Time is Running Out
Severus woke up the next morning with a pang of guilt, he had tried to kiss Aphrodite, actually he had kissed Aphrodite and she had kissed him back, she allowed him to advance on her. He saw her at ever mealtime during the week, she seemed to want to make eye contact or talk to him but he ignored her and only ever said hello or gave on worded answers. This was making Aphrodite very miserable, she wanted to tell him she didn\'t want to get married but every time she tried he walked away from her, he was the only one Dion was scared of or was at least wary of.
June had ended and July was well under way, it was a week till the wedding now all the female members of the faculty were busy bustling over the wedding preparations, they had dressed Aphrodite in her wedding dress and had, had several rehearsals. Severus had been watching these rehearsals with great interest, even though he wasn\'t pursuing Aphrodite as a love interest he was still taken in by her beauty, she didn\'t seem to want to play the part of the blushing bride, the sight of her sighing when she thought no one was looking played on his mind right until her wedding day.
On the morning of the wedding day Severus waited for all the others to leave Aphrodite on her own, when she was alone he knocked on her door and walked in, she was sitting in the window with her head in her hands. She had a bewitched muggle contraption and playing some kind of muggle music.
\"Aphrodite, what is that crap?\" he said mockingly
\"Severus!\" She yelled in delight \"Oh its erm Muse, Time is Running Out, its one of my fave muggle songs, the words mean allot to me\" she muttered, she started the song again and Severus listened

When the song had finished Aphrodite faced the window and looked out, Severus moved forwards and stood next to her, he didn\'t know what to say to her, there was no way he could talk her into leaving Dion to be with him, the spy would find out and inform the Dark Lord and it would be Curtains for the both of them. The songs lyrics had actually hit home for Severus, time was indeed running out in a few hours time Aphrodite would be wed to Dion, then the school year would end and he wouldn\'t see her u the the next year when she would be far more interested in Dion or maybe her best friends Remus and Sirius. Both of them stood side by side in silence until Aphrodite turned round and said she needed to get ready, Severus turned to walk away out of the room.
\"Wait, please stay, I need some form of sanity before I become centre of attention\" Aphrodite grabbed Severus by the arm and pleaded with him to stay, which he reluctantly agreed to, Aphrodite then went into the bathroom and put on her dress and charmed her hair so it pushed back, leaving a small fringe that flowed to the right of her face, her hair at the back was in light curls and reached down to the bottom of her back. When she walked out of the bathroom she was about to ask Severus what he thought of her dress but as she was about to do so but Poppy barged in and told Aphrodite it was time, Poppaggeagged her out the room and down to the Church.
The wedding was under way, everyone had turned out for the occasion, even Severus decided to watch after all the Dark Lord was supposedly going to strike, the moment came when Albus who was officiating the event asked the important questions.
\"Dionysius, do you promise to honour, worship and protect her?\"
\"I do\" Dion smiled at Aphrodite who had turned pale, and felt weak, she tried to smile back but could only manage a slight movement.
\"Aphrodite do you promise to obey, take care of and love Dion?\" All eyes turned to Aphrodite; she stood there looking at Dion and then after minutes of staling she managed to speak.
