And So It Begins
Severus Snape lay in the middle of a massive bed. Back arched and covered in a sheen of sweat, he moaned his pleasure to the only other inhabitant of the cabin. His hands ached from hours of clenching the sheets in his fists. He had long ago lost count of his orgasms and still his lover licked, sucked, and fondled him. Large, but gentle, hands moved his lean body however they liked. After every orgasm, the hands petted and caressed his long limbs bringing sighs of contentment from the usually stoic man.
Severus felt his muscles start to tense and threw his head back. “Please” and “Yes” and “Oh, God” rained from his lips like a prayer. He felt his lover hovering over him, careful not to crush his body with their larger one. The air was thick with the smell of sex as the potions master finally let himself go for the last time. With a shuddering scream, Severus came all over his chest. His lover let out a pleased hum and licked the warm liquid from Severus’ sweaty skin.
“Hagrid.” Severus forced the name from his dry throat.
His lover’s gaze washed over his face. Concerned black eyes met his for a moment before the half giant reached across the bed to retrieve a water jug. Hagrid held it out to him as Severus struggled to move into a sitting position. He finally settled for letting Hagrid set him in his lap and tip the jug to Severus’ lips. After a few large gulps of water, Severus relaxed back against his lover’s chest and sighed happily.
After a few moments, Hagrid spoke up. “Was I too rough, Sev’rus?”
The potions master craned his neck to scowl up at him. “I reached fulfillment countless times, I think it is safe to say you were satisfactory.”
Hagrid nodded absently and began kneading the muscles in the smaller man’s back and shoulders. Severus let out an undignified sound that somewhat resembled a purr before he gained control of himself. They lounged together, Hagrid propped against the headboard and Severus curled into him, until Severus’ left forearm began to tingle. The death eater was instantly alert, all affects of the past four hours gone. He unfurled his limbs and began to crawl toward the edge of the bed.
Hagrid reached out with one arm and pulled him back into his lap. “Your master?”
Severus nodded and tipped his head back for a kiss. “I do not foresee a problem but I will fire call if the hour grows too late.”
Hagrid nodded and gave him a deep kiss before releasing him. Severus slid from the bed and shivered from the cold wood floor. He hurriedly summoned his wand and cast about for his clothing. The candles from their anniversary dinner, still lit, sat dripping wax on the over-sized table. Severus’ clothing sat in a pile beneath it. He impatiently flicked his wrist and soon stood fully dressed next to the bed. He cast his naked lover one last appreciative look before stalking from the cabin.
Walking toward the front gates of Hogwarts, Severus went over his notes in his head. If all his earlier calculations were correct, as he knew them to be, his lord was within days of finding the artifact he sought. The stern man’s lips curved in a rare smile at the thought. The moment he stepped through the gates, he apparated to the dark lord’s throne room.
“Severus. How nice of you to join us.” Lucius smirked. “I hope we didn’t interrupt anything.” He raised a pale eyebrow in question.
Severus raised his own eyebrow in answer. Before he was able to address the blonde’s teasing question, Lord Voldemort swept into the room. His dark cloak flared out behind him dramatically as he strode through the small crowd his inner circle made in the center of the room. He stopped directly in front of the Lucius.
“Speak.”
Lucius bowed his head in respect before he launched into his report. “The Octivis Journal, the only existing record of Morgana, is said to contain every spell she stole from Merlin as well as the hundreds she herself wrote.” He glanced at Severus and smirked. “Using Severus’ locator potion and my contacts, I was able to locate it. If the spell you seek exists, it will be in Morgana’s journal.”
Voldemort nodded. “We will retrieve it now. You,” he nodded to Lucius, “will lead and the rest of you will follow immediately. I want a tight perimeter. No mistakes.” His eyes flashed a brighter crimson.
“Yes, My lord,” the death eaters answered as one.
Lucius disappeared with a quiet pop follow by Lord Voldemort and the rest of the death eaters.

Severus blinked several times to accustom himself to the dim light. The thick scent of pine and the snap of branches underfoot made it obvious they were in a forest. Suddenly, a bright light flared to life momentarily blinding him. Voldemort pointed his wand at sky and turned to Lucius expectantly. The blonde turned on his heel and began blasting his way through the thick undergrowth. Severus made an annoyed sound in the back of his throat and strode after him.
“Was it your intention to set fire to the journal before the dark lord gets his hands on it?” Severus hissed in Lucius’ ear.
The blonde paused long enough to shoot back, “As the journal is buried a few feet down, that would be quite a feat.”
Severus gave him a terse nod and they continued on in silence broken only by the snap of branches and crunch of leaves.
After several hundred yards, Lucius came to an abrupt stop. He aimed his wand at the ground and smirked when blue sparks came from the end. “My lord! This is the spot.”

Severus gently flipped the pages of the ancient tome. After the dark lord read the book from beginning to end, he had ordered the potions master to make a potion called Avearan Leitin. Severus finally spotted the potion. He narrowed his eyes to read the spidery script.
Avearan Leitin: Love between many
To be used with the Avearan Binding Ritual. Binds two people who are already bound to one or more people. Invokes feelings of tenderness, affection, and devotion in everyone involved. Most often used for bondings of four or more persons.
Short-term side effect: The most submissive bond mate is unable to act in a way contrary to the truth. Insures Dominants are aware of submissive’s willingness to bond. Pain or unwillingness by any of the participants makes the ritual null and void.
Severus frowned. “How is this going to help with Potter?”
“He and I are already bound through his scar.”
Severus slowly turned to see the dark lord standing in the doorway to the lab. “Of course, My lord.” He gave Voldemort a half bow before turning back to the journal. After a few moments of silence, he heard a rustle of cloth.
“How long will it take to finish the potion?” Voldemort asked from directly beside him.
Severus paused in his reading. He frowned at the yellowed page in thought. “Six months, My lord. Perhaps, seven.”
Voldemort simply nodded and left the room.
