Well I am sorry you have such awful reviews, I thought this was a fine oneshot. Sad, not the way we wish to see it end, but descriptive and touching never the less. No, it's not flattering for our heros to be killed as they were but that was about the most unique interpretation of the final battle I have read. I lover your explanation of the vow and whatnot. The song was appropriate and I believe they maintained dignaty by standing to fight instead of fleeing. Well done, perhaps if you add "darkfic" to the summary it will help.

I think this story would have been MUCH better had the main characters been allowed to maintain at least a shred of dignity -- for example, swallowing poison together. Getting killed by giants is silly beyond words and turns this almost into a comedy.
