Ok, I admit I've been quietly lurking. But after your review trouble, I wanted to say a few things. The real strength of this story is its originality. Have your nasty reviewers thought up anything half as innovative? I doubt it. Just keep that in mind.

I enjoyed Hermione's vengeance on Lucius. It was ironic and appropriate, considering it was the rumor mill that destroyed Hermione's reputation. She knows very well how damaging gossip can be.

That said, I hope Lucius can recover from it, and that Hermione can give him a chance. I'd love to investigate some of Hermione's feelings about the time she spent with 'Max' as Juliet - was she effected the same way Lucius was? Or was it all business for her?

Don't let cantankerous reviews bring you down. I always say the power to evoke a reaction out of someone (whether positive or negative) means that what you wrote had an impact, and that's better than them reading it and having no reaction at all. Looking forward to how you tie it together. :)

And again, two nice chapters!! I wanted to address the note you wrote in front of chapter 17. I think some readers of this expected nothing but smut. They thought the title would lend to that. So when a plot developed, and it's a very nice plot at that, they were like . . ."okay, as long as there's smut in the plot, whatever." When that didn't happen, it made them not like the story. So what did they do? They wrote a flame to you. Because that makes sense.

Writers write because they have a story to tell, whether they are making their own characters, borrowing someone's characters, or repeating a story, they have something they want to communicate with an audience. I think your story is amazing. I have always been a fan of yours and anyone who has a problem with this story obviously doesn't realize two things: 1) Just because this is an 'adult' fanfic site, that doesn't just mean smut. 'Adult' can mean many things and 2) The author has a reason for doing what they are doing. No one liked it when Sirius died, but JKR had to do that to advance the story, right?

I love this story. It's nice to read an adult flavored fiction were it isn't just smut smut smut. I love it. Keep writing the good write!!

I haven't read this chapter yet but I was scanning your comments and was sorry to see you felt the need to defend yourself. Hey, in my book you're "practically perfect in every way" as you can put more than two words together and write a story to begin with. And for your title, it hooked me and I'm a happy little fish. Stories are like life in some ways in that there are parts you love and parts you hate. But, readers, unlike life if you really hate a story, you can stop reading. Utopia, Save your fire and passion for your writing. Lap up the good comments as your due, scan the critiques for anything constructive and ignore the rest. Readers be heavy with your praise and state any corrections humbly and don't tell the writer how to tell the story. I've been trying to write my own story and have a new appreciation of how hard it is and how brave the writer is to put it out for others to read. Utopia, again, thank you for an interesting story.

I hope you're feeling better after that upsetting review. Please don't stop writing :)

I don't understand people sometimes, if you don't like it, then why would you bother to take the time to review?

Oh well... stay positive!

Just read some of the other reviews. Doctor Who reference... where?

I think people did start reading your story because of the title. But in your defense, you did put author's notes before a few of the chapters stating that the story wasn't PWP. So I don't understand why people are getting into such a tizzy, no smut isn't the end of the world.

And I think the "30 deatheaters" is really quite reasonable when you think about it and Lucius' behaviour as well. Oh well you can't please everyone.

Truth be told, I wasn't hooked by the title, it had more to do with you being the author. I prefer how the story has developed now and how it's going because there is a plot! I really hoped that it wasn't going to be PWP and was rewarded handsomely. So don't let a few people get you down :)

Go Draco! Did I understand right, that he was among those 30 Death Eaters, who raped Hermione? I like how you write him, as somebody who has come to terms with his past and managed to be his own person. I wonder, whether he could help Hermione to get some peace as well... Another very painful process to go through.

Thank you for the good wishes for our move. I gave notice on our apartment today. I am shaking. It

I love the octopus in Old MacDonald.... I am the oldest of 6 kids and I use to say animals like that all the time. My favorite one to tell them was a worm.... I have completely enjoyed your story. It makes me laugh and keeps me on the edge of my seat I can't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the Great work!!!
