Harry Potter: A Girl Worth Saving
Chapter 1: A Long Night at the Weasleys.

*Some HBP spoilers* There are going be references from the movies as well as books. The sex won't be for a while. But you can guess as to what is going to happen.

It was the winter of before his seventh and final year at Hogwarts. As Harry Potter was waiting for Ron, Harrys' annoying Uncle Vernon stepped in front of his bedroom door. Harry sighed heavily.

'What do you want?' Harry asked.

'You got mail. You know you're lucky that your Aunt and I are allowing you go to your freaky friends' house this weekend.' Vernon said. 'Otherwise you would be staying here in your room all Christmas.'

'Good. Cause I can't wait to get the hell out of here!' Harry snapped.

Vernon growled and slammed the door. Harry sighed and opened the envelope. It read:

"Dear Mr. Potter,
You have been informed about an unexpected event.
This year, due to the upcoming Quidditch tournament,
The Yule Ball will be held early this year. Textbooks and
classes are the same.

Also, as a personal message, I would like you to address
the students at the Yule Ball about Dumbledore. I know
this will be hard for you. But I will call your name when I
address the students and faculty."

Professor McGonagall.

As Harry finished reading the letter, Ron pulled up to his window.

'Hiya, Harry.' Ron said.

'Hey.' replied Harry.

Harry put his trunk in the car and grabbed Hedwig, who was in her cage. Normally Harry enjoyed leaving Dursleys, this time his felt a little nauseous.

'What's wrong, Harry? Ron asked.

'Nothing.' Harry said quickly.

'You sure?'

"Jesus, yes!' Harry shouted. 'Sorry, its' just that with Dumbledore gone, I don't know what to say to the students at the Yule Ball this year.

'I know. Ginny will help as well as 'Mione and I.'

Hours later, Ron and Harry arrived at the Weasleys' house. Together, they walked into the house and laid down Harry's trunk. Harry let Hedwig out of her cage to go hunt for her dinner.

'Mom, we're here.' Ron said.

'Ginny, Hermione, I'll be back.' Mrs. Weasley walked out of the kitchen. There she saw Harry looking tired.

'Oh Harry, dear, what's the matter? You look exhausted. Why don't you upstairs to the second guest room and take a rest. I'll have Ginny bring your dinner up later. We'll get your bags for you, dear.'

'Okay. Thank you.' Harry said.

As Harry went up the stairs, Ginny walked out of the kitchen drying her soapy hands with a rag.

'Hi Ron. Where's Harry, Mum?' Ginny asked.

'Upstairs, but I don't think you should bother him right now. He needs rest. He looks awful.'

Hermione finished up the remaining dishes and walked out of the kitchen to meet Ron in the living room. She kissed him briefly. As she released Ron, Hermione and Ginny noticed Ron's facial expression.

'What's wrong, Ron.' Hermione asked.

'It's Harry. He's really upset about something that is on this letter.' Ron said.

'Tell me.'

Ron lead Hermione, Ginny and his mother into the living room and told them what Harry had said about the letter he received from McGonagall.
He gave the girls each a Kleenex. Saddened by the news, Ginny left to check on Harry and take him some dinner.

'I'm going to check on Harry, Mum.' Ginny said.

'Ok, dear.' Mrs. Weasley said.

Harry sat by the window alone looking at his memory book. As he looked at the pages, he found one of Dumbledore with his parents and began to tear up. Moments later, Ginny knocks on the door.

'Come in.'

Ginny walked into the room with Harry's dinner. Harry wiped his eyes and sniffled.

'Hi, Harry.' Ginny said.

'Hi, Ginny.' Harry said softly.

'How are you feeling?'

Harry didn't answer. Harry turned and looked out the bedroom window, with tears streaming down his face. Ginny sat down the tray and sat next to Harry. Ginny looks at Harry's memory book. She notices Harry's hand on a certain person.

'Your mother?'

Harry nodded. 'I miss her, Ginny.' Harry closed the book and hugged it. Ginny grabbed Harry's shoulder and helped him to the bed.

'Harry, Ron told me and Hermione about the letter McGonagall sent you.'

'He did?'

'Yes.'

'I just don't know what I'm going say at the Ball, Gin.'

Ginny sat next to Harry. She turned his head to her and kissed him.

'I hope that helps cheer you up.'

'It did a little.'

Ginny decided to change the subject. She knew that if Harry's mind was on Dumbledores' death; he would be up all night. 'You hungry?'

'No.' Harry decided to lie down on the bed.

'Ginny?' Harry asked.

'Yes?' Ginny said.

'Will you stay with me, until I fall asleep?'

'Of course sweetheart, that's something you don't have to ask.' Ginny said calmly.

Ginny wrapped her arms around Harry, comforting him. Moments later Harry fell asleep in Ginny's arms. Ginny started to fall asleep as her mother walked in on them.

'How is he?' Mrs. Weasley asked quietly.

'He'll be fine. Just don't bring up Dumbledore while he's here. Dumbledore was like a grandfather to Harry.'

'Okay. Come on it's time for bed.'

Mrs. Weasley grabbed the tray full of food. Ginny covered Harry up with the bed sheets and comforter. She took off his glasses and kissed his cheek.

'Good night, my love.' Ginny whispered to him.

