During lunch I found a piece of paper on my plate saying: Miss Granger, I’ll pick you up around 2 this afternoon at your room. With approval of the headmaster you can join me on my trip. –Professor Snape-- My heart made a little jump. Since a few days I discovered that I shared the same passion with the professor, reading and potions. This could turn out in an interesting trip. I finished a quick lunch so I could prepare myself for our trip. Since it was half December and it was very cold outside. I decided to wear some of my warmer robes with a long dress underneath. I was finishing my ponytail as somebody knocked on the door. ‘On time as always’ I thought as I looked at my clock that said 2. I opened the door and greeted him nicely. “Good Afternoon Professor. How nice to see you on time here.” I teased him. He looked wonderful. As usual he wore black robes and above them he wore a nice black cloak. His hair was strapped in a ponytail as well. “How else could I take points off Gryffindor for being late if I’m not on time myself?” he said with a smile on his face.

When we stepped outside I was looking for some kind of vehicle to escort us to the train to get to London. As Snape must have noticed the confusion on my face he took my hand and said “Hold on”.
Suddenly it looked like we were in a tunnel or something. Everything was spinning. Before I knew it we were standing in front of the Leaky Cauldron at Diagon Alley. “What-was-that?” I stuttered towards Snape. “That my love is called apparating.” He smiled “Congratulations, you didn’t throw up on your first time.”
He let out a little laugh as I raised my eyebrow. “Come on Miss Granger, we have some shopping to do…”

Hours passed by and both Hermione and Snape had visited a lot of shops at Diagon Alley. Most of the day they had spend together in book stores. Hermione asked Snape a lot of questions about Potions and Advanced Potions. The fact they were a match in their intelligence surprised him. As the day ended he was pleased because he had found all of his ingredients. As they walked together to the Leaky Cauldron he turned around. “Hermione, when you were at Madam Malkins for a new robe, I bought you something…” he blushed and gave her a huge package. Hermione didn’t know what to say. They both took place on a little wall in front of the Leaky Cauldron. She opened the package. It was a book: Advanced Potions trough the Centuries. “Oh Severus, it’s lovely !! Just what I need for my assignment.” He blushed even more as she hugged him.

“Are you ready?” he said to her as he took her hand again. She knew this was the sign for apparating again so she grabbed his hand and nodded ‘yes’. A few minutes later they stood in front of the huge gate of Hogwarts. Snape grinned as he noticed Hermione was still holding his hand as they walked upwards to Hogwarts.

I was touched by the way Snape acted around me the whole day. He showed a complete different way of acting around people. The fact that he had given me the book had made my day. I felt so close to him. As we walked to Hogwarts I just didn’t want to let him go. He had made me feel like a real woman that day and I was grateful for it. We stopped in front of the huge door of Hogwarts. Snape looked me straight in the eye. “You know..” he started “as we walk in we have to let go.” I was disappointed “Yes I know. But then again, we will always have the weekends.” I winked at him trying to make the both of us feel better. He gave me a little smile. At this point it started snowing. Snape put his arm around me. We both watch the snow for a little while.

Snape enjoyed his moment with Hermione. It was a long time ago since he was this happy. The fact that she was almost always optimistic made it even more magical for him. He pulled her closer to him as they both watched the first snow.

I felt his grip was tighter and I had to admit that I enjoyed it. “Hermione..” he whispered and he took me in his arms. Our faces came closer when suddenly .. “Ah there you are, we were looking for the both of you…” it was Professor Dumbledore. Snape had a little blush on his face and with a straight voice he said “Can we help you headmaster?”

Professor Dumbledore needed Severus for some help in the infirmary. Apparently some of the first years were trying to make a new duel club like the one we had in our second year. Some of them had bumps all over their body’s not to mention what others had. Snape gave me a stroke in the face when Dumbledore went back inside. “We will finish this soon” he smiled and rolled his eyes when Dumbledore called him again.

As I walked back to my room I had a nice feeling in my stomach. Nobody could get me in a bad mood. I decided to do some reading so I walked to my room. Just before I wanted to enter I bumped into Malfoy. Since we did our fight together against Voldemort he was friendlier then before. “Evening Granger, how are things hanging” he asked me with a little grin on his face. “Great as always.” I smiled. “Good for you… well see ya..” he said while passing me.

When I opened the door of my living room I let out a little scream. Harry and Ron who were in the neighborhood came running in. “Mione are you ok” Harry shouted. The both of them had the same puzzled look on their faces as I.

The whole room was filled with roses of all kinds. On the background played some soft music. “Sjees Mione, this man must really love you.” Ron said. I walked to my desk where I found a letter:

My angel,
Days are passing, but my love for you remains. Nothings too good for you, even these roses can’t express how I feel for you.
Soon we will see each other again.

Love Your Fox

My mystery man had made another move again.
