Wow, that was a pretty realistic vision of past events that Hermione had experienced. It is no wonder that she was beginning to wonder about her sanity.

Boy I wish I'd had that power in the library in school!

Well, the whole idea about having one or several aditional power(s) and Hermione coming into this inheritance is probably not completely original, but I like the idea anyway. The chapters are written in a very nice and believable way and it's a joy to read them.

I suppose Severus asked Lucius for help because he himself does have some kind of unusual magical talent? He was not very reluctant to help, I'd have expected he'd be more appalled at the idea to help a lowly Mudblood...

By the way, what is Severus' inheritance? Did I miss what it was or haven't you told us yet?
