Chapter 1: Trouble always bubbling
\"The wizarding community mourns the lost of Albus Dumbledore, ex-headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He who must not be named\'s followers, the Death Eaters, had infiltrated themselves in the school, two days ago, with the help of Draco Malfoy, the youngest ever Death Eater, who is the son of Lucius Malfoy. Lucius Malfoy is currently being held in Azkaban. The Death Eater who killed Albus Dumbledor was none other than Severus Snape, his Defense Against the dark arts teacher. Harry Potter, the boy who lived......\"
\"I knew the Daily Prophet would pull your name in there somewhere!\" exclaimed Ron. \"I don\'t want to hear anything else, they always like to talk loads of rubbish about me, especially when they start on going about \"The Boy who lived\"..\" retorted Harry. Hermione, who had been reading the paper to the boys, had continued reading the article after Ron\'s outburst, frowned and tossed the paper aside. The boys looked over to her questioningly. \"I don\'t know about you guys, but I can\'t wait to go after the remaining Hocruxes, because I think Voldermort has destroyed enough lives as it is.\" \"Hermione, I don\'t think we should talk about this on the train, someone might overhear us.\" Harry whispered to her.
After Professor Dumbledore\'s funeral, all the students had gone to the great hall for a last meal, then they had all boarded the train to go back home. Since the school year had ended sooner than imagined, Harry was going over to the Burrow, until the Dursley\'s would come to King\'s Cross to get him. The Dursley\'s didn\'t know yet, but they would be bringing home two extra Wizards with them, Ron and Hermione. Hermione was going home for a week, than coming back to the Burrow for Fleur and Bill\'s wedding. Bill was now doing great, thankfully, the only side effect from the Werewolf bite was a taste for rare steak, and the urge to \"mark\" his territory...

When they arrived at King\'s Cross station on platform 9 3/4, there was a large commotion. Students were pushing there way thru the crowed to get to there parents, who were slightly hysterical. Harry, Ron and Hermione pushed there way thru the people to see what was going on. On the ground, a man and a woman were laying face down. Harry asked a nearby witch what was going on. \"A Death Eater tortured these two Muggles with the Crutio curse, they were here to pick up there daughter.\" At the words of the witch, Hermione ran forward. She turned the two people on their backs to see there faces, it was her Mum and Dad.
Sobbing, she turned around to Harry who had followed her and grabbed on to him. Harry absent-mindedly patted her on the back, while rage was coursing thru his veins. Voldermort was getting braver and braver, now sending his followers to attack people that are close to Harry. A Mediwitch from St-Mungo\'s apparated beside Mr. and Mrs. Granger, and disapparated with them just as quick. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley arrived on the seen right after, ushering Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny who was already with her parents, to a ministry car. Hermione had changed shoulder to cry on once in the car, Ron\'s. He was hugging her tightly and trying to calm her down. Everyone else in the car was quiet.
Once at the Burrow, Hermione brought Harry and Ron with her to St-Mungo\'s using side-along apparition, since the boys hadn\'t gotten their license yet. \"Hermione, are you alright?\" asked Harry, concerned since she hadn\'t said a word in quite a while. \"Harry, I know why you \'re always trying to distance yourself, you\'re always frightened something will happen to us... I know I can\'t get away from my parents, they are my parents, they won\'t go away. But Harry, understand this, I won\'t go away from your life. I am there for you, just as I will always be there for you too, Ron. And now, after this disgusting act, I want to be there to defeat Voldermort, and want a hand in this, for all of the innocent people he killed or hurt. I want to see him dead.\"
Harry and Ron looked at each other, the only other time that Hermione talked with this much dedication was when she talked about exams, they didn\'t know how to answer to that. The only thing they could do, was each throw an arm around her shoulder, and kiss her on the cheek. \" Don\'t worry Hermione, we\'ll be there for you too, just like I\'ll always be there for Harry too, right mate?\" said Ron, with his silly goofy smile. \"Right.\" responded Harry, giving her a charming smile.
As they walked into the ward where Hermione\'s parents were resting, a Mediwitch was coming out. \"Excuse me,\" Hermione asked, \"they\'re my parents, how are they?\" she asked in a nervous voice. The Mediwitch reminded them of a kind old Grandmother, and in her kind voice she responded, \"I\'m sorry dear, but they are in a coma, they are in no danger, but the Crucio was quite bad, they should be as good as new within a few months. All they need is a calm environment.\" Hermione looked at her with said eyes, \"Thank you,\" she walked up to her parents bed, and whispered to them.
Harry and Ron waited at the room door, all they understood from what Hermione said was that she loved them and would destroy the one who did this to them. This took both boys by surprise since she wasn\'t usually violent, unless you place Draco Malfoy in the equation... After Hermione kissed and said good bye to her parents, they walked out of St-Mungo\'s, Hermione holding both boys hand.
