Hey - you've reviewed both of my fics, so I felt I owed it to you to check out your work. I like this story. I was never particularly happy with the epilogue - it was so... boring! Canon Ron/Hermione was never something that bothered me during their school years, but I never saw them as being right for one another as life partners. I think you've explored some of the potential workings of that relationship beautifully. Your author's note at the end suggests that perhaps it's not just Hermione suffering? I'm sorry if this hits close to home for you.

I've been there, not for that time span but I've definitely been in one of those relationships. That was very moving.

What shippers /couples did you write for roswell? i was a huge maria and michael fan. I also love UC. but I loved lots of shippers. was not a fan of liz thoughh lol.

I think oftentimes what we write about is based upon our own experiences and those of the people that surround us in our daily lives. It's our way of coping and dealing with them. However fiction also presents a world for us to forget the realities of life and simply live through someone else that is able to overcome what we weren't. Your fic was extremely heartfelt and well written, one of the better oneshots that I've read. Don't let life get you down, bitch-slap it in the face and make your own ups!!!

I heard a beautiful country song yesterday, the chorus of which seems very fitting and I'd like to quote it here...

This is far from fiction. Reminds me of the life my parents lead. It almost made me cry... it's really sad!
