Olympe Maxime set up a safe house at Beauxbaton. Large ships could be seen on moonless nights, mooring off the Breton coast of France to discharge their passengers in row boats the size of muggle yachts. George speculated the vessels were the work of goblins.
Hagrid became a reliable source for news as he’d “seen ’em angry. They say the Ministry’s tricked ’em. No such thing as a good wizard ‘cept Dumbledore and Hermione. Thieving liars — that’s what they say about the rest.
“And Molly’s meddlin’ i’n’t helpin’.”
