“So Hermione have you slept with him yet?”

Hermione looked at her best friend Ginny strangely. “Um Gin sweetie, you know I have how else did I have my two kids.”

Ginny looked a little shocked for a second before she started to laugh so hard that she had to lay down on the floor. “That is not what I meant and you know it. Have you have Snape had sex since he asked you to marry him?”

“Nope I told him that we were going to wait until our wedding night. He wasn’t happy about that, but he did agree to it. I just want our wedding night to be perfect and the times we did have sex they were great, but this time we will be married.”

Hermione got up from her seated position on the floor to go to her son whom she just stared at. She couldn’t believe that two months has passed since his birth and he was getting so big. Picking up her son she turned back to Ginny. “So is Harry throwing a fit that he has to wear dress robes to the wedding?”

Ginny laughed “Yeah he is, the big baby and so is Ron he is in a bad mood all the time now, because Laurie left him and now he is raising their two kids all by himself.”

“I never did like Laurie very well she seemed kind of flaky”

Ginny smiled evilly “Mum told her that she was no longer welcome in her kitchen, ever since she was trying to control how mum cooked.” The two of them laughed for a while about the stories they had about Ron’s ex-wife.

Severus found them sitting on the floor pouring over muggle bridal magazines an hour later and he made a beeline to his son. “Oh my poor son have you been traumatized by all this female talk?” He grinned at his future wife when she stuck her tongue out at him. “See son your mummy is being childish. Shame on her.” All Gabe did was drool onto Severus’s shoulder. “Alyson decided to play with Uncle Albus while he was here visiting so Dumbledore said he would bring her back home when he was ready to leave and I thought I would come get this little man for some quality father/son time. I have a couple errands to run, but I will be back before his next feeding.” He leaned down to kiss Hermione and after waving bye to the ladies he left the room with Gabe over his shoulder.

“They are so cute together.” Hermione sighed

“Yeah Snape turned out being a better man then anyone would have thought.”

“You know I will agree with you on that, I love that man, but when we were in school he was just a plain old jerk. His students are still trying to get over the shock of Severus being a daddy. A couple days ago I needed to go to Hogsmeade to run a couple errands during my free period so I walked into one of his classes gave him a kiss and handed him Gabe, all of the students just stared in shock.”

Ginny laughed “I bet most of the Slytherins are calling it a betrayal that their head of house is marrying the head of Gryffindor.”

“Ginny look at this one” Hermione said suddenly, pointing to a wedding dress she just found in the magazine. They were tearing pages out of the magazines when Severus walked into the apartment with both kids.

“You two are still doing that?” He asked and rolled his eyes.

“We can stop now if you take us to dinner.” Hermione smiled

“Sure its dinner time in the Great Hall.” Severus answered with a grin and they all laughed and headed downstairs to dinner.

“Hermione, what is it with you and those magazines?” Severus asked.

Hermione just smiled “Well before I was searching for my dress and now that I found that I am searching for lingerie.”

“You mean you can buy that stuff from magazines?”

“Yep and I think you will like what I bought.” She grinned at him.

“Why don’t we go into the bedroom and you can describe them to me in detail.”

Hermione laughed at him “Sorry handsome, but you need to wait six more weeks.”

“Any chance I can change your mind?” He asked while he kissed her neck making her sigh.

Just when she was about to change her mind and pull him into the bedroom. Gabe let out a wail. Hermione snickered at Snape when he started to hit his head against the wall. “Son you are supposed be supportive of me getting the woman.” Severus called to his son who was now happy in his mum’s arms.

“Ah, but Severus now our son has the woman.” Hermione laughed at her future husband.

“Mummy, can I play in my pretty new dress?” Alyson asked coming out of her room with her flower girl dress on.

“Alyson I already told you that you can’t wear that dress until mummy and daddy gets married.”

Alyson crossed her arms and stuck out her bottom lip. “Fine” she said and stomped away
to her room.

“Oh she is going to be so much fun as a teenager.” Hermione said with a sarcastic smile.

Six weeks passed quickly with wedding plans and soon it was the evening of July 15.

The sun had just set, small fairy lights floated in the air releasing soft light onto the wedding party. Hermione had walked down the aisle watching her future husband the whole time and he too watched Hermione as she came towards him. When she took his hand he felt that his world was finally complete. Albus Dumbledore performed the ceremony tears in his eyes as he watched two former students and two professors join each other in a marriage that he knew would last for all time.

“I am now proud to introduce Mr. and Mrs. Severus Snape.”

“Yay” Alyson yelled “We are a family.”
