Summary:Summary: Hermione's hurt by Ron's cheating ways, and finally gains the strength to leave him. But its only a crash course after that and she finds herself in a depression she cant find a way out of. Will he be able to help her before she is too far gone, or will he fail? GW/HG

Chapter one: pilot chapter

For the past few months after Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley had annouced their engagement, everyone started noticing a dramamtic change in the couple. Hermione was becoming more depressed by the day as Ron seemed the same. It soon was becoming obvious what Ron was doing and why Hermione was so depressed...Ron was cheating.
At first it was just suspicions, and soon it was confirmed when Ron's older brother, Percy, had seen Ron with another woman at the local pub that was close to Ron and Hermione's small home. Everyone didnt know what to do, because when it came to suggesting Hermione leaving Ron she would just look at them blankly and not say a word. It was hurting everyone in the Weasley family, as well as the Potters since Hermione was like family to them both.
It was a surprising day when Hermione had walked into the Burrow, tears streaming from her eyes. Molly, the only Weasley who was home, had rushed to her and pulled her into a tight hug. The twenty year old clung to the older woman desperately as she cried.
"Here let me fix you a warm cup of tea, and you can tell me what happened dear." Molly said as she ushered the young woman to a chair and started bustling around fixing her some tea, as Hermione just sat there, tears still streaming from her eyes.
Molly knew instantly knew why she was here and had finally broken down. She felt herself growing angry at her son for what he had done to this girl who had grown to be more of a daughter than her cheating son was to her. Coming over with a warm cup of fresh tea she sat on the other side of the long table and looked at Hermione's shaking hand took the tea and sipped it.
"Thank you, Molly..." Hermione whispered as she sat the cup down, and Molly took her hand.
"Any time dear...now please tell me what happened.." Molly smiled and gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, Hermione gave a weak smile showing she was grateful for having Molly like a second mother, but her frown fell as she closed her eyes trying to get rid of the image of what she had discovered before taking the night drive from London to the Burrow that was her second home since she was a young girl at St. Joseph's School of the brightest.
"I came home early, hoping Ron was home so we can spend the evening together...maybe try and fix what was broken...As I walked down the hall I saw clothes thrown everywhere...women's clothes..and I opened the door of our bedroom and saw..." Tears started falling faster and more. "Ron in bed with another woman...He didnt see me, but he sure heard me when I screamed and ran out of the house...Hes been calling my cell all night leaving numerous voicemails, but I turned the phone off, as I drove all the way here."
Molly's anger grew more as she hurried around the table and took the girl into another hug as she started to cry again. Molly was going to kill her no good cheating son. She was furious since she had raised her son better than that. But from this moment on, she felt she didnt have a 6th son after what he had done to Hermione.
