White Silk

Thank you all so much for the reviews. I know I was particularly mean to Andie in the last chapter, but I had to lift her curse. I decided that I wanted her magic to be whole when she gets married.

On with the story, and in this chapter it is mid September, and the little ones have gone back to school, all apart from Lily, who is being home schooled.

George has managers for his chain of joke shops. He has left Ron to handle the main running of the business. JK mentioned in an interview that Ron joined George in the joke business.

Harry is head of the Auror office, and he has taken a few years leave, as to rest and take care of his children. He took his leave just before Ginny killed herself.

Percy and Draco still work. Percy works for Minister Shacklebolt as his undersecretary, and Draco works as a Auror.

Andie does not work, she is kind of the mother of the group and spends her time taking care of the others.

I have stopped taking suggestions for the full weddings, but you can still give me suggestions for what you want to see.

To follow this I am answering redneckmama, and thus the Draco and Percy scene in this chapter is dedicated to her.

******************************

Percy watched Andie potter around in the kitchen from the doorway. She was missing the little ones, missing being able to mother them. So her mothering of her boys, as she had dubbed them, had increased ten fold.

“You know, you’ll have to answer the letter from the Elves soon,” he said.

She scowled and beckoned him into the kitchen, where he leaned against one of the counters.

“This doesn’t mean you’re allowed to cook in here. All of you are not allowed to cook in here after you and Draco nearly burnt it down. I ban you all,” she said. He nodded and waited. “I can’t, I just can’t. For me to become Queen, I’d have to live there, and there is no way in hell I am living there.”

“They want you to become Queen because you are the next royal in the pecking order. Not to mention who disposed of the last monarch,” Percy said calmly. She cringed.

“What do I do? How do I make them see that I won’t do it?”

“Now that one is simple.” She looked at him as if he’d lost his mind. “You appoint a new monarch.”

“What?”

“Technically, you are Queen. You are the only living royal left. So it is within your power to choose a new family to take the monarchy.”

She looked at him incredulously. “I can do that?”

“I’ve been looking over the books you gave me on Elvin laws and the Elvin monarchy. It’s an obscure piece of legislation, but it’s how your family came to be in power. The monarch decided he didn’t want to be king, so he chose your great great great great grandfather. The monarch remained a prince until he died.”

She stood against the counter for a while, deep in thought before Percy spoke to her again.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered.

“For what?” she asked confusedly.

“For chasing you. When you took the sketchbook. If I hadn’t, you wouldn’t have ended up being taken.”

She sighed. “It wasn’t your fault. It was just something that happened. If I hadn’t chased you, he would have found another way to get to me. He wanted to prove a point and he would never have given up without proving it.”

She kissed him on the cheek and walked out, leaving him to deal with his guilt.

George was frustrated. It had been weeks, months since he had fallen for Andie, and yet he had promised himself that they wouldn’t consummate their relationship before the wedding. But that didn’t stop the hard on that he woke up with every single morning, or the one that developed when she was in the same room.

Percy had made his peace with Andie and his own conscience yesterday and the wedding plans had begun again with a vengeance.

George groaned and quit his bed, walking to the bathroom to step into a shower and take care of his little problem.

It was going to be a very long day.

**********************

“I don’t want him there, simple as that,” Percy said, George nodding.

“He apologised. He didn’t know what she was doing, and he wants to make up for it,” Harry argued.

“I’m not having Charlie at my wedding!”

George nodded.

They were sitting in the study, debating yet more wedding trivialities. The only thing that was not discussed was Andie’s wedding dress.

Suddenly, Hermione, Fleur and Molly Apparated into the study, causing Lucius to fall backwards, his chair hitting the floor with a clatter.

“Your own fault for leaning on just two legs,” Harry said as he helped Lucius up.

Lucius righted the chair and straightened his clothes and hair, ignoring the badly concealed giggles emanating from his companions. “Ladies, to what do we owe the pleasure of your visit?” Lucius said, throwing a murderous look at Harry, who was sniggering.

“We’re taking your daughter shopping, for her dress,” Hermione said as she removed a quill tucked into the hem of Lucius’ robe.

Andie walked into the room, Lily trailing behind her, to kiss George goodbye and then floo out with the other females.

George groaned and excused himself from the room. Lucius, Harry, and Draco all looked at Percy.

“He’s slightly regretting his decision not to sleep with Andie until their wedding night,” Percy explained.

Draco and Lucius went bright red and Harry smirked. Percy stood and grabbed Harry by the arm, leading him to the door.

“Where are you two going?” Lucius asked curiously.

“We’re going to work on what we’re going to wear for our weddings. Can’t have the other groom see it now can we?” Harry stated simply before Percy pulled him out of the room.

