Chapter 11: The overgrown bat..

Chapter 11: The overgrown bat...

\"You look lovely Hermione.\" James said as he picked Hermione up in the common room the night of the dance. She offered a small smile and nodded to him, trying to look pleasant. \"Sorry I\'m late, I had some...previous engagements that I just couldn\'t break off.\"

Hermione nodded, absently wishing she hadn\'t done her hair and tried to look nice in her dress robes, but her mind was really elsewhere. Hermione was already panicked, for her brilliant plan for getting James and Lily together alone was not going to plan.

Draco had fouled things up, already having picked Lily up a few minutes ago. She\'d been blushing and he showered her with compliments and flowers. Hermione knew that something was wrong. This was all just part of Lucius\' stupid plan. Draco would never consort with a Mudblood if he didn\'t have to.

\"Thanks.\" Hermione said absently as James slid a corsage up her wrist. He didn\'t seem to notice her idle gestures and words. He instead grasped her hand tightly with his own and took her outside in the hall where Harry stood with his date.

\"Ready to go?\" James asked pleasantly as the three of them nodded. Harry looked to Hermione apologetically, and she knew there was nothing he could have done. He\'d tried. Draco had just gotten there first.

The two couples made their way down the hallway; all the rest of the school was making their way into the Great Hall where the dance was being held this year.

\"Nice dress.\" James said suddenly, looking nervously to Hermione.

\"Thanks.\" she said earnestly, trying not to look detached. \"I like your...glasses.\"

\"Oh.\" James said perplexed a moment, \"Thanks.\"

They didn\'t talk a while after that and Hermione was more than thankful. There was no point trying to be charming for her task this evening was to get him away from her and to Lily.

Speaking of which...The tall redhead was on the arm of Draco that evening, looking quite beautiful in her lavender robes. She beamed shyly as everyone looked to her in awe, Hermione even caught James staring.

\"She looks beautiful, doesn\'t she?\" Hermione offered, nudging James into the thought. He shook his head, blinking his eyes a moment and looking back to Hermione with a smile as her stomach dropped.

\"I suppose.\" he offered, \"But not as pretty as you.\"

Oh just great...

They walked into the Great Hall, seeing the several Professors’ chaperoning and making sure stu students didn\'t get too overzealous. Rows of sweets and drinks lined the walls and a large dance floor was set up where the tables used to be. Music rang overhead and the room was growing muggy from the large array of people dancing.

Hermione scanned the room, looking for her familiar dark haired lover. She didn\'t see him. She was actually rather nervous about seeing Severus tonight. She knew he\'d look the same, wouldn\'t bother with his hair or robes and this didn\'t deter her. She was fascinated with him.

She was worried about the passion that would come over her the moment Snape asked her to dance with him. The feel of his body against her own was something that this bookworm wasn\'t ready for.

\"Would you care to dance?\" James shouted over the music at Hermione. She looked to him warily, and over his shoulder saw Draco and Lily dancing with each other to the quick beat.

Maybe I can get him close to Lily.

\"Sure.\" Hermione answered as he took her hand, leading her into the mass of people gyrating to the beat. Hermione noticed that James kept looking over to the redhead and couldn\'t help but keep in a smile. Perfect. She knew he fancied her. It was just a matter of time now...

Lily made her way over to the punchbowl, her date Draco getting her a cup. She smiled graciously at him and took it, sipping delicately. Hermione made a face and proceeded to subtly guide James over by the table where they danced.

She pretended to accidentally nudge him during one part of the dance sequence. She watched as he tripped suddenly and Hermione felt her stomach dropping as her miscalculations reared their ugly heads.

James tripped fully into Lily, landing hard on his rear as she wobbled widely, her punch spilling down the front of her dress. James whirled up looking suddenly flustered. Hermione couldn\'t hear over the music, but saw as he animatedly used his hands while she yelled at him.

Oh bugger

James brandished his wand, pointing it to the front of Lily\'s dress near the stain from the punch. Sadly he acted too slow, Draco had already pulled out his wand and magically made the stain disappear. Giving James a supercilious look, Draco took Lily\'s arm and guided her away.

Hermione watched as Lily looked over her shoulder to the crestfallen James as he placed his wand back in his robe\'s pocket. He marched over to Hermione, feeling utterly despondent as they danced a while longer without a word.

