What Is This Feeling?

Chapter 13: Now's the time


The next morning Mitch woke up and changed into her black tank top and red running shorts. She smiled as she saw Hermione still sleeping she didn't want to wake so she grabbed her running shoes and ipod and slipped out of the room.

"Morning," Draco said as he was coming out of his room. Mitch turned around and smiled, "Morning," she said as she walked over to the couch and started to put on her shoes.

"Where you off to this early?" Draco asked as he tried to hide a yawn.

"Going for a run, care to join?" she asked as tied up her shoes then jumped up from the couch and started to warm up a little bit.

Draco looked outside it was still a little dark he was going to the Slytherin common room to check up on Pansy and Jessie; Harry and Ron were gonna meet him by the kitchens so that they could get some coffee.

"I'll pass," he said with a smile, "Does Hermione know where you're goin?" he asked as they both started to walk out of the common room.

"I left her a note to let her know if I'm not back before she wakes up."

"Why are you gonna run while it's still dark?"

"Why are you up so early?"

They both looked at each other then laughed.

"I like to run it helps me clear my mind," she answered

"I'm meeting up with Ron and Harry about Pansy and Jessie," he answered.

She nodded, "Thank you Draco that means a lot to me," she said with a smile.

"Don't worry we'll take care of it the dance isn't to far away and you will have a great time," he said trying to cheer up his friend.

"I better get out there I think the guys are out there but let me know if you find out about anything with those two," she said as they reached the castle doors.

"I will enjoy your run," he said as he watched her go out of the castle doors and on to the grounds.

Harry and Ron were in the kitchens drinking some coffee.

"It's too early for this shit," Ron said as he yawned, and Harry just nodded. They were waiting for Draco so that they could go to the Slytherin common room to meet up with a girl that got the potion from Jessie and Pansy. The two were on their third cup of coffee and it wasn't helping too much. Harry was trying to figure out why Jessie wanted Mitch so bad. He didn't know if it was because she was just obessed or if she just wanted Mitch because Mitch might be famous some day.


Ron was sleeping on the small table with drool coming out of his mouth.


Harry started to wake up slowly trying to put the pieces together, there was something off about Jessie. How did she get here? Why is she still going after Mitch? How come Mitch? Why is she here? All these questions have been running through his head since Jessie came into the picture he wanted answers and he wanted them now.


Draco walked in and rolled his eyes at Ron and walked over to them and poured himself a cup of coffee.

"Morning Harry," he said

"Morning Draco,"

"Still not awake yet,"

"After three cups of coffee he's still sleeping,"

They both shook their heads and Draco told Harry that the girl would meet them in the Slytherin common room. He was going to signal her and the she would come out of her hiding spot and give him the ingredinets. Harry nodded and told him that he hoped the potion was nothing serious.

Mitch walked outside and saw her boys all getting ready for a run.

"Forgot you guys were here for a second," she said as he came up to them and they all laughed and they each gave her a hug. They said morning to each other and talked about where they wanted to run. After a few minutes of talking about their path they were going to take they decided to go along the lake then end it with a sprint up to the castle doors. Mitch put her ipod in her pocket since she wouldn't be running alone like she thought she was. They all walked over to the edge of the lake and began to jog.

Ron finally woke up to the smell of food, Draco and Harry just laughed when he shot up and smelled the food. They had some breakfast and some more coffee and this time Ron was fully awake. After they ate they thanked the house elves then left the kitchens and followed Draco to the Slytherin common room. It was still early so no one notices that two Gryffindors were in the Slytherin common room.

Draco whistle twice and a girl that was in their year came out from behind a couch and walked over to them.

"Here's the potion you asked for," she said as she handed Draco a small piece of paper.

"Thanks Emma, I owe you one," he said with a wink and a smile.

"Anytime," she said and she walked back up to the girls dorm.

Draco read the potion and his heart sank. It wasn't just any love potion, this potion made the person listen to the creator's every demand. It wans't a love potion it was a controling potion a complitcated one. He didn't understand how Pansy and Jessie could make such a potion.

"Draco what is it?" Harry asked. When Draco didn't answer he took the piece of paper from Draco's hands and read the ingredients and his jaw dropped. "The bitch!" he said out loud.

"I think we need to go," Draco said as he started to walk out, Ron and Harry followed.


Once out of the common room Draco led them to the Room of Requirement. When they were inside they sat down at the table that appeared and there was silence as Ron finally read the potion. "How could they make something like this?" he asked after reading it and placed it on the table.

"We have to go to Snape maybe he can make an antidote if Mitch does happen to drink it," Draco suggested.

"I agree it's still early maybe we should go now," Harry said.

"Let's wait til after dinner this is a serious potion and if we tell him the girls will be expelled for sure," Draco mentioned.

The two boys nodded and they all sat there still talking of what they were going to do.

Meanwhile Mitch and her friends were sprinting up to the castle doors she was leading like always and Mike was right behind her. Once she reached the doors everyone else came up behind her.

