Could It Be?

One evening I was walking around the halls, just to be alone for a little bit. Harry had been asleep when I left. I had been told not to leave the room, but I needed to think.
\" Hey you.\" I heard about an hour later, I felt hands go around my waist. Exactly what I wanted, I wanted to be in Harry\'s arms. I smiled. \" I\'ve been looking for you everywhere.\"
\" Sorry. I didn\'t mean to worry you.\" I said.
\" You ok?\" He asked.
\" Yep.\" I smiled. We walked back towards our room. For some reason I walked a little ahead of him. One minute he was there talking to me, and the next it was silent. I turned and he was gone. I shrugged it off, thinking that maybe he\'d stopped in a bathroom, or something. I went back to the room. I waited around what seemed like forever. Finally I heard someone enter. \" Finally.\" I smiled.
\" I thought you\'d left me.\"
\" No way.\" I heard behind me. It wasn\'t Harry, I knew that for sure. I turned quickly. It was Lucius Malfoy, Draco\'s father. He grabbed me and apparated us both out. I knew where we were when we stopped, only because it\'s where Harry had cornered Sirius the first time. Before we knew the whole story.
\" You can\'t do this Malfoy.\" I yelled about 2 hours later. \" Where\'s Harry? What did you do to him?\"
\" Nothing yet...he\'s visiting with an...old friend I guess you would say.\" He said. I stood up.
\" You son of a--\" He cut me off.
\" No, no, no. You be nice, little girl.\" He said.
\" What did you do to my husband?\" I yelled.
\" He\'s with the Dark Lord of course.\" He said.
\" No.\" I said. \" No. He\'ll kill him.\" I started towards him. Then I felt a wave of pressure, and I knew what was happening. \" Oh no.\" I whispered. \" Malfoy I need to go up to the hospital wing.\"
\" What are you yapping about?\" He asked.
\" I need to go to Madame Pomfrey...\" I said.
\" You\'re not sick.\" He said.
\" No but, I think I just went into labor.\" I said, knowing that my water had broke and I sat down slowly. Malfoy didn\'t care, or believe me. He left the room, I was guessing to go help Voldemort. I started feeling contractions about 20 minutes later. There were far apart, and I was more afraid than ever. All too soon the contractions started getting unbareable. I wanted Harry...I needed him. \" Hey you, come on settle down in there, we gotta wait for your daddy. He wouldn\'t want to miss the birth of his--ouch!!!\" I cried.
I screamed everytime a sharp and painful contraction came. They just got stronger as the hours passed, it had been almost 4 hours since I\'d gone into labor. I was scared, and in pain, and worried about Harry.
\" Lacy!\" I heard somewhere in the hall outside the door. It was Professor Lupin I knew his voice.
\" In here.\" I cried. He came in. \" Where\'s Harry? Is he ok? Voldemort has him.\"
\" Calm down...just breathe.\" He said.
\" I can\'t.\" I said. \" I need him.\"
\" You need to focus.\" He said.
\" Professor Lupin, I need my husband.\" I cried. \" I need him here, with me. I don\'t want to have this baby without him.\" I screamed again, crying.
\" Lacy, you can\'t keep this baby from being born...\" He said.
\" I can hold off as long as I can.\" I said.
\" Harry should be here soon.\" He said. \" I\'m going to go help Professor Snape...and you try to relax.\"
\" Ok.\" I nodded. I guess it was about an hour later when Harry came in. He was cut up and bruised, he was covered in dirt. \" Baby.\" I cried.
\" Oh God...\" He said. \" How long have you--\"
\" Are you ok?\" I asked. He ran his hand over my hair, kissing my forehead, my cheek, and then quickly on my lips.
\" Yes.\" I said, relieved. Then another contraction hit. \" No.\" I laughed. \" Your child is quite stubborn. He or she is ready now...and doesn\'t care who is or isn\'t.\"
\" We need to get you to Madame Pomfrey.\" Harry said, calmly.
\" There\'s no time.\" I said, breathing deeply.
\" Time is up for the Potter family.\" I heard behind him. It was a dark figure with a hood, and a black aura around him. Voldemort.
\" Harry...\" I said, panicking.
\" Stay calm, everything\'s going to be ok.\" Harry said. I cried out loudly in pain.
\" Oh God Harry, it\'s really time...like now.\" I said.
\" Good girl...once you have the child and hand it over, you won\'t have to worry--\" I cut him off.
\" You\'ll never get my baby!\" I yelled.
\" Calm yourself Child. You will do as I say.\" Voldemort said. I was at the foot of the bed in the room, it was like a hideout, I guess I didn\'t mention that earlier. I was on the floor. Harry stood protectively in front of me.
\" I\'ve beaten you more than once before...Give up.\" Harry said. I struggled to lift myself up, leaning against the bed. \" Lacy, try to get out of here.\"
\" Not without you.\" I said, still struggling against the pain.
\" I\'ll be ok. You get yourself to Madame Pomfrey.\" Harry said.
\" No.\" I said. I couldn\'t stand up against the pain, so I sat on the bed. Professor Lupin and Professor Snape came in about 15 minutes later. Harry and Voldemort had been \"dueling\" the whole time. I was crying out in pain over and over. I was fighting the urge to have the baby.
\" Help her.\" Professor Lupin said to Harry.
\" How? I don\'t know what to do...\" Harry said.
\" You\'ll figure it out.\" Professor Snape said. Harry came and helpped me up into the bed.
\" You can do this.\" Harry told me, quietly. \" Don\'t pay attention to them.\" He said. \" Focus on you and me...and the baby.\" Professor Lupin looked back
\" Lacy you have to help that baby. You have to push...\" Professor Lupin said. I did. Over and over and over again.
\" Honey you\'re doing great.\" Harry said, nervously. \" Just a few more.\"
\" Crucio!\" I heard come from behind Harry, and I saw Harry fall to the ground. I screamed, among crying. I heard Harry screaming in pain. I heard the curse again, this time used on Voldemort, and saw Professor Dumbledore standing there.
\" Ennervate.\" I heard Dumbledore said. Harry got up slowly, looking exhausted. After re-evaluating the whole situation, Harry took my hand.
\" Come on honey a few more.\" He said. Within the next probably 15 minutes, we heard our baby cry. I smiled through tears.
\" It\'s a little girl.\" Harry said, softly. He wrapped her in a towel he found, and brought her over to me. Professor Dumbledore, plus Lupin and Snape kept their distance. Harry and I kissed.
\" A little girl?\" I smiled. We kissed again.
Soon we\'d gone up to the hospital wing. Madame Pomfrey panicked, she\'d never heard of a story like that. But at least Voldemort was dead.
\" Who delievered the child?\" She asked.
\" Harry did.\" I smiled. \" He was great.\" We talked for a few minutes.
\" Mr. Potter, I commend you.\" She said. \" Have you two choosen a name?\" I nodded.
\" Hope Harmony Potter.\" Harry and I smiled together.