Soon a slow song came on, the very moment that Hermione had been dreading. Being held this close to James. She looked to him and saw the far away look in his eyes. Before she could question it, James took her into his arms, holding her to him as they swayed to the gentle rhythm.

Oh just let this night end. Hermione thought, repulsed as James held her close to him. This plan is horrid. Lily and James are never going to get together...my best friend won\'t exist in the future...all because of me.

She was trying to hold herself at a distance from James, finding it rather hard to do so as he was trying to hold her quite tightly against him. It was like dancing with a bloody octopus. She looked up to James and viewed as he kept glancing over at Lily. He wore a small scowl on his face, and Hermione was more than thankful.

She looked around the dance floor again, a small frown on her lips. She couldn\'t see Severus anywhere. Or, for that matter Lucius. Lucius was a young man she con constantly wary of, lately he\'d been giving her the oiliest of smiles as she passed him, she had supposed that he\'d heard about she and Severus.

James suddenly twirled her slowly and she kept her eyes on the ground. She couldn\'t bear to look around, seeing all the happy faces and knowing that she was here with the most pompous, egotistical-

\"May I cut in?\" Came a smooth voice from behind her and Hermione felt her stomach melting to butter inside. James looked over Hermione\'s shoulder and held in a scowl. Hermione forced herself not to beam as she inhaled Severus\' delightful scent.

Hermione turned to see Severus directly behind her, wearing some very nice black robes, and giving James an even look of contempt. James lowered his hands from Hermione -much to her relief- and gave Severus an even look of anger. He was about to object when Hermione spoke up nervously.

\"Why don\'t you ask Lily to dance?\" Hermione suddenly offered, looking to James imploringly. She suddenly leaned in, whispering to him as if they were sharing a secret. \"I\'ve seen the way she\'s been looking at you.\"

\"Has she?\" James asked with a bright look in his eyes. Rapidly he frowned, looking from Severus to Hermione. \"No matter. You’re my date tonight. Snivellus-\"

\"Go on then.\" Hermione said with a friendly nudge, \"She\'s over there by the wall. Don\'t miss your chance!\"

James gazed over to where Hermione was motioning and felt his heart pounding. Lily stood at the wall, looking completely detached from the evening\'s festivities. Draco was chatting with some other Slytherin\'s a few yards off, evidently bored of the date he\'d brought.

James gave another look to the smirking Severus who stood so close to Hermione. She was sure James believed he\'d be a traitor leaving her alone with Severus like this, but knowing that Lily really did fancy him was playing with his emotions. Hermione gave him one more resolute smile before he nodded in agreement, kissed her hand dramatically -much to Severuchagchagrin- and wound his way to the crowd over to the bored looking Lily.

Once he was out of sight, Hermione felt a strong arm around her waist, twirling and pulling her to the figure. She smiled sweetly up to him, feeling her heart beating madly. How she\'d longed to see him all evening, and here he was.

\"I didn\'t think you were coming.\" She confessed shyly, feeling the warmth of his body as he pressed himself to her. She blushed at the contact, hoping they wouldn\'t be too obvious. He was grasping her around the middle tightly with one hand as the other gripped her hand in traditional ballroom fashion. Hermione idly wondered if he\'d had lessons.

\"I asked you to save me a dance, did I not?\" he mused lightly, his dark eyes boring into her own. She nodded meekly, swallowing thickly as his fingertip stroked her knuckles.

The mere contact was enough to send her head spinning, and as his sweet lips pressed against her own she felt all resolve leaving her. Their hips grinded together as he pulled her to him, as if wanting to imprint her on his own form. His hands were lost in her hair as her arms wrapped around his neck, wanting to deepen the kiss. Every touch between them was like a pulsating fire in the veins. He always wanted more as did she. But he pulled away slowly, letting her savor the taste of their lips and tongues together.

She sighed contentedly, looking into his dark brown eyes before looking a bit confused. \"Are you still mad at me?\"

\"No.\"

\"No?\" Hermione was relieved and quite a bit surprised. \"That\'s a relief.\"

\"I was angry,\" Severus went on reluctantly. \"When I first came in and saw him holding you.\" at this Hermione felt her hand being tightly squeezed and she winced. \"I wanted to wring his throat. I was furious at you for letting him hold you. Letting him put his hands on your body. For letting him be so close...\"

Hermione could hear the possessiveness in his voice. His words from their intimate encounter flashing in her head. You belong to me, Hermione Granger. Whether you like it or not. and she frowned. \"I see.\"

