Love is a Battlefield (COMPLETE)

Suddenly looking up I remembered Lucius, Severus was awake looking down at my fallen husband. Running over I collapsed next to him holding his hand, “Lucius wake up, honey its over wake up I need you,” tears were flowing down my face as I slammed my hand down on his chest. “Damn you get up you cant be dead you cant leave me here I love you,” I laid my head on his chest wrapping my hands into his hair. Suddenly I heard it a soft beat, lifting my head up I looked at Severus. “He’s alive! Barley but I can hear his heartbeat.” Severus grasped his fallen friend lifting him into his arms as we ran back to the castle, making our way to the hospital wing where students and teachers alike were being treated for wounds.

Laying Lucius on the bed Severus stepped back engulfing me in a hug as we watched Madam Pomfrey flutter around him checking his pulse trying to figure out what curse Voldemort had hit him with. “Do you know what he was hit with?” Severus shook his head, both of us worried about what strange effects it would have. Draco came running into the room followed closely by Harry who was carrying a still Ginny. Tears were coursing down the boys face as he placed her on a bed. Draco had his arm wrapped around Harry consoling him before coming over to Severus and me. “Is it bad?” I noticed the fear in his eyes, as he looked at his father, the man he once hated. “Yes it, we do not know what curse he was hit with so we cannot heal him,” I was sobbing burying my head into Severus trying to draw off his strength as Poppy walked up saying she wanted a private word with me and Draco.

“This is bad indeed, not only is Lucius in a coma but it looks like his life force is draining slowly out of him.” I gasped collapsing into Draco who held me up. “So you mean unless we find a cure he is going to die? How long do we have?” Poppy looked at me sadly. “Only two days,” oh god how would we find a cure in that amount of time. I went to Lucius placing a kiss on his still lips before turning to Harry. He was holding Ginny close crying. Walking over I heard him whispering to her. “Oh god Ginny I couldn’t protect you how am I to go on with out looking into you shining eyes, how are Draco and I to continue without you, we both love you so much.” Understanding finally dawned on me I know knew why Draco and Harry were always together, they were an item and Ginny was part of this. Placing my hand on his back I smiled down at him. “You and Draco will continue on fine your love will prevail just as I will find a cure for Lucius cause I love him more then anything in this world.” Severus was next to me draping a hand over my shoulder. “And I will help you Kellie it is the least I can do for my friend and you.” I could tell it was hard for Severus to help me cure the only thing that stood between him and I but maybe just maybe we could figure out the cure if we worked together. Taking Harry by the arm and indicating for Draco we returned to the battlefield, it was time to help sort through the mess so we could say a final farewell to our friends and loved ones.

The last remaining death eaters were being round up as we walked out onto the field. I looked around trying to see who was still standing. Fred was kneeling next to a body tears falling down his face as I drew closer I realized it was George who had his body flung over Molly the once bouncing Weasley was dead as well. Fred looked up at me, “He died trying to protect her but it was to late.” I knew the Weasleys had been dealt a bad blow by this war. Turning I heard sobbing coming from behind me, there was Lavender holding Neville, she watched me approach tears coursing down her face. “You would of thought he would have stayed back but no he had to help,” I looked at her crying and gave a small sigh. So many dead, all because a power hungry wizard had decided to kill us all. Harry suddenly stood still next to me looking over the carnage at a lone figure. Hermione’s ghost was gliding through the wreckage she was looking for someone. When she seen us I noticed a smile appear on her face. “Oh Harry your alive! And its good to see you made it as well Kellie.” I smiled as Harry searched for words to express himself; Draco came over wrapping his arms around him. “You both look after Harry he will need you now, I was only allowed to come back for long enough to help out and say good bye.” A cold hand touched my cheek as she gave me and Harry a hug. Looking at me she smiled, “Look after the boys Kellie and that includes that husband of yours and even that moody one of mine.” Then she was gone, all that was left was Harry, Draco and I looking at a few sparkly lights. “Kellie,” I heard my name being yelled as I turned and saw Severus running towards me. “I think I know how to reverse the curse of Lucius!\"

“How?” grasping Severus’s arm I allowed him to lead me back into the castle as Harry and Draco followed us to the potions classroom. Sitting I looked at Severus curiously as he pulled out a book giving me it to read. “There that page right there, it says how to break the curse.” I was reading knowing full well that everyone was watching for my reaction and reaction I gave. “Your kidding right? That’s how we reverse the spell?” Severus nodded as Draco looked at me confused. “How Kellie?” I looked up at my friend, “there is a potion that has to be made but it is a hard one and one of the ingredients is the hardest to come across.” Draco grabbed the book out of my hands reading it, shocked filled his features. “How would you get that ingredient?” Harry was confused, “What bloody ingredient will someone tell me?” I snorted grabbing the book back off Draco and giving it to Severus. “The ingredient is the mixture of the two body fluids of the person who the victim loves and the person who is his best friend, only then can the spell be broken cause the main ingredient is absolute love.” I started laughing; everyone was watching me as if I had lost my mind.

