The Good, the Bad and the Death Eater

Hey All welcome to my first ever Fan Fiction, most of the characters are not mine no matter how much I would love them to be. The only character that is mine is Aphrodite Taylor, she is mine all mine, he he. Hope you enjoy.


He\'d been waiting for Sybil to turn up for about half an hour, when she did turn up she seemed a bit preoccupied, not that he cared, it just meant she wasn\'t going to tell him he was going to die in the next three hours. They spent an hour in an almost silence walking around Hogwarts, they had only spotted Potter and some girl in the bushes, how Severus took pleasure in taking house points off him.

\"Severus, she\'ll come back to you, you know\" Whispered Sybil, a bit random Severus thought and he stared at her in confusion.

\"Who will come back to me?\" he quizzed her politely despite his lack of enthusiasm for Divination.

\"The girl you sought after, Aphrodite, she\'s special that one, trust me there\'s something about her...\" her rant was cut short.

\"I know she\'s special! I know there\'s something about her..well actually few things, she wont be coming back to me simply because she was never with me!\" he snapped, he didn\'t want a discussion on Aphrodite.

\"Severus, Do you know what Aphrodite means?\" she asked him, ignoring his snappy tone

\"Yes,! Aphrodite was the greek goddess of Love and Beauty, why?\" he asked raising an eyebrow

\"There you are then, she doesn\'t really love Dionysius, we all know that, you scared her when she first came, all the staff think you and her would make a better couple then her and Dion do, even Remus and Sirius think so\" Another one of Sybils rants seemed to have started, Severus just took what she had said into account. After a while of walking around they decided to go look in on the ball. Apparently Dumbledore quite enjoyed muggle music so this ball had muggle music.

Severus spied Aphrodite and Dion dancing along to Dido, one of Aphrodite\'s favourite muggle songs, Sybil said she didn\'t really love Dion, from what Severus could see Sybil couldn\'t be more wrong, Aphrodite was wearing her black dress \'shame she isn\'t wearing her white dress she looked absolutely sensational\' in that thought Severus. He watched Dion leave her side, she turned and spotted Severus looking at her, so she walked over towards him, Severus felt him ach ach do somersaults.

\"Heya Severus, are you all right?\" she said brightly

\"Yeah, never better\" He replied sarcasticly, she noted the sarcasm and put her hand on his arm.

\"Fancy a dance? Seeing as we didn\'t do too much dancing at the Yule Ball\" She asked, he almost said yes but then he saw Dion come back in and decided it would be for the best if he didn\'t.

\"Nah its ok, I don\'t think he\'d be too happy\" he nodded his head in the direction of a fast approaching Dion. She smiled, it seemed to be a fake smile, Dion scowled at Severus and dragged Aphrodite away. Severus watched them dance again for a while, then he felt his left arm burn, it wasn\'t the usual burning feeling he got when Voldermort wished to see him. He looked over and saw Aphrodite all alone, he walked over to her to ask her why she looked upset.

\"He was in pain and then said he couldn\'t be arsed to stay, then he left me alone\" she said trying not to get upset, Severus put his arm around her.

\"Right, how about that dance now?\" She nodded and he led her to the dance floor, he put on arm on her waist and one on her shoulder, she had her arms wrapped around his waist and her head on his shoulder. Severus had been longing for this moment for a while, even though he couldn\'t have her he wanted to be able to touch her and to feel her close to him, he suddenly felt himself getting aroused by her just being there, of all the things to happen this was not what he had planned. When the song ended he decided to go to his room.

\"Excuse me Aphrodite, I\'m not feeling to well, I\'m going to retire to me room\" He said, he did sound exhausted thought Aphrodite. They said their goodbyes and off he went, rather quickly aswell. Aphrodite however knew the real reason why he had gone, but she chose not to say anything to avoid embarrassing him.

After spending some time in his room cooling off, Severus pondered about Dion, he had a gut feeling he was cheating on Aphrodite, he decided to go and find out what he was upto. He decided to take a trip past the owlry and on his way he bumped into Sybil.

\"Good god woman! you scared me!\" He yelled

\"Sorry Severus\" she tried not to seem offended by his yelling.

\"It\'s ok, you haven\'t seen Dion about have you?\" he enquired

\"No, but there\'s more to him then meets the I c I consulted my crystal ball, he\'s dangerous, keep an eye on him Severus, I fear the worst for Aphrodite\" she said with a warning sort of tone. Severus nodded and bided her goodnight, he carried on strolling towards the owlry, when he reached there he saw Dion reading a letter, he didn\'t look ok, something had obviously startled him. Severus walked in and greeted him, Dion jumped up and scowled at Severus, he put a letter in his pocket and walked out the owlry leaving Severus on his own, but Severus had spotted the letter in his pocket.

\"accio letter\" he saiietlietly so Dion couldn\'t hear him, he quickly went back to his rooms and opened up the letter and began to read.