\"But,\" Severus continued after seeing the worried look in Hermione\'s dark eyes. His body was fully ready to respond to her hips against his own and his arousal seemed to make him bolder. \"I know why you were doing it now.\"

\"You do?\"

\"You were helping him to make Lily jealous.\" Snape deduced, impressed with his own deducting skills as he held her closely to him. He rocked her in his embrace and she found herself slowly loosing prior nervous inhibition. \"Evidently those two are keen on each other but needed the extra help.\"

\"Yes. That\'s exactly it.\" Hermione said relieved as she looked up to him. He hadn\'t somehow guessed about the time turner. She had previously been petrified at the thought that Severus had somehow found out. It was a stupid thing to worry about, since it was so very far fetched.

\"How very Slytherin of you.\" Severus murmured next to her earlobes he gave her a look that included his trademark eyebrow raise, which in Hermione opinion was darkly attractive...no, it was sexy. Dead sexy. Every time he gave her a look like that she felt her knees turning to jelly. His sexuality was intoxicating.

She\'d never been much on sex and snogging in the halls after curfew. Books had been her sustenance, knowledge her creed, and Hogwarts a History; her guide to school life. Now in the arms of her younger Professor she felt a strange sense of maturity, that she was indeed a woman. He made her feel...she couldn\'t find the perfect word, but was content to stay in his arms the rest of the evening.

* * *

\"Bloody Albus.\" Snape muttered angrily to himself as he appeared in the Great Hall of Hogwarts. He brushed himself off absently as he gazed around at the school. Something he saw every day but now looked so distant in his memory. He felt a small chill go through him as he looked to the halls and the children rushing to the Great Hall. He had a good mind to deduct points.

Realizing he might be recognized in a sense, he pulled on the hood of his long cloaks and took a deep breath. He really hated his job sometimes. He wondered if he should demand Albus for a pay raise. He scowled at some of the students who were stopping by to stare at him as he proceeded down the hall.

Suddenly he recognized one of the figures, looking to him with confusion in his face. Sirius Black. The bloody thorn in his side. Snape\'s lip curled into a sneer as the two of them gazed back at each other back and forth before Sirius shook his head and made his way down the hall.

\"Brat.\" He murmured to himself, his dark eyes scanning the faces and coming up with blanks. No Malfoy, Potter or Granger. Hmmm...Granger. He\'d been having some mighty strange dreams lately. One\'s that he\'d be sure not to mention to the Headmaster. Dreams that he had blushed at when awoken the next morning.

He felt horrid in a sense, knowing that it was almost him that had done such acts with her in darkened classrooms. The stolen kisses, the screams of ecstasy, the emotion, the arousal...He briefly wondered if she\'d be hysterical in the future when he informed her that he knew of their altercations. He suddenly let a smirk slip across his face at the though of her embarrassment.

\"Well, if its really terrible she can take a trip down to the Pensieve.\" he argued with himself, his boots barely making a sound on the floor beneath him. He scanned the crowd again for those troublesome students of his and seeing nothing but foreign faces wondered if Albus had sent him back to the wrong year or date.

There had been a touching dream memory though. One of him in his Deatheater garments as Miss Granger had rushed up to him looking so worried. He didn\'t know why though...evidently he\'d survive. It was she who should be worried. Nonetheless his younger counterpart had said something hurtful, he had sensed the pain that flashed in her dark eyes and before he could react, she\'d put her arms around him. He remembered feeling surprised in the dream before he\'d broken down and embraced her back tightly to him, not wanting to leave.

Snape was broken from the sweet memory as a flash of blonde skidded into his side, throwing him off balance a moment. On instinct his hand lashed out, grabbing the blonde projectile before he could make his getaway.

\"Watch where you\'re going.\" Snape hissed furiously, rearranging his hood and glaring in the shadows of it at the young blonde man. His eyes widened in realization and he loosened his grip from the young man\'s robes.

\"Lucius?\"

Lucius broke from Snape\'s grip, not seeing his face. He was about to answer, but looking panicked opted to rush off without a word. He was confused, who had been that tall man that knew his name? Why had he seemed so familiar?

Snape sighed lowly as he came to the doors of the Great Hall and saw it was rather dark inside. Several teachers were chaperoning he saw, and he scanned the crowd once more for his students.