"Mike you're getting closer every time," she said as she tried to control her breathing.

He just nodded and placed his hands on his head along with the others. After a few more moments they all got their breathing under control. They all started to talk about the dance and how they need to hold rehersal for it and get their sets all squared away. Kelesy suggested they meet in the Room of Requirement that night and practice their sets and everything. Everyone agreed and they walked into the castle and headed their seperate ways. Mitch told them that they would see them at breakfast; she was almost to her dorm when Pansy crossed her path.

"You're a bitch you know that," Pansy said to her.

Mitch just laughed, "You call me a bitch?" she asked.

"Yeah can't you see how much Jessie loves you and wants to be with you?"

"Um no the only reason she wants to be with me is because of what I have in the bank right now and who I'm related to,"

"What are you talking about?"

"I made something of myself when my father left and now that I have something she wants it all to herself," and with that she brushed past Pansy and walked towards her dorm. Pansy stood there confused she didn't know who to believe after a minute or so she left and started to head down to the Great Hall.

Mitch walked into her room and smiled when she saw Hermione come out of the shower and she was wrapped in a towel. She walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around her, "Good morning beautiful," Mitch whispered softly in her ear. Hermione leaned back into Mitch's embrace, "Morning," she said softly and turned around and wrapped her arms around her neck.

"You're sweaty," Hermione said with a small laugh.

"Yeah I went for a run with the guys,"

Hermione nodded and looked Mitch up and down, "What's wrong baby?" she asked she never saw Hermione look at her like that.

"You're just so sexy right now," Hermione answered.

"Ooo really and how sexy am I?" Mitch asked as she started to gently kiss the other girl's neck.

"I don't know," she said in a whisper as she pulled Mitch closer to her.

Mitch picked her up and gently placed her on the bed. Hermione was still wrapped in her towel but she could care less about anything right now. All she knew was with just one touch from Mitch she looses all self control.

Mitch started to kiss her slowly taking her time with her, she didn't want to rush her into anything or scare her away.

Hermione pulled her closer she wanted to feel her against her but she didn't know if she was ready or not. She felt Mitch's soft hand softly caress her leg and was slowly coming up to her smooth skin on her stomache. She moaned at the touch and pulled the other girl closer, but it felt like it wasn't close enough.

Mitch started to lightly kiss her neck and ever so slowly unwrap Hermione's towel. She felt Hermione's hand come up and stop her. "Okay, okay we'll stop," Mitch said softly as she kissed the other girl's forehead and sat up.

"I'm sorry, I'm just not ready," Hermione whispered

"It's okay baby really I understand, when you're ready you're ready I'm not gonna force you to do something you're not ready to do," Mitch said with a small smile she didn't want to pressure Hermione into anything.

She knew she wanted to take it slow and she would respect that and just let it be until Hermione decides she's ready.

"I'm gonna go ahead an take a shower I'll be right out," she said with a smile and gently kissed Hermione's lips then grabbed a towel and walked into the bathroom closing the door behind her.

She stood in front of the mirror after turning on the water in the shower. She looked up and screamed and punched the mirror making it crack.

Hermione was just finishing getting dressed when she heard Mitch scream and then loud crashing coming from the bathroom. She rushed over to open up the door but it was locked with a simple "Alohomora" the door unlocked and she rushed in only to find Mitch in the corner of their bathroom with her knees pulled up to her chest. Her bloody hands on top of her head and tears running down her face.

Hermione slowy walked over to her and kneeled down she was going to ask if she was alright but she heard Mitch say, "He's here, he's here, he's here," over and over again. Before she could ask who she saw Draco standing in the doorway, "Go get Dumbledore," Hermione told him and with out another word Draco rushed off to get the headmaster.

Mitch couldn't believe she saw his face the one person who she thought was out of her life for good is back. She didn't want him back but he was and now's the time for her to end it once and for all.

Hermione sat with her until Dumbledore came and he took one look and knew what happened, "Miss Granger could you meet me in my office I will make sure Riley will be treated," he said softly he didn't like seeing his great granddaughter like this at all.


Hermione nodded and left the dorms walking towards the headmaster's office when she saw Mike walking by. Wanting to know what's going on with Mitch she stopped him.

"Hey Mike," she said and he stopped and nodded, "Hey Hermione,"

"I need to ask you some questions about Mitch," she said nervously

"Fire away," he knew she would ask one of the boys sooner or later.

"Well one, how bad is her temper?"

"It all depends on what happens normally not too bad she just goes silent,"

"Okay, does she have any anger problems?"

"Yeah she does but she's seeing a therapiest about it and it's going really well,"

"Has she ever hit anyone?"

"Only when she's in a fist fight but if you're talking relationship wise she has never laid a finger on a girl the wrong way,"

"What's the story with her dad?"

"Now that one I can't answer only she can,"

"Why?"

"It's not my story to tell trust me," he said softly and walked away.

Hermione stared after him confused now more than ever.
