Declearing their Love

Chapter 10
The newlyweds stood out side the Great Hall. Ginny and Blaise had already entered. The two were nervous, but they knew they had eachother, no matter how badly things went.
"Ready?" Draco asked quietly
"As I'll ever be" she said with a quiver in her voice.
He tightened his grip on her hand and pushed open the doors. Music over swept them as well as utensils hitting the plates and chatter going on about the hall way. Draco noticed Ginny smiling at them and Hermione noticed Blasie smiling at them too. Nobody had looked toward the couple until a scream came from the Slyherin table. Sure enough Pansy Parkinson was stomping toward them. Draco ignored the action as he walked Hermione to the Gryffindor table. She sat down next to Ginny and he proceeded to kiss her when someone pulled him away by the back of his head. He turned to find not Parkinson, but Potter. Pansy quickly came up and pulled Draco a few steps away while Harry glared at him. Hermione tried to get up to join Draco but was held back by Harry holding her arm.
"What the hell do you think your doing, Pansy?" he asked her through gritted teeth.
"Me! What about you, you were going to kiss that filthy Mud-" she froze as Draco took out his wand and had it at her neck.
" Never speak that way about her again" he said darkly.
Harry's grip on Hermiones arm tightened.
"Harry, let go , your hurting me. " she spoke as her eyes watered. Draco turned around and went back to Hermione, glaring at Harry.
" I believe she asked you to let her go and I suggest you do so" he said darkly.
" And who are you to speak for her?" he spat back at Draco.
" He's my husband." said an angry Hermione. Harry looked at her and down at her left hand to see a wedding band and a matching one on his. He still wouldn't let go of her.
" I'll ask you once more, Potter, kindly take your hand off of my wife" he said, still through gritted teeth. Harry let go and Ginny took Hermione to an empty space at the table. Draco followed the girls to make sure Hermione was alright.
" Are you ok, love" he asked worridly.
"Yes, my arm just hurts is all. It'll probably bruise, but a spell can fix that." she said her eyes tearing and whincing in pain as he ran his hand over the tender area. It was as red as the dress she was wearing.
" Don't worry, he'll pay for this" he whisperd in her ear. Then he leaned in and kissed her gently on the mouth. The entire hall had gasped. Draco and Hermione had forgotten the entire school was there and saw and heard everything.
" Some entrance, huh?" he asked as he gave a little smile. All Hermione could do was laugh.
The rest of the night went on better than they had expected. Only a few select people stood their ground on what they thought. But the rest of the school accepted it. The ball was spectacular. Red and pink heart shaped candles floated in the air above the dance floor. There was fast and slow music. Candy and sweets were set up on the tables for those who wanted it. Hermione and Ginny sat at a table with Blaise and Draco enjoying some butter beer, when the DJ made an annoucment.
"Ok, witches and wizards, its almost midnight and this is the last dance, so make it special" he said. Draco stood up and held his arm out to Hermione.
"May I have this dance, Mrs. Malfoy." he asked with a smirk an his face.
" Of couse, Mr. Malfoy." she replied. She placed her hand in his and he led her to the dance floor. He placed his hand on her waist and she placed her arms around his neck and let he head rest on his shoulder. the music took over their minds and didn't relize that the students had stopped dancing and formed a circle around the couple. As the end of the song grew near, Draco lifted Hermione's head and looked deeply into her eyes.
"I love you, Hermione" Draco whispered
"I love you too, Draco" she replied, tears growing in her eyes. They didn't notice half the girls in their audience were tearing up as the new couple decleared their love for one another.