“That asshole, in placing the curse that he did Voldemort thought he would be able to tear apart the love me and Lucius have and the friendship Severus has with him. What other way to do it then have his wife sleep with his best friend even if it is to save him he will still feel betrayed.” Severus looked at me shocked, “What makes you think I am his best friend?” The look on my face must of said a thousand things. “Oh come on Severus who else would it be, You are the only one he has stood by through all of this shit, and who else would have stood tall and proud next to him as you both protected the woman you love.” Draco had said what was on my mind. “Woman we love? And who might that be Draco,” that sneer was back on his face as Harry walked up next to Draco looking at his Potions master in disbelief. “Why its Kellie, you have wanted her ever since she first came here but because she was a student you did not wish to overstep the boundaries you were waiting until graduation but the law put a stop to that didn’t it?” Severus looked as if he could think of nothing better then to hex Draco and Harry into oblivion. “Severus it has been fairly obvious even I could see it.” The men all looked at me in shock. “Jesus I may be female but I am not stupid, fact is I feel the same way about Severus as I do about Lucius and if the roles were reversed I would do anything to help him as well.” Grabbing the book I told Draco and Harry to collect the ingredients that I knew were easy to get, once alone with Severus I indicated for him to follow me into his private rooms. I knew words would just make it awkward so I stepped forward wrapping my arms around him and placing a kiss on his lips.

Severus stood there not responding I knew he was having an inner battle, “Severus just let go please,” I ran my hand through his hair trying to get him to return my affection. I was getting quickly agitated that he wasn’t responding, just when I thought I should give up he gave a low growl, hoisting me up into his arms he carried me into his room throwing me onto the bed, muttering a spell he dismissed our clothes falling onto me claiming my mouth with his. Our hands ran over each other in a frenzy, I needed this I craved his hands, mouth on my body. The grief of the war and all we had lost took over, this would be no gentle coupling it was pure raw emotion, the emotion of us loving Lucius so much to save him that we would loose ourselves in each other. A low moan escaped my lips as his lips caressed my breast suckling my breast before suddenly biting hard, I screamed as the pain sliced through me the pleasure brought from such a barbaric act scorched me.

My nails digged into his back drawing blood as he came up over me, there was no stopping as he thrust into me, only stopping to look into my eyes, “I love you Kellie,” Between thrusts I gasped up at him, “I love you Severus,” a triumphant groan ripped from his mouth as he pumped up the tempo slamming into me, both of us panting and moaning as our emotions ripped free. I felt the pressure my body was nearly at its peak then I was gone sailing in the clouds, Severus followed after me both of us groaning and collapsing into the bed. I could feel our fluids pouring out of me, muttering a spell I magicked a vile to appear giving it to Severus as he collected our mixed fluids, we had the cure to wake my husband. Muttering a cleaning charm I stood waving my hand so my clothes were back on me. Looking at the vile I gave a small shudder, who would of thought this would be a potion ingredient, quite gross actually. I felt a hand on my side as Severus pulled me into his arms, “Where does this leave us now?” He wasn’t surprised by my question. “I don’t know Kellie and honestly I do not know if we will ever no, come Harry and Draco will be waiting for us.”

The potion took well into the night and right up to morning to brew, once done Severus and I walked up to the infirmary. Looking at Lucius I took the vile placing it to his lips pouring it down his throat. Stepping back I felt Severus wrap his arms around me as we watched waiting to see if it worked. Lucius’s eyes fluttered then opened looking at us both curiously, I giggled what a sight for the poor man to wake up to see me in his best friends arms. “Hmm do I even want to know why you have your hands on my wife Severus?”

Rushing forward I threw my arms around him only pulling back when he gave a small grunt of pain. “Easy luv, that curse I got hit with must have taken a bit out of me. How long have I been out for?” I smiled. “Only a day and night, we found the cure fairly quickly,” Lucius frowned at the blush that had appeared on my cheeks as I looked at Severus. “And pray tell me what was the cure?” Severus decided to take over for me explaining the potion leaving the main ingredient till last, I watched Lucius eye me off as he heard it all. “So how did you get the last ingredient?” then understanding appeared in his eyes, the pain that was reflected tore me into a million pieces.