Deciding then that a tall man in a black, hooded cloak wouldn\'t make for the best entrance, he moved to a deserted hall and cast a small invisibility spell. He hadn\'t wanted to use it, for it was a hassle. Deciding it was for the best he cast the spell and made his way into the Great Hall.

The music pulsated all around him and he brought a few fingers up to massage a suddenly aching temple. He scanned the room, his face in a line of displeasure as he looked for his meddling students. He briefly saw a flash of black hair, but in the darkened room, it could be anyone.

Students pushed past him, looking confused as they looked the air around them. He scowled inwardly and skulked around the back of the dance floor, opting to stand near the walls.

He nearly bumped into a figure, hidden in the shadows of the dance floor. Her back was against the wall as she looked wistfully out to the sea of faces. Snape leaned against the wall himself, surveying the students and keeping his eyes peeled. A soft sigh from his right made him glance over at the girl, and as he did so he held in a startled gasp.

Lily.

Snape felt the air leavinm asm as he stood next to her, watching her face as she looked to the dancing going on all around her, looking just as pretty as when he remembered her. She gingerly sipped her punch, sighing lightly as Snape watched her. He\'d never really fancied Lily in school, they\'d just been friends until his prejudice had overwhelmed his judgment. The feeling in him now was more one of pity, of regret. He looked to her youthful face and held in a sigh at the loss. Death by Voldemort. She\'d given up her life for Harry.

\"Oh God.\" Snape heard her mutter then, and saw her becoming flustered. He was confused at this action until.... Potter sauntered up. It was if it was yesterday and Snape\'s anger suddenly boiled within him. It didn\'t matter that James was dead, it didn\'t matter that it was the past. He suddenly wanted nothing more than to humiliate the boy standing in front of Lily with such adoration in his eyes.

\"Hi Lily.\" James said, nervously combing his hair back with his fingers. He was obviously nervous, and having Lily look at him with that cold look in her eyes was more than he could bear. \"Would you care to dance?\"

\"Wouldn\'t your date mind?\" Lily asked snottily, looking to James with hurt flashing in her bright orbs. James shook his head briskly, trying to show he was being completely truthful.

\"She\'s the one that suggested I come over and ask you.\"

\"Oh, she did?\" Lily asked lightly, looking over to Hermione and feeling her anger fade. Evidently Hermione wouldn\'t have done something so cruel on purpose, and she\'d have to ask her later just what she\'d been thinking. James looked to Lily, seeing her face soften a moment before her steely gaze met his own.

\"Well James Potter, I don\'t take kindly to be treated like some second choice.\" She sniffed airily, crossing her arms as Snape looked to her impressed. He often remembered she\'d been fiery in her youth, probably would have been all her life. “Especially to a pompous little brat like yourself.”

Severus could barely contain the glee in his face as he watched James almost cower at her words. Sweet revenge for the knickers incident. James looked completely horrified as he stood in front of her. His light eyes were wide as he stared at her, wanting to tell her he was completely honest. \"But Lily, I-\"

\"But,\" Lily interrupted, as a small smirk crossed her face. \"In light of the fact that you came all the way over here to ask me...and my date is, detained at the moment, I\'d be more than happy to dance with you, James.\"

James got a sudden beam on his handsome face, his eyes shining as he offered Lily his arm. Lily blushed and took the proffered arm, her eyes staying on James\' own as they made their way to the dance floor, looking completely content.

Snape watched the two of them skip off together and briefly made a face. Poor Lily. What a waste. Potter was one g, bg, but Lily had such potential. He could tell by the way James drew her into a tight embrace as they danced, that they were head over heels with one another. He rolled his eyes dramatically at the spectacle.

Still leaning against the wall, now alone, Snape\'s eyes lazily drifted over the students until they landed on one young woman, her hair -how could he have missed it before?- in all it\'s frizzy glory. His eyes narrowed as he looked more intently to her, realizing that it was in fact that little troublemaker.

\"Granger.\" he growled in the low of his throat, watching her dancing intimately with some tall figure. He viewed her flushed face as she spoke, the close proximity she was sharing with her dance partner, her dark eyes gazing up into the face of....

\"Oh Merlin no...\" HimsHimself.

Snape looked to the two of them dancing and felt a strange sensation pass through his stomach. He was utterly and completely confused. He knew he should have expected it from the dreams he\'d been having, but actually seeing his younger self, looking to Hermione Granger longingly was causing his stomach to flip in a very strange manner. He was gob smacked.

