Severus Snape returned home after another fruitless search for his wife who was kidnapped by his step-son. It was so stupid of him to let down his guard now he lost the only woman he loved. Hermione warned him once that his lack of compassion would be his downfall and it appeared that her prediction had come true. He did not mean to hurt Anna or her child he lost control of himself. Anna tried to get away from him and she fell down the stairs. He took her to a private hospital and did not tell her son anything.
Now his beloved was gone probably dead, or will be soon enough. If it wasn’t for his child he would gladly follow his beloved witch to the grave. It is strange how the fates work. He always envisioned being a father with Hermione born of their deep love for one another, not with a woman he considered his best friend in a moment of dark desperation. He would be a better father that he never had growing up. He went to bed, sat on the edge wondering what Hermione was dreaming of at this moment and if she being taken cared of

Hermione was sitting in the dining room sipping the last of her tea. Tonks had just left after they had gone shopping for shoes for the bridesmaids. Tonks left almost immediately most likely to avoid getting in the middle of another fight between this time between Ginny and her mother over her involvement with Sirius Black. The subject of Sirius used to be a welcome one, now all it did was remind her of her nightmares. Hermione was tired of the fear; It was time that her husband knew what was going on, he would know what to do.