While the boys were busy choosing their outfits with the help if Mr Twilfit and his assistants, the girls had opted for Madame Malkin’s.

They entered the store and Madame Malkin herself rushed up to them. “Ladies, what can I do for you today?”

Molly stepped forward and took Andie forward with her. “This one is getting married to my son. We require dresses and female company,” Molly said jokingly.

“She lives with men?” Madame Malkin said, laughing as the women nodded. “Well, lets see if we can’t stretch this out then. Which son?”

“George.” Madame Malkin smiled and nodded.

She led them into the back of the shop and proceeded to pull out books of designs and swathes of material.

Andie looked apprehensive and ashamed. As Madame Malkin pulled out the white silk, she bolted from the store.

Hermione, Molly and Fleur split up, Lily staying with Madame Malkin.

It was Hermione that found her, being comforted by terrified looking goblins. She took the shaking and hyperventilating woman from them and led her to Florean Fortescues, sitting her down and waiting for her to talk.

“I can’t do this, Hermione, I can’t marry him,” she whispered.

“Why? You love him, don’t you?” Hermione asked as a waiter brought them two coffee’s.

“Of course I do, but I can’t marry him. I can’t ask him to do this, to marry someone like me.”

“What do you mean?”

“Vasili is the only one to ever touch me. You know, touch me like that.” Andie blushed as she said it.

Hermione nodded in understanding. “Well,” she said after a long pause. “How about this. We go back to the store and buy dresses. And, if you still feel the same in a week, you can call it off.”

“But it’s a bit pointless,” Andie began.

Hermione interrupted. “Your father is paying. If you change your mind they can be returned. So, what’s the problem? It’s just buying a few dresses.”

“She pulled out white.”

Hermione hit upon the realisation like Sherlock Holmes upon a clue. “You don’t think you can get married in white.”

“It’s not that. My father always told me that I could do anything I wanted. It’s the implications of white,” Andie said.

“White for a virgin bride.”

“Exactly. Just seeing it reminded me that I’m not,” Andie said. “I was there again, back in that room, on the floor, with him.”

Hermione noticed Fleur and Molly walking towards them. “Stay here,” she said. She left the table and walked to the two older women.

“Can you two go in and ask Madame Malkin to remove the white fabric?”

“Of course, but why? Ze white would look lovely on ‘er,” Fleur said in the same hushed tones that Hermione was using.

“The white provokes certain memories for her. I think it would be wise to remove it.”

Fleur nodded understandingly and walked off to Madame Malkin’s. Hermione grabbed Molly’s arm.

“You need to go and get George, she’s talking about calling off the wedding,” Hermione whispered. Molly’s eyes went wide and then she Apparated back to Malfoy Manor.

Hermione returned to the table and calmly sipped her coffee, praying Molly wouldn’t take too long

**********************

George, Harry and Lucius were laughing at the sight of Draco in a set of lemon yellow robes.

“Shut it, both of you,” Draco said, trying to take them off. His stumbling around only made them laugh louder.

“I’m sorry Draco, but you look like a banana!” Harry roared, Lucius dissolving into a fresh fit of laughter, he and Harry collapsing onto each other in mirth. George had tears rolling down his cheeks as he clutched his sides.

Draco toppled over fully as Molly Apparated into the study.

“George, you have to come!” she said, grabbing George by the arm.

“Why? What’s going on? What’s happened?” George said as Molly tried to pull him into the centre of the room.

“We were in Madame Malkin’s and everything was going fine. Suddenly Andie freaked out. Hermione found her and Hermione told us that Andie is talking about calling of the wedding,” Molly said in a rush. They all stopped laughing.

Draco tossed the lemon yellow robes across the room. “Go, George. I’ll get Harry and Percy and we’ll meet the rest of you there,” he said, already heading to the door.

As George Apparated out with his mother, Harry and Percy emerged into the room.

“Done! We’re all sorted. What’s wrong?” Harry said, catching the look on Lucius and Draco’s faces ands George’s absence.

“Andie’s talking about calling off the wedding. Apparently, something upset her in Madame Malkin’s,” Lucius said.

Without another word, they all Apparated to the Leaky Cauldron.

*******************

“Why don’t you want to marry me?”

Andie dropped her coffee as she felt George’s breath ghost over her ear, his soft voice barely above a whisper.

“Hermione,” Andie growled. Hermione hurried away to the Leaky Cauldron, where Molly had hurried off to.

“Don’t blame her, she was worried. Now, talk to me. What happened?” George said as he pulled Hermione’s chair in front of Andie and sat on it.

Andie looked around for someone to stop this conversation from happening. But there was no one, just shoppers oblivious to what was happening.

