A boy. This way they can give him the love they never got. If it's a girl, that's O.K. too, in a way it would be easier. They would be starting from scratch. But emotionally, a boy would make them face their own pasts. Snape's family should go to hell. But I hope his siblings will be nice to him. They deserve some peace, especially with what is going on with Harry's family. About time someone hit the Potters' over the head with what they did. Sure, they had to mourn the loss of their first born, but the tragedy was it was not necessary - he was alive.

Yay, you wrote more :) Sirius still needs to get a shot at decking James. No preference on the baby, but heres a couple of names that can be for a boy or a girl : Sevilen- Turkish for Loved, Bennett- Latin for Little Blessed One, Kaelin- Celtic/Gaelic for Rejoicer, Keeran- Celtic/Gaelic for Little Dark One, Merritt- Latin for Deserving Good Fortune. As for Sev's siblings they should be a little stand-offish until the one meets Sev at Hogwarts and starts to warm up to him and Harry, then they should make the effort to get to know what his life has been like and just who his family is now.

I think they should be nice. I've always found perants don't see past your mistake even though you do somthing to make it better like with Severus being a spy for the light.

I think the baby should be a BOY and that sev's family will accept him.since harry don't get along with his parents severus should at least get along with his family.

Considering that the other Potter children seem to be a tad... uncaring towards their older sibling I think that Snape's should like him. You don't want to have the whole blood family against them! As for the sex of the child - a boy, definately a boy!!! Marcus maybe???

Hi, I just love this story so far. As for the vote, I vote for a boy and for his name I have two that I just can't decide between, either Chris or Dale. Let Snape get along with his brother and his sisters he could have taken the mark to protect them if they were at school with him and were in danger from the others (future Death eaters). Keep up the good work.
