Chapter 16:

Weeks went by Harry tried to concentrate on his studies, but to no avail. Harry was worried sick and no word was given about Erin’s whereabouts. It didn’t take long for them to discover that someone within the castle had planned the whole thing, the potion backfire, the draught of living death and eventually the kidnapping of Erin.

Harry could only think of one person behind it all, Rhys, but what contact did he have within Hogwarts. The only person he could think of that would do this to Harry would be Draco Malfoy. But Malfoy seemed to be in his own world with the upcoming betrothal. Malfoy didn’t pick on Harry in the halls or give him any indication that he even noticed his presence. It was quite unnerving.

Harry knew Erin was still alive, if she wasn’t he would surely know, right?

At Professor Dumbledore’s suggestion, Harry tried to test his bonds and see if it would give him any indication on Erin’s whereabouts or her thoughts. So far nothing he did seem to work. It was as if their magic to each other was blocked. Again, that would leave Rhys as a suspect or at least another Fae that understood the magic behind Erin.

Harry was left to worry on his own as every member of the Order of the Phoenix that wasn’t already involved with finding the other Death Eaters, were trying to find Erin. Dumbledore had already contacted Erin’s mother, Queen Heather of the Seelie court, and she too had many on her side trying to find Erin.

The search was on as Erin’s life was on the line, not only by the threat of her kidnaper but also of the bond that Harry and Erin shared. In time, Erin’s energy would drain as physical contact between them was necessary to keep them both strong and alert. The Seelie court was also nervous as Erin is the ‘heir’ to the throne and they suspected Erin’s brother, Rhys, was working with the Unseelie. And to make matters worse, it is expected for Erin and Harry to produce a child to not only secure Erin’s throne but to also complete the second part of the prophecy.

The stress was almost more than Harry could take and it showed as the dark circles around his eyes and the paleness of his skin just got worse and worse as the time went on.

Erin was getting quite bored. True to his word she was allowed to roam the estate. Even so, she still felt a bit weaker as the time went on; the result of not being with her bonded and the fact that she still had the iron necklace on.

Lucius came to see her every day and each day he seemed to get more and more ‘cozy’ with her, meaning that he looked for things to talk to her about and seemed to linger longer and longer, as if he really didn’t want to leave her alone.

He had given her a wardrobe and was treating her with kindness, leaving Erin to be even more suspicious of his motives.

Erin was becoming more and more concerned about Harry. Surely he must be worried sick about her. True she was safe at the moment, but he didn’t know that.

That next morning Erin woke suddenly. “AAHHHHH!” She screamed as she woke up next to a blond, in fact the blond was laying so close to her that half of his body was on hers. His face was obscured by his hair but she knew it was Lucius.

“What’s wrong dear?” He asked sleepy as he looked up into her face.

“You, you idiot! What are you doing here? With me, and why are you not dressed!” She shrieked as she felt his member move against her thigh.

She looked down at herself and was thankful that she was still wearing her nightgown. True it was a light blue nightgown that was cut short and reached only to her upper thighs. But any clothing separating her and this man was vital.

“You don’t remember last night?” Lucius asked as he raised himself up on his left elbow and brought his right hand up to brush the hair out of her eyes. Erin was laying flat on her back looking up at Lucius with wide, scared eyes.

“I guess I don’t.” She said softly, as she tried desperately to remember anything at all. All she did remember was taking a bath, getting into her nightgown and going to sleep. Without Lucius! She didn’t fell any evidence of sex, thankfully, but why was he in her bed nude? She tried disparately to wiggle herself free from out from under him. Eventually giving up as she was in no way capable of dislodging such a large man off her.

She huffed with frustration. “Lucius, what are you up to? I swear that I went to bed alone and yet, here you are.” Erin said as she looked at him, eyes narrow with suspicion. She was still stuck in the same position as Lucius gave no indication that he planned on moving anytime soon.

“Well, true you were asleep when I arrived. But you were so beautiful, sleeping so peacefully, that I couldn’t help but to reach out to you and touch you. You leaned into my touch and I felt drawn to you. It was then that I decided to lay down next to you and you cuddled up to ‘me’.” Lucius said casually.

“Lucius, be reasonable. I obviously thought you were someone else. I was ‘asleep’. Now please get dressed and leave.” Erin said to Lucius as if he was a child not understanding the facts and reading more into things than he should. She was willing to just ignore what had happened as long as he quietly got dressed, left her alone and not sneaked into her bed again.

He made no move to leave.

“You know what I am; you kidnapped me just to keep me away from Harry. By theory since you are a wizard and wanted to keep me away from him, then that would mean that you didn’t want me to produce a child, therefore you shouldn’t want to try to force yourself onto ‘me’. Is this true or am I not seeing all the facts?” Erin asked trying to see the logic in it all but then becoming more nervous as she wondered if there was more going on than she thought.

“That was part of it.” Lucius said as he leaned down to kiss the side of her mouth. Erin’s eyes grew even wider as she started to panic.

She was stuttering as she tried to push Lucius away again but he was too strong. “Stop right this instant!” She screamed.

“What is wrong with you!?” She shrieked again. “Stop and tell me what the hell is going on!”

“Why, love, what do you think? Why don’t we produce the child and then we can rule together. You certainly are beautiful and intelligent enough to keep me entertained for quite a while.” Lucius said as he pulled back and started to caress Erin, running his hands down her throat and slowly to her breasts.

Erin was confused. One minute she thought they were discussing the Wizard side of things and the next he is talking about her throne. What was he after?

“Stop for a minute! Why do you know so much about me? What is the throne to you anyway, you’re a wizard?” Erin was stalling for time as well as trying to understand how Lucius got involved with Fae politics as it seemed that Lucius was one for bed talk.

“Humm…How much should I tell you?” Lucius asked himself out loud rubbing himself just a little on her thigh.

“You, Erin Love, are a pawn, not only for your Seelie throne but also for the ‘side of light’, Dumbledore’s side. The Dark Lord knew of you and Harry and the need to produce a child. For what reason, he didn’t know. He did some off his own preparing just in case he couldn’t defeat Potter and I, as his right hand man, will do my part and finish what he started. You, Love, are not the only one that was bred for a reason. There is another like you who will do her part.”