This was only added to when he viewed himself swooping down and placing a very firm, and awe inspiring kiss upon Herm\'s \'s waiting lips. Snape\'s own lips subconsciously parted when Hermione\'s did, his mouth going dry and he found himself growing quite dizzy.

\"Oh no.\"

He was stilled to the spot, watching as Hermione -the most annoying girl he knew- closed her eyes in pleasure, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply back. Their bodies were molded to one another; their hips doing a suggestive dance all themselves. Snape watched on, feeling himself getting lost in the spectacle.

Professor Snape never really looked at Hermione like a woman before; she was just another annoying student he had to deal with. But seeing her there, snogging madly with his younger self was making him feel quite overheated. The two of them were lost in each other\'s mouths a moment, their lips doing all the talking as Severus\' hands trailed all over body. Professor Snape himself stood staring in complete horror.

This was his student! The supposedly mature one, the level headed witch, the one who should know better than to snog her Professor...even if it was twenty years ago! He was suddenly very aware of what was going on, his head clearing as his eyes narrowed.

\"This ends here.\" He muttered to himself, deciding he\'d drop the Invisibility charm. He moved to a not so crowded section of the dance floor, his back to the crowd as he dropped the Invisibility shield. He twirled around quickly, looking for Granger where he last saw her.

His eyes frantically scanned the ballroom, racking through the couples as he grew more and more furious. This was turning out to be a great deal longer and harder than he expected. His dark orbs searched the room once more before he realized the obvious.

She was gone.

* * *

\"Severus?\" Hermione said lightly, her arms still around him tightly as she rested on his chest. She loved the way his voice rumbled through his body and against her cheek when she leaned against him.

\"Mmm?\"

\"I just got this feeling...\" Hermione said softly, \"That Harry, Draco and I will be leaving soon.\"

Severus was silent a moment, his body stiffening slightly. Hermione hadn\'t wanted to say it, but she knew that the timeld cld come eventually. Truth be told she half wished Snape would get angry at her, yell at her and leave in a huff. At least it would be easier to leave him.

\"But, I don\'t wish for you to leave Hermione.\" he finally said darkly, his arms wrapping her protectively around her. It was true. He didn\'t want her to leave at all. He was unsure of the feelings within him, but he was certain they were those of protective affection.

\"It\'s not my choice.\" Hermione started, her dark eyes wetting with tears. \"I-...wait a minute. Where\'s Harry going?\" Hermione changed the topic, looking over Severus\' shoulder as her friend made his way out of the dance room. Harry looked rather frightened and he was alone, his date looking after him in confusion.

\"Not sure.\" Severus said lightly, glancing as Harry made his way out of the Great Hall. \"Why?\"

\"He looks beside himself.\"

\"Mmm.\" Snape murmured, holding her to him as they danced. He loved the feel of her warm body against his own, and was reluctant to speak next, or he knew all too well what it would entail. He sighed heavily, looking into her sweet face once more before signing her fate.

\"Well I did hear him speaking to someone about going to the Shrieking Shack.\"

\"The Shrieking Shack?\" Hermione asked nervously, her heart suddenly pounding with fear. She gripped Snape\'s hand tightly within her own. \"Are you sure?\"

\"I\'m fairly certain that\'s where he said he was headed.\" Severus answered languidly, watching as Hermione\'s face grew serious. \"Why? Did you want to follow him?\"

\"Yes.\" Hermione said firmly, still holding Severus\' hand as they made their way through the crowded dance floor. Didn\'t Harry remember? Hadn\'t he seen the type of moon it was tonight?

They zigzagged out of the hall; their hands intertwined as a few students looked on.

\"Hermione.\" Snape suddenly said, looking to her intensely. \"I have to tell you something.\"

\"Can it wait?\" Hermione said distractedly as they walked. She felt Snape\'s hand gently loosen from her own, but was so worried she barely noticed. Severus strode beside her with ease, his face cloudy.

They were in the hall in a matter of moments, and without any sign of Harry, Hermione was growing frantic. Her breathing was coming out in short little huffs and Severus looked to her.

\"What\'s the matter?\"

\"Nothing.\" Hermione insisted, looking absently around the hall until she viewed the familiar hump backed witch. Severus was frowning deeply, his dark eyes looking almost black. Hermione gave him a tentative smile before she opened the passageway to the Shrieking Shack.

