It might be interesting if Hermione snapped. I imagine Draco thinks he'll have the upper hand, that she'll simply be afraid of him. But then...what if Hermione's trauma causes her to finally lose it and becomes a monster of her own? She already doesn't recognize herself. What if her nerves have more to do with the fact that she knows she's just as fucked-up as Draco and that she's afraid of what she might do when they're alone together again?

Looking forward to more no matter what direction you choose to take it though. Your stories are always so intense. Keep going!

I find myself hating Lucius and McGonagall so much in this that it hurts.
They are the one's responsible for the two broken souls self-destructing under their noses.
Hermione's assault is McGonagall's fault. Draco's behavior is Lucius's.
