On A Mission

Hermione studies for days on end. It took all her concentration and thought to change into

the animal her mind had chosen. After three months she had mastered it, \"Ha beat that

James and Sirius.\" she thought to herself after she completed it. The next full moon wasn\'t until

another three weeks! bummer! Hermione picked up her book and started to walk away, \"Where\'s

your little boyfriend? Didn\'t he want to come and play too?\" said a oily voice from the shadows. A

high pitched giggle filled the air, \"Yah i bet he was just to busy studying for you.\" Hermione swung

around angrily, \"That\'s not true!\" More laughter, \"Well then where is the little savior now?\"

Hermione suddenly felt scared but didn\'t show it, a boy with silver blond hair came out of the

shadows,\"Draco?\" she whispered to herself, \" Oh come now Lucius let\'s let the mudblood have

some fun to.\" said a girl behind him \"Narcissa.\" she thought. \"Shit i am so dead.\" she had a

defiant glare on her face. \"Where is my dear cousin? Auntie is very upset with him making friends

with mudbloods and all.\" Hermione felt a sudden rush of hatred, \"At least he has a sense of

loyalty and friendship which is more than what you three can say!\" she yelled to them. The air

became full of tension, \"So the Mudblood does have a backbone, almost gave up on you there.\"

snapped Snape. Hermione wanted to cause him as much pain as he caused her, she whipped out

her wand and was about to cast an unforgivable when, \"Ms. Granger that is enough.\" Dumbledore

appeared out of nowhere. Hermione lowered her wand and continued to glare at them, \"As for the

rest of you 60 point from Slytherin each for calling Ms. Granger a nasty name, now return to your

common rooms before more points are taken away from you!\" They scampered away and

Hermione turned to leave, \"Where do you think you\'er going?\" he asked her. She froze at the

stairs, \"Um... to bed?\" she asked hopefully. Dumbledore laughed, \"Nope try again lets go to my

office for a while shall we.\" He lead the way to the gargoyal (sp?) \"Honeydukes.\" They went inside,

he offered her a seat and leaned against the desk, \"So your from the future aren\'t you.\" he said

to her, she nodded knowing if she lied he d bed be able to tell. \"Do you remember your mission?\"

She looked up, \"Oh shoot! because i had been so wrapped up in Remus i forgot my mission!\" she

shook her head slightly. He smiled at the women next to him knowing that she missed the whole

point of the mission but still completed it, \"Hermione, you\'ve completed it.\" she looked up at the

man infront of her who would one day become her professor, \"But how sir?\" Dumbledore took a

breath. \"Hermione, You and Remus, you two became very close over the past year haven\'t you?\"

he said, she turned diffrent shades of red, \"Yes sir.\" \"And if i am not mistaken he proposed to you

am i right?\" she nodded, \"but you refuse.\" Hermione felt worse than ever, if there was one person

in her life she didn\'t want to hurt it was Remus, \"No sir i just think that we should consider it.\"

Dumbledore looked at her with sympathy, \"Do you love him?\" \"sir?\" she asked in surprise \"Do you

love Remus?\" She nodded \"With all my heart.\" \"Then what\'s stopping you from the one future

you\'ve always desired? To have a family.\" Hermione thought on this, \"well it\'s just I\'ve screwed up

time way to much already, and Harry and Ron still need me.\" Dumbledore considered this, \"yes

this is true, but what do you want to do?\" Hermione hung her head \"I want to be married.\" she

said quietly. He nodded. \"Then you get married just... bring Harry and Ron to the wedding.\" he

said with a twinkle in his eye. As Hermione left the room she pulled out her time-turner, \"2004.\"

she said and in the flash of bright light she dissapeared.