Ginny and Mrs. Weasley both left the room. Throughout the night, Ginny worried about Harry. She decided to check on him. Harry was tossing and turning uncontrollably. Seconds later, Harry woke up and saw a figure wearing a silk pink cotton teddy. Ginny walked into the room. Harry was breathing heavily. Ginny closed the door and climbed into bed with her boyfriend.

‘Ginny-‘ Harry said.

‘Shh,’ Ginny said calmly. She stroked his cheek while feeling his forehead. ‘Harry, your burning up. Take off your shirt, you’ll feel better.’ Harry did as she suggested. 'What about you? Won't you be getting hot with that on?' Harry asked curiously. 'Harry Potter are you flirting with me? Ginny asked. Harry smiled and nodded. 'Do you want to do the honors?' Harry felt a little nervous. He seen Ginny wearing clothes like this before. But nothing like this. Harry helped her remove short nightgown. Ginny laid down next to Harry and wrapped her arm around his shoulder. Harry felt her small, but decent sized breasts against his side. Ginny sensed he was getting slightly aroused. She kissed his cheek then his neck. 'I hope you this makes you feel better,' Ginny seductively said. Harry felt a little protected but it wasn't enough. Suddenly, he grabbed Ginny's body. Ginny gasped, 'What are you doing?' Harry didn't answer. He moved her body laying it directly on top of him. Then he gently placed the bed comforter around Ginny like an invisible shield and wrapped her in his arms. Together, they slept into the morning, caressing each other.

The next morning, Harry awoke feeling very hungry. As he walked out of his room, he noticed Ginny's bedroom door was halfway open. He saw Ginny disrobing her short see thru pink bathrobe. Harry smiled when he remember buying for her 16th birthday. Just seeing the beautiful, thin naked body of Ginny made Harry get a small bulge in his pants. Then, Ginny pulled a long shiny object from her closet, blinding Harry. Ginny though she heard a small gasp from the doorway, she turned, covering herself and saw Harry walk by. She walked up to the doorway and watched him go down the stairs. She knew Harry was watching her; she closed her door and smiled.

While in the Weasley dining room, Harry saw Ron reading his copy of the Daily Prophet and drinking his coffee. Then the Weasley twins, Fred and George, sitting next across from Ron.

'Hey, Harry.' The twins said in unison.

'Fred, George, what are you doing in here?' Harry asked.

'Honestly, Harry you should know them by now, they wouldn't miss our mother's special breakfast' Ron said.

'Smells good. What are we having?' Harry asked.

Hermione walked into the dining room with two hot pans.

'Buttermilk Pancakes, eggs, bacon and several toppings of your choice.'

Hermione sat the eggs down by Harry.

'You okay?' Hermione asked quietly.

'I'm fine. I just needed rest, I'll have to thank Ginny for that.' Harry said.

The twins and Ron smeared at each other.

'You guys, that's not funny. Harry has been in hell since - well you who died recently - Ginny was up there half the night, comforting him.' Hermione yelled.

As she left to room, Hermione slugged Ron's arm, almost making him spill his coffee.

The twins laughed. Harry did also. Minutes later, Arthur Weasley walked into the smell of his wife's cooking.

'Morning, Weasleys!' Morning Harry and Hermione.'

'Morning, Mr. Weasley.' Hermione answered back.

'Morning, Arthur. How the morning raids go?' Harry said.

'Excellent Harry.' Arthur said.

Just as Arthur sat down, Ginny yelled from the top stairs for her mother.

'Mummy, can you help with my dress?'

'Yes, dear.'

Mrs. Weasley sat down the pancakes and addressed the table.

'Everyone dig in while I go help Ginny with her dress.'

'What's with this dress, Ron?' Harry asked out of curiousity.

Ron shrugged his shoulders. Hermione overheard Harry as she sat next to Ron.

'Harry the dress Ginny bought is for the Yule Ball. She bought it when I was with her at a muggle mall.'

Now very curious, Harry asked. 'What's it look like?'

'That's a surprise, Harry.'

'Oh. Well, I don't have anything to wear for the Ball.'

Arthur heard him and instantly reacted.

'Not to worry Harry, I have just the thing for you. Here you go I wore this back when Ron's mother and I were dating.' Arthur got up and walked to a nearby closet.

Ron rolled his eyes just thinking what it is. Arthur pulled out his black tux from when he went with Molly. Ron was surprised at how clean it was. Minutes later, Ginny and Mrs. Weasley came down for breakfast. Ginny kissed Harry on his cheek and sat next to him.

'Dad! Why do you have your tux out?'

'I was showing Harry. He said forget his at home.' Arthur winked at Harry.

'Did you, Harry?'

'Yes, Ginny. Your dad was telling about what they wore when they were our age.'

'Oh. Right.' Ginny said.

After breakfast, everyone got around to the fireplace. Instead transporting to Diagon Alley as usual, Harry told the Weasleys about what McGonagall and Dumbledore taught him with the floo powder. 'Here, I've got a new way to get to Hogwarts.'

'How Harry? We can't there unless we leave by train.' Ginny said.

'Harry, you give a demo, then?' Ron asked.

'Ok, Ron take your powder.'

Ron stepped into the fireplace.

'Now, think of the place you want to go in Hogwarts.'

'Gryffindor Common Room.'

Ron vanished in the green fire.

'Wow, Harry.' Ginny said.

'All right everyone. Do exactly has Harry has instructed.' Arthur said.

Moments later, everyone arrived at their locations at Hogwarts.
