Are there any positive benefits to having cat DNA? More body flexibility? (Would make for interesting sex scenes!) Better jumping ability? Better reflexes? Better night vision? An increased tendency to cruelty, seeing as felines are the only animals that play with their prey in the sense of *needlessly* terrorizing them before moving in for the kill?

What would happen if Hermione met Millicent's cat? Can McGonagall give any useful advice? What's Hermione's Animagus form? What's her Patronus? Surely not a stupid otter - she surely doesn't still suffer from her delusion of seeing potter as her protector any more?

I'd like to read a fic where Snape really takes Draco apart and leaves him a wretched bleeding Frank-and-Alice-level-insane quivering mass on the floor.

Ok, so I only managed to read Chapter One and Two, not that it's overwhelmingly bad I have to say, just not my cup of tea. It's an interesting idea and I'm glad you're running with it. Only one main thing in Chapter One is in your authors note, you mention Hermione is fifth year and later with Luna, you say the two fourth years became fast friends. I can only say 'ew' to Snape going for a fourth or fifth year Hermione (not my cup of tea again) and maybe just to fix the inconsistancy between stating she's a fifth year and then saying she's a fourth year in the story.
