THE DAILY PROPHET : S P E C I A L E D I T I O N
The Boy-Who-Lived Falls To Ancient Magic
Special Correspondent, Rita Skeeter
The tragedies which have ravaged our young hero have left yet another mark on this Tri-Wizard Champion’s soul. In an effort to capture that which was ripped from his grasp as a babe, young Mr. Potter, hardly more than a child himself, has now publicly made the statement that he will have a family by joining in bonding with a young woman of no significance. In regal, velvet robes, which belied his youthful innocence, Mr. Potter has been imprisoned by the whims of love before he is even old enough to be considered an eligible bachelor.
His teary-eyed, muggle born, childhood sweetheart, Hermione Granger was forced to watch in disbelief while being physically restrained by a brother of the bride. In fact, there were some 973 people in attendance, forcing cheerful smiles as they offered silent support for the boy-who-lived as he bravely faced this latest misadventure and bound himself eternally to Miss Jenavive Weasley. One can only wonder what dark wiles this witch used to weave such a powerfully ensnaring spell under the disinterested eye of Hogwarts Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. Was the conniving witch willing to go as far as consorting with those rumored to have affiliations with you-know-who? After some research, it does not seem to be outside the scope of plausibility.
The first of three Hogwarts students to be bonded in the previous two months, Draco Snape, refused to comment on either his or his classmates’ bondings. According to official school records, the young Mr. Snape and Mrs. Potter spent the summer living together at the school, supposedly. In actuality, it would appear the couple was part of the international broom-set club, as they were spotted in Australia, as well as North America. Could the former Malfoy heir’s squandering of the family fortune on the possibly engaged trollop have created the family destroying rift?
Lord Lucius Malfoy and Lady Narcissa Black Malfoy were subdued as they found themselves in the first social event of the season, which included the couples excommunicated son and his bond mate, Hogwarts Professor, Severus Snape. Also present, were a large delegation of Aurors and everybody who is anybody among Ministry officials.
Regardless of the impression given by the last minute arrival invitations, one had only to look at the splendor of last night’s Bonding Ceremony to know otherwise. The professionally tailored and coordinating ceremonial robes are but one example of proof that the ceremony was the product of several months’ worth of planning. Planning that Mr. Potter had, perhaps, intended for another young witch. This reporter has uncovered records painting quite a different picture of the previously mentioned Miss Granger. His true love’s broom-setting off to a reclusive, communal life style at a nudist colony, operating under the disguise of an endangered species colony in Eastern Europe, with his first and dearest friend, was undoubtedly a devastating blow for the gallant Mr. Potter.
In an effort to sort out this tangled web of duplicity that our beloved hero has been crushed by, hard questions must be answered. Did poor Harry turn to the red-haired seductress when spurned by this two-timing, childhood sweetheart and his two-faced best friend? Or, was it that the morally bankrupt Miss Granger skillfully manipulated and lured away from the naïve Mr. Potter by the gold digging vixen and her attention seeking older brother, so to better their standing in the Wizarding world?

Harry Potter Marries True Love of Six Years
Special Correspondent: Luna Lovegood Photographer: Colin Creevey
In a carefully coordinated, but surprise ceremony during the night, Harry Potter was bound to his first and true love, Ginerva Weasley. The couple’s ceremonial roves were crafted of velvet and silk by Madam Malkin and presented as separate gifts. The Bonding rites were administered by Hogwarts Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. Serving as witness on behalf of Mr. Potter was Hogwarts professor, Minerva McGonagall. Consenting family members for Miss Weasley were her older brothers, Fred and George Weasley, Esquires, Owners of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, Int’l. With her brothers serving in such a capacity, Miss Weasley’s parents, Arthur and Molly Prewett Weasley, were afforded the rare opportunity to stand as official witness to their daughter-in-minority’s bonding, allowing their magical signatures to join with those of Madam McGonagall and Warlock Dumbledore in uniting the bond. Mr. Potter’s second official witness was former Hogwarts professor, Remus Lupin, who suffers from Lycanthropy. This affliction was the catalyst for the selection of Hogwarts as the ceremonial site.
Three years ago, due to the Tri-Wizard Tournament, Hogwarts was classified as international in territory and sovereignty. This allowed visiting students to continue with their education while on Hogwarts premises. While this has had no major effects on the school, the ruling was much appreciated during the planning for this ceremony. Under current Ministry policies, a person with Lycanthropy is prohibited from serving as an official witness for any ceremony, a right which under international law is protected.
The colors selected the bonding were: Green, to represent growth; purple, to insure fertility; red, to signify a passionate love; and black which denotes protection. The metal selected for use was copper. The Potters have foregone the traditional family crest fan will commission one which incorporates the Gryffindor, Potter, Prewett, Weasley, Black and Lupin crests.
We here at The Quibbler wish to extend our congratulations and best wishes to Harry and Ginerva Weasley Potter as they embark on the new journey of a life together. Trust, respect, and Serve in all ways, for always.