\"We\'ll take the passage.” she said, ignoring the look of surprise on Severus\' face. She leaned in, listening for any growling and hearing none. This was either a very good, or very bad sign. \"Bring out your wand Severus.\"

\"I\'m way ahead of you.\"

Snape answered dryly as suddenly Hermione felt a gentle poke at her back, unmistakable the feel of a wand\'s tip. She swatted at it, wondering why Severus was in such a playful mood. \"Stop it Severus, this isn\'t the time.\"

\"Actually,\" Severus answered darkly, and suddenly the fear hit Hermione like a ton of bricks. His voice was low and warning, and she felt the harsh poke of his wand at her spine. \"It\'s exactly the time. If you wouldn\'t mind, Miss Granger, hand over your wand and step into tunneunnel. We’re playing by my rules now.\"

authorotesotes: Ohhhhhhhhhhhh….Severus Severus Severus….As you can tell with the title of these chapters, I\'m running out of names and nicknames to use...so if you have any suggestions, I\'m open to them.

As promised, the bunnies are here. In fact, I’ve given them a chance to write a little something before I include my special thanks to those of you who have reviewed. I’ve made a promise not to read what they write, -which is pretty impressive in itself since they have paws t so- so- and only hope they don’t say anything stupid.

Without further introduction, here are the bunnies from hell.

Alright toots, Floppy here. Holden has been constantly complaining that we’re lazy, that we sit around and eat carrots and watch TV all day. And so what? That’s what we plot bunnies do. We’re muses of a sort, except we’re the annoying kind that stay around and bite you in the ass until you do something about it.

Do we get the happy recognition that muses do? Hell no! Muses sit away in their tower of knowing everything, all glittery and brilliant bestowing the odd suggestion here or there. Meanwhile bunnies like me and Tommy, and Brownie and so forth, slave around these stupid humans and do we ever get thanks? Hell no! Do we get special little acknowledgements in the chapter headings with happy faces? I think not! It’s one annoying whine after the other.

Holden always has to come shrieking to us after writing a chapter or two, like it’s hard or somethin’. ‘I can’t feel my fingers!’ she says, ‘I think I have carpal tunnel’ she says. Man, we give her all this brilliant plot weaves and what does she do? Complain!

Well we don’t care. Until this story is written and done to our liking, we’ll keep haunting our little owner. We’ll chew on every pair of shoes she owns, eat all the carrots in the house, drink all the Cola in the house –her inspiratio the the by- and ransom off her Alan Rickman movies until she gets to writing those next chapters. It don’t matter to us if Holden goes nuts…this is what we do.

So don’t hate us because we’re doing out job. Hate us because we’re so damn good at it.

By for now, and keep reviewin’.

Floppy.

And now, onto the reviews!

Distinctvagueness: Awwww...you got teary eyed? I admit, in some stories when its sweet little moments like that I get all sappy myself. You the the last chapter in ‘Teacher, Teacher’ with the kid and Severus? I was all misty eyed…it happens to the best of us. As for Snape and Hermione’s inevitable meeting…I mustn’t give too much away.

scifichick774: I know, I adore t.t. fics as well. Any recommendations? Ha...you don\'t think Harry will ecer exist? Must admit, I don\'t know what to tell you...I mean, it would make for an awkward story if he didn\'t but...you never know. *evil grin*

AnonymousSS: Thanks. The bunnies are making sure I update as often as physically possible.

Clair Snape: I know Clair, I’ve often been called mean. It’s good for my image. *grin*

nesscafe: Oh, glad to hear you love time turner fics as well. I suppose it makes sense though, if author\'s don\'t finish them and all. Do you have any time turner fics to recommend? hg/ss of course. As for Hermione and Snape\'s encounter...you\'ll have to read the next chapter to find out.

LaceyWeasley: Thanks. I’ve never really prided myself on sexual scenes, and am always glad when people say their acceptable. I admit, I sometimes myself like a forceful Snape in the throes of passion.

Crescentmoon: Exciting? I’m glad. I too check compulsively when my favorite stories are updated –when I should be writing- and heave a deep sigh when they’re not up.

Lady Rosesong: She’s in love, what can I say? Love makes you do some really really really really stupid things. I’m glad you liked that scene of them together, I thought it most appropriate.

Village Mystic: Ahhhh, that makes sense. You’re good at explaining why time turner fics can be liked or hated. Good on you. I’m glad you like the story, and hope you enjoy the chapters to come.

Thanks for all the reviews, cheers. holden.
