both of them smiled and let out sighs of relief. Adrienne studied the ring on her finger. It was beautiful. It reminded her of Lucius, not because of the snakes, but because Lucius was so beautiful. Adrienne kissed Lucius and hugged him.

\"Let\'s celebrate our engagement, Lucius.\" Adrienne said as she pulled him down onto the bed.

Adrienne pushed him down on the bed and rubbed her hands against the cool skin of his chest. He looked like an angel with his blonde-white hair spread out over the pillow. She dipped down and took his mouth with hers. She could feel Lucius harden against her leg.

She pulled herself up so that she was sitting just in front of his growing erection. She kissed him softly. Up and down his neck. Down his chest. Near his stomach. She rubbed her bum against his hardness every now and then. Teasing him like he had done to her so many times.

Finally, Lucius got tired of playing around with Adrienne. He grabbed her hips and quickly slid himself into her tight, wet channel. Adrienne almost screamed out at the abruptness of it. With all of their love making, Adrienne hadn\'t stretched much and Lucius was rather large, so it still left her with a dull ache between her legs.

Lucius watched her soft, heavy breast swing over his face. Adrienne was tall, not too round and not too skinny. Just the way Lucius liked it. Narcissa had always been too scrawny for him. He liked a little something to hold on to. Lucius stretched out his neck to catch one of her nipples in his mouth.

Adrienne threw her head back in delight. She reached out and grabbed Lucius\' shoulders for more leverage. Lucius clinched his teeth together as Adrienne started squeezing her muscles tight around him every time she lifted off of him. Adrienne screamed out as Lucius bit down on her sensitive nipple.

Lucius licked the red liquid that started to show off her breast. Adrienne looked down and saw the drops of blood on his mouth and bent down to lick it off. Then she kissed him. Lucius pried her mouth open and they swirled the blood around with their tongues.

Adrienne could feel herself starting to tighten around him. Lucius grabbed her hips tighter and pounded up into her. Adrienne leaned forward and pulled Lucius\' hair. Not hard enough to pull it out but hard enough to hurt. The pain made Lucius pound into her even harder.

Adrienne let out a loud scream of Lucius\' name. She wanted all of England to know who her wonderful lover was. Luicus let out a loud growl. Adrienne fell against him and they both listened to each other\'s hearts as they came down from their love high.

Lucius gave Adrienne a passionate kiss. Adrienne lifted herself off of him and laid down at his side. They looked into each other\'s eyes. Lucius lifted up her hand and kissed the ring he had just given her. He leaned in to give her a kiss, but she pulled back.

\"What\'s wrong?\" Lucius asked.

\"You bit me. It still hurts.\" Adrienne said pitifully.

\"Awww. Let me heal it for you.\" Lucius grabbed his wand out of nightstand and healed her abrasion. He gave her nipple a light kiss. \"Can you stay the whole night?\" Lucius asked, hoping she could.

\"No. I can\'t. You know I just got back and my brother would kill me if I didn\'t check in with him. You know how he gets.\" Adrienne answered regretfully. \"But I\'ll be here in the morning.\"

\"I won\'t be here in the morning.\"

\"Where are you going to be?\" Adriene asked. She couldn\'t help but be a bit angry.

\"I must go to the Ministry. I have to go claim some things that were left over from that raid, last year. You remember, don\'t you?\" Lucius asked.

\"Yeah. I didn\'t know they were going to give anything back. I\'m sorry for helping them take your things.\"

\"Don\'t be. Anyway, it\'s just a few things that they found out had nothing wrong with it or anything. I\'m glad. All it really is are photo albums, a few spell books, and a few family jewels. Nothing special.\"

\"Are there any pictures of Draco in those photo albums?\" Adrienne asked excitedly.

\"I guess. Why? I thought you were over him.\" Lucius said, sounding a bit hurt.

\"I am over him, but that doesn\'t mean I can\'t still miss him and love him. I mean, he was my first real love, my first lover. How can you get jealous over that? He\'s gone.\" Adrienne defended.

\"I know. But I don\'t like hearing about any other wizard who has had you. I like to think I am the only one you have ever been with.\" Lucius said posessively.

\"You pretty much are. I was only with Draco a few times. Other than that, you are my only one. And, now, that you have proposed, you\'ll always be my one and only.\" Adrienne gave Lucius a quick kiss on the mouth and scooted out of the bed. \"I better get going. It\'s almost one in the morning.\"

\"Alright.\" Lucius said sadly.

He watched as Adrienne grabbed up her pants and her jumper. She slid both pieces of clothing onto her body. She started to put on her cloak, when Lucius grabbed her by the waist and gave her a kiss. She started to lean into the kiss, wanting to get back in his bed again, but she pulled away after a minute.

\"I have to go, Lucius. Don\'t make this difficult. Call me through the fireplace when you get back and I\'ll come over. I\'ll ask my brother if I can spend the night, hopefully, he\'ll say yes. I\'m sure he will once he hears the news. Adrienne Malfoy. I like the sound of that.\" Adrienne smirked. Then she disappeared through the fireplace.