“How could you marry someone who had been tainted like that?”

“I want you because I love you.”

“But you don’t want me! Why would I make you marry me if you don’t want me?”

George was stunned. “What in the name of Merlin makes you think I don’t want you?” He was close to laughter at the absurdity of her statement, but he refrained.

“Ever since I came back, you haven’t come near me. Just light kisses. If you wanted me, you’d be a lot more affectionate than that.”

George could have slapped himself silly. “Angel, I’ve been keeping my distance because I thought you needed time to heal. After what Vasili did, I thought you needed time.”

She looked at him incredulously. She launched herself at him.

“If I’d have known you wanted it, I still wouldn’t have done it anyways.”

She pulled back.

He motioned to his crotch. His erection was plain for the whole world to see.

“I wake up every single fucking morning with this. And it happens every time I’m anywhere near you. It’s all I can do not to break my own self imposed rule.”

“What rule?”

“The rule I made that says I won’t ravish you until our wedding night,” he said sheepishly.

A look of warm satisfaction settled on Andie’s face. “Well, how about we move the wedding up?”

“To when?”

“This Saturday?”

“But that’s only three days away. Can we organise everything in time?”

“You forget, I’m a Malfoy. I can do anything when I set my mind to it.”

********************

Draco and Percy sat in a comfortable silence at the bar, sipping Butterbeers. The others were scattered around the room but they only had attention for each other. Draco jumped as Percy placed his sketchbook in front of him on the bar.

“What’s this?” Draco asked.

“My sketchbook. Andie took it, she was teasing me with it, the day she was taken. It’s the reason she was near those trees,” Percy said. “I want you to have it.”

“Why?”

“Because it’s you.”

“What do you mean?”

Percy opened the sketchbook and placed it in front of Draco again. “It’s you,” he said simply.

Draco looked down and started thumbing through the pages.

It was him, glaring from every page in agonising detail. There were hundreds of them, all in completed in black and white with a deft skill. There were pictures of Draco from every angle and with the people in his life. There were pictures of him and Scorpius at different ages. There were ones of him playing chess with his father and Harry. And the most beautiful of them, in Draco’s eyes, were the ones of him and Percy in bed together, in the throes of passion.

On the last pages were pictures of Andie, pictures before Andie had been taken, of her with Draco.

“Why didn’t you want her to see these?” Draco whispered.

“Because I was afraid to let her see you the way I do. I wanted to be the only one who saw you like that. And because of that, because of me wanting to keep you to myself, we nearly lost her. You nearly lost her. And I am so sorry for that,” Percy said, not meeting Draco’s gaze.

Draco forced Percy to look at him. “This wasn’t your fault. It really wasn’t. Andie loves you, she sees you as another brother. She doesn’t blame you, I don’t blame you. No one blames you. We all blame Vasili. My father doesn’t even blame you, and you know what he’s like,” Draco said.

Percy snorted. Everyone knew what Lucius was like when it came to his children.

He was caught off guard when Draco kissed him. Draco had never done this, kissed him in public and Percy revelled in it, not having to hide. Draco slipped his tongue into Percy’s mouth and duelled with his. After a moment, they broke apart.

“These are incredible,” Draco whispered, thumbing through the drawings again.

“No, they’re not. They’re just sketches,” Percy said, blushing.

“No, they’re really good! You really have a talent here. I love them.”

Percy smiled and leaned in to kiss Draco again as George walked into the bar.

“Well, good news is the wedding is most definitely on. Hermione, Mum, Fleur, Andie’s waiting for you in Madame Malkin’s,” George said brightly.

The boys waited for the women to leave before they turned to George. “Come on bro, what’s the bad news?” Percy asked.

“Well, Andie has decided that she wants the wedding this Saturday. As in three days from now,” George said.

“WHAT!!!!!!!”

*************

There you go, another chapter. I seem to be doing pretty good with the updating on this one.

Now, the results of the suggestions:

The cookie for the original idea goes to kiwigirl, for her tropical island idea, which was a truly original idea for a HP fan fiction wedding.

The star for the traditional idea goes to Wraith_Master, for the idea of a traditional Asian wedding with Kimonos, or a Shamanistic wedding. I loved them both.

The hug for the romantic idea goes to kiwigirl, for her garden idea, the detail in the idea was a beautiful image.

Remember you can still send me traditions. Next chapter will be George and Andie’s wedding.

After that will be Draco and Percy. And finally there will be Lucius and Harry. Smut will follow each of the weddings.

So, the Andie and George smut will be chapter 12, Draco and Percy will be chapter 14, and Lucius and Harry will be chapter 16. Well, that’s if the plot bunny follows the plan.

Hope you liked the chapter. Please please please review.
