Ok, here is what you’ve all been waiting for and have been so good with helping me with: the first wedding.
This wedding is Andie and George’s wedding, and I apologise in advance for the masses of fluff in this chapter, but it had to happen sooner or later.
Some little points I should make before this chapter gets underway.
If there is a visual to go with the story, I will give you the website address at the end of the chapter.
At the end of the chapter I will explain where the vows came from.
For this wedding, I have decided to use kiwigirl’s idea of a garden wedding. Thus this chapter is dedicated to her, my most persistent and consistent reviewer.
Hope you enjoy it.
Let the fluff commence!

George’s eyes opened slowly and he wanted to die. It had been his stag do last night and he was now in the third circle of hell.
Draco and Percy walked into the room, loudly, making George’s head pound.
“Come on little brother, time to get up. You’re getting married today,” Percy said, flopping down on the bed, making George groan.
“No, I’m dying. I’m a glutton and should be punished,” George moaned, burrowing further under the covers.
Draco smirked evilly and stood upon the bed. He stood still for a moment, waiting until George poked his head out to see what he was doing. Draco then proceeded to jump on the bed, jostling George.
Suddenly, George bolted from the bed and into the bathroom. Draco flopped down onto the bed and smirked the Percy as they heard George throwing up. Harry poked his head round the door.
“Ah, he’s up then,” Harry stated simply, a smirk gracing his face. “They’re here.”
George emerged from the bathroom. “I wanna die.”
“You die and Andie will bring you back to castrate you, and then kill you again,” Arthur said from behind Harry.
He handed his son a hangover potion. George gulped it down in one, relief apparent on his face as the potion started to work.
“Ok, let’s do this,” Harry said as George opened his eyes fully.
*****************
Andie sat on the window seat in her room, looking at the house elves preparing the garden for her wedding.
Molly and Hermione walked into the room, their arms full of dresses in protective wrappers. Fleur trailed after them, her arms full of hair and make up paraphernalia. Lily was last of all, dwarfed by mountains of flowers.
They put down their bundles and proceeded to set up the room for the wedding preparations. James, Albus and Scorpius rocketed into the room and launched themselves at Andie.
“When did you three arrive?” she said, smiling at the boys in her arms.
“Just now. Uncle Neville brought us. He helped dad and Lucius with the rare flowers you wanted,” Albus said.
Ron appeared in the doorway. “Come on boys, your dad’s are waiting for you. We all have to start getting ready,” he said, smiling at Andie.
Albus and James rushed away, keen to follow directions. But Scorpius stayed seated on Andie’s lap, like he did when he was younger. She motioned to Ron to go, that she would send him along in a moment.
“What’s up my little scorpion?” she asked.
“You love Gorge right?”
“Yes. I love him very much.”
“I just don’t want anyone else to hurt you.”
“Honey, George won’t hurt me. Your dad and grandpa won’t let him. Besides, George is a good man. He’s not like Vasili. He won’t hurt me.”
Scorpius nodded, satisfied with that answer. He trotted out of the room after his companions.
“Well, let’s get this show on the road shall we?” Molly said, clapping her hands together.
**********************
Harry slipped from George’s room. He stood in the doorway of Andie’s room, watching Hermione wind exotic pale pink blooms into Andie’s tumbling curls.
Lucius wrapped his arms around Harry’s waist. “Think they’ll be happy?” Harry asked.
“Andie and George?” Lucius said.
Harry nodded.
“They’ll both probably be ecstatic and give us twelve grandchildren.”
Harry smiled at the thought of Malfoy/Weasley babies toddling around the manor. “I think I could handle that.”
“Good. Now, if you’re done watching her get ready, we should be greeting guests.”
*************
George stood under the oak tree in the Malfoy gardens, waiting. The wedding was about to start, with one small thing missing: the bride.
George wasn’t worried, she was only five minutes late. That was normal right? For the bride to be late, it was normal.
After another fifteen minutes, George was ready to punch Percy to go and find Andie.
***********************
The garden had been decorated by the elves as a gift to Andie, a celebration of their princess getting married. There were roses everywhere, and, just under the oak tree that was in the middle of the garden, was an archway made entirely out of black roses.
The chairs, arranged in a semicircle around the arch, had been draped with ivy, a symbol of a lasting marriage. There were fairies floating amongst the decorations, awaiting the time to light up and honour one of the children of the trees.
The aisle was a simple bed of rose petals, almost white. They were enchanted to stay put throughout the ceremony, and then they would float in and around the guests.
***********************
Just as George was being restrained by Harry, Percy and Draco, Lily started to walk down the aisle, trailing vivid pink blossoms behind her.
Next came Scorpius, who was ring barer. James and Albus were ushers.
