hey,
i am back ;)
cutting myslef some slack from studying i finished this story today.
reading three different stories from the same author in a short succession is very interesting, because you find similarities and differences.
just from reading this i guess this is one of your ealier works? it is not meant as an insult, i just think, that some parts appear kind of rushed in the description if i compare it to "beyond the veil" for example.
i liked your idea and writing very much, though i would have enjoyed a more socially active Livvy... i cant imagine someone like her to adapt this drastically to being a living dead in a big empty house. and her imagine her talents might have been great assets in business.
i loved the scene at the gala, where she met dumbledore and mcgonagall, i really wanted a visit to hogwarts to happen. some father-son bonding would have been my personal perfect happy ending...
wow, i managed to sound totally negative! Not intended.
the second wife was a really nice story, and olivia quite the interesting character, but after reading beyond the veil and... prisoners of love (hope i remembered the title correctly) i guess you set yourself some high standards for comparison ;)
thank you for sharing

uh, usually i am too lost in the story to review (i know i am a bad person)
but as i have to go now anyways, i thouht i up your review statistics by saying: i so love the beginning and i am sure i am going to have a new favourite fanfiction!
an empath... was there something specific that sparked the idea? sometimes i get nervous with many people around me or just with people who are emotionally charged. it makes me cranky and want to run. do you know this kind of feeling yourself?
good night,

Very good! Lucius is not painting a picture that gives him ANY redeeming qualities, is he? I think if I were her, I would run for the hills (no matter how good in bed he is). Typical that he would only see himself "in hell" for five years when she is forced to lose that part of her life also unless she dumps him, which I bet he never considered, being a Malfoy and all. Very interesting. p

I don't get the problem here. If she had been using it against him for her own benefit, I might better understand him feeling betrayed, but she did not do that and she "saved" him while he was in prison. Of course I don't understand her guilty feelings. If anything, you would think that she would have to be home schooled to prevent her from emotional overload on a daily basis, not because she is doing anything to someone else. Lucius needs to remember the whole "people who live in glass houses" as he is way worse than anything she could have done with her gift. p