“Lucius there was no other way, we had to, and we had to save you!” A sharp look from his friend silenced Lucius, “Severus can you go let Draco know I am awake, I wish to speak to my wife,” he spat out the word wife. This wasn’t meant to happen, what was wrong with him. Once alone with Lucius he indicated for me to sit next to him again. Suddenly his hand was on my neck forcing my head down close to his face, kissing me forcibly, I had just started to respond when he backed away. “Tell me Kellie, how long would you have mourned me if you would not of found a cure, would you have jumped into the sack with Severus straight away,” his voice was cold as I stared at him in disbelief. “You asshole! I only did it to save you, Severus knows I love you more then life itself, when I was in my world was it Severus I was pining over no it was you! You arrogant pure-blood asshole!” Jumping up I glared down at him.

“Is it such a bad thing that me and your best friend only wanted to save you, you get jealous over that yet when I was initiated into your fucked up Death Eater group you didn’t seem to mind him fucking me then!” I was so angry at his accusation; I most likely would of hurt him if Draco and Severus hadn’t decided to show up at that time. Looking at my flashing eyes and Lucius’s storm filled grey eyes Draco knew it had not gone well. “Glad to see your awake Father now please don’t tell me your acting like a prat.”

Lucius glared at his son. “What do you care Draco, you have your little lover boy and girl, yes I know all about your little trio.” Draco eyes flashed, the dragon was angry. “Don’t you speak about them that way, by god do not even dare to talk about Ginny that way.” Sparks were flying in the room, between Lucius, Draco and me I think Severus thought we would all explode. “That’s it all three of you sit down and shut up!” Severus had the angry schoolteacher look about him so Draco and I did just as he said seeing as Lucius was already sitting. “We should all just be thankful that Voldemort is gone and you Lucius are okay, we have lost many a good witch and wizard and its about time we were just all happy that we lived, and yes Lucius I fucked your pretty wife to save you get over it, she loves you and is with you.” Lucius stared at his angry friend before finally asking his question. “Do you love her?” Severus looked up at him then over to me. “Yes more then I can express,” Lucius looked at me. “And do you love him Kellie?” I could of lied but I thought no I should tell the truth. “Yes I do Lucius, I love him as much as I love you.” He sighed and I could see a strange pain in his eyes. “I want to speak to Severus alone,” scowling I left the room Draco right behind me, oh but there was no way I was going to miss out on what my husband had to say, standing outside the room I cast a spell allowing me to hear every word.


“You do really care for her don’t you Severus? I had a fear that if she left me for someone it would be someone closer to her age I mean look at us we are both in our forties and she is so young,” the pain in Lucius’s voice ripped into me. “You must remember Lucius she is not a seventeen year old in mind, Kellie is a woman trapped in a girls body, I envy you I have always wondered if when you went to her world what she looked like in her older form.” Lucius gave a small chuckle, “She was just as beautiful as she is now, her world was exactly like ours only there’s no magic they do not believe in it any more magic is in books, books like the one that pulled her into our world.” Severus was curious about the small talk, what did he really want to talk to Severus about. “I believe that Draco was part of a trio with Harry and Ginny I wonder how long they have been at it, how did they make it work.”

My curiosity was lifted now what was Lucius thinking of doing. “Do you think you could handle being in that situation Severus I mean I know we shared woman when we were death eaters but this is different this isn’t just some whore we use then dispose of this is the woman we love.” Oh my god he was considering all three of us being together. “I could share her with only you Lucius but could you?” Severus’s voice was strained; here was the chance for him to be with me. “I believe I could with you,” suddenly the room was blocked and I knew they had put a ward up, bugger I wanted to know what had happened. The door suddenly opened to Severus looking out at me, was I just seeing things or was there a twinkle in his dark eyes. “Come back in Kellie,” I walked in to see Lucius smiling at me. At that moment Poppy returned checking Lucius over. “I think you will be able to leave now Lucius, I will get Severus and Kellie to help you back to your rooms.” Helping my husband stand Severus and I helped him walk back to our room where we laid him out on the couch. Severus gave a small smile then left leaving me to watch my husband curiously. “Come here Kellie,” quicker then a snitch I was by his side loosing myself in his kiss, our lovemaking was hurried both of us craving each other. Afterwards we lay there naked holding each other. “I believe now that the war is over we can return to Malfoy Manor, what do you think?” I agreed yes I missed the comfort of our home; there was just not enough privacy at Hogwarts. Our minds made up we decided to leave in the morning after breakfast.