Then came the bridesmaids. Hermione and Fleur were dressed in simple string strap dresses, white organza over pink silk that came to the ankles, with pale pink heels. Both of them had daisies entwined in their hair which was tied up in a loose curled bun, trailing curls falling around their faces to soften the edges. Both bridesmaids were escorted up the aisle by their husbands, who were in the palest green robes, so pale they were almost white.
And then George couldn’t breathe.
Lucius was leading Andie down the aisle towards him. She took his breath away.
Lucius was in deep green robes, a sign of the father of the bride on Elvin tradition. He had Andie by the left arm and no one could ever say they had ever seen him happier or prouder than in that moment.
Andie was dressed in an intricate dress. It was a pale pink corset, almost white, with red ribbons to lace it together. The corset travelled smoothly down into a full skirt, the same pale pink, except where it parted at the front. The entire skirt was slit up the front to reveal un underskirt in the deepest red. The bottom of the red section was embroidered with ivy leaves, as was the top of the corset. There were two full length sleeves leading down from just below Andie’s shoulders. To top off the dress, there was a train and a veil, which was pulled back as she had had a panic attack when putting it over her face.
The look was completed by an ivy leaf necklace, ivy leaf earrings, and her engagement ring. Her hair was done in a simple style, her curls gathered at the top of her head to trail down her back, entwined with black roses and secured with a simple silver ivy leaf tiara.
Lucius walked her down the aisle and paused for George to bow to him and kiss his hand in a sign of respect, before he placed his daughters hand in George’s. Then he stepped back and took his seat beside Harry.
Professor Flitwick was conducting the ceremony, perched atop a golden ladder which had been entwined with ivy so it matched the seats.
“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here on this beautiful day to witness the joining of two very special people. Now, before we get underway, is there anyone that objects to this union?”
Flitwick paused and the whole wedding fell silent. George cracked the tension.
“It’s ok, I gagged the other seven wives in the basement. They’ll join us for the cake.”
The whole party erupted, some in shock, most in laughter. Andie smirked at him and he felt all the doubts and worries he had had melt away.
“Settle, settle,” Flitwick said brightly. “Now, the happy couple have decided to recite their own vows, to follow in Elvin tradition. Mr Weasley, please turn to Miss Malfoy and recite your vows.”
George turned to her and waved Percy, his best man, away with the parchment he had thought he would need to remember the vows he wanted to say.
“When I met you, it was the single clearest moment of my life. I suddenly knew all the things I wanted, all the things I needed. And they were all you. When I met you I had just lost my sister. I look around here today and I see a lot of people who should be here. But my father once told me that too many people miss the silver lining because they’re looking for gold. I never really got that until I met you. I was so busy trying to figure out how to be a twin without Fred. And if I hadn’t opened my eyes and took a look around, I never would have met you.
“Andie, you are the most amazing person in my life, and I love you so much that I could never try to put it into words, there just isn’t a word that’s right for what I feel. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to go to sleep next to you every night, and wake up next to you in the morning. I want to see the good times and the bad. And I want to do it all with you.”
Flitwick turned to Andie.
She took a deep breath and looked at all the people gathered I the garden. She looked at George. “I never really understood what my father and mother had, I never really understood what Draco had with Percy. I used to look at them and wonder how you could look at one person and know, just know, that they were the one. All my experience with men comes from a bad place and I could never understand how they could trust.
“But then I met you, and I realised that there is no reason for it. It’s fate, destiny. I was meant to meet you, and this is where I’m supposed to be. I was so afraid. When I first kissed you, I was scared that I was going to get hurt. And now, I’m scared that this is a dream, because you have no idea how happy you make me. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have any doubts about this marriage. But fear should be a counsellor and not a jailer. I can’t keep being trapped by my fear. Because I know that my love for you is stronger than anything else. And I can’t see myself without you.”
Scorpius stepped forwards and George slid the ring onto Andie’s left ring finger while repeating after Flitwick.
“I promise to love you forever, to the best of my abilities and for as long as I am able. I promise to protect you, light of my life, a delicate flame that I can’t live without. I bind myself to you, in love and in honour, before those we love as a symbol of our love.”
Andie took the ring and dropped it. Harry found it five minutes later and the service was continued.
“I promise to love you forever, to the best of my abilities and for as long as I am able. I promise to protect you, light of my life, a delicate flame that I can’t live without. I bind myself to you, in love and in honour, before those we love as a symbol of our love,” she said.
Flitwick called for all attention on him. “As the presiding wizard over this union, may I wish you the utmost happiness throughout your days. I now pronounce you bonded for as long as love dwells within your hearts. You may kiss your wife now Mr Malfoy Weasley.”
George leant forwards and kissed Andie gently, feeling her smile. “I love you,” he whispered as he pulled away, and Andie whispered “I love you.”
There was music as George led his wife down the aisle again, and then the party got underway.

Well, I won’t go into the party, you can all guess it.
