An Apology and a trap

Chapter 11
February quickly turned into May as winter turned into spring. Hermiones belly really stuck out, but no one noticed because she always wore a large robe to hide her pregnancy. After their little announcement at the Valentines Day ball, the professors also learned about the child she was carrying. They agreed that the students didn't have to know about the pregnancy, seeing that it most likely lead to problems between the two houses, as if there wasn't enough already. Hermione was told she was to report to the infirmiry for weekly checkups and she was still expected to keep up with assignments, which she did perfectly.
N.E.W.T.S were two weeks away, and the 7th years classes had ended for them to have time to prepare for the upcoming exams. Hermione spent most of their time in the Head common room, helping each other. Occasionally Blaise joined them, ans]d they enjoyed the company. The Slytherins still remained distant from Draco, but things were getting better. Most of them were being civil. The Gryffidor's were also civil toward to Hermione, except the two she really wanted. Harry wasn't furious any more, but he was disapointed and upset. and rarely said a word to Hermione. Ron however was in a deep depression. He wasn't eating or sleeping very well, and just looked off into space most of the time.
Hermione wished that her two best friends would accept her decision. She new in the long run it would be hard seeing the past that the trio and Draco had. But he had changed ever since his father had been put away away in Azkaban. It broke her heart not being able to have her friends trust her in the chioces she made. She knew eventually they would come around. At least thats what she hoped.
One night at about 2am , Hermione woke up sweatting and shaking. She looked to the side of her and the bed was empty. Draco was gone. Hermioine got up and searched the dorm. He was no where to be found.
"I have a bad feeling about this." she said to herself.
She grabbed Draco's invisibility cloak and quickly took off and went to the owlery, where he often went to think. It was empty when she got there. She went to corner where he usually sat, slowly fell to the floor and began to cry. She knew something was terribly wrong. He wouldn't just disappear. She heard the owlery door open and heard footsteps walk toward her. How any one would know she was there especially with an invisibilty cloak on was beyod her, but she didn't care. The person gently took off the cloak and she looked up. It was Harry.
" Even an invisibility cloak can't hide a person from the map." he said quietly as he helped her up off the floor. He noticed her belly and gave her a look of sadness.
"I'm sorry Harry , I wanted to tell you, but you didn't make it easy for me to talk to you" she said sobbing.
Harry took Hermione in his arms and held her for a few minutes.
" I was being such a jerk. I should have trusted your judgement. And now that I've observed you both , I can see he has changed and he loves you very much and would never hurt you" he said looking into her watery eyes.
"Thanks Harry, that means alot to me." she replied
" I saw you running up here on the map, why are you here at this time of night and why are you so upset?" he asked.
" I woke up and Draco wasn't there and he wasn't any where in the dorm. Sometimes he comes up here to think and I came up here and when he wasn't, I just broke down. Somthings wrong Harry. He would never leave like this. I think he's in trouble." she said as she looked out the window. She noticed something shining on the ground outside.
"Whats that?" she said out loud. Harry looked and saw it too.
"I don't know Hermione." said Harry.
" OMG. " Hermione sais as she looked closer. She turned and ran down the stairs the enterence hall, Harry running after her.
" Hermione wait! " he yelled in a loud whisper. She ignored him. He finally caight up with her. She couldn't run too fast, she kinda waddled. They came closer to the thing laying on the ground. hermione noticed it right away.
"It's the necklace I gave Draco for Christmas. He never takes it off." she said as she leaned down to pick it up, Harry held her arm, having a feeling he knew what it was, but it ws too late. Hermione had picked it up and they were both pulled by their stomace's by an invisible force.
