It\'s an interesting take on an old plot line. I do love Veela Draco, so I could definitely get behind it. I liked the end of the chapter- that Draco knew exactly what was going on and stated so quite bluntly- that\'s our boy!
It does feel a tiny bit rushed- the presentation of the material, but I certainly understand the problems presented in starting off a D/Hr fic. Obviously something has to give (w/regards to JKR\'s plot- Death Eaters, Voldie and such) in order for them to even be a feasible pairing, which is always the trick. I think the way that you handled it is valid though, I just like lots of time to enjoy the unfolding of the setting for our favorite couple :)
