Family Secrets
Disclaimer: I think we all know I don't own it.
He had never in all the years of living with a death eater had never experianced anything like this. It had started as a slow burn in his stomach, now it had spread everywhere. In all honesty Draco should have been downstairs with the rest of the DA. Not twelve hours before the golden trio (with a little help from him) had defeated the Dark Lord.
At the end of his sixth year Draco had fled the safety of the castle after having partook in the worst murder in wizarding history. Or so everyone was led to believe. Draco was kept at 12 Grimwald Place that summer along with Harry Potter and the headmaster. Though the events that unfolded were no doubt dramatic, everyone survived that first night.
Harry Potter met his destiny July 31, during the summer before his seventh year. Draco's home for the past month was now the place to be. He didn't feel like celebrating. He cryed out in pain.
"Draco what's wrong?" Snape happened to be walking by, lucky for Darco.
"I think I need the Headmaster. Please I don't know what's happening to me." After a moment the Headmaster did indeed appear.
"Severus I believe Draco may have found his mate."
"What on Earth do you mean my mate? What are you talking about?" through gritted teeth he mumbled.
"Draco close your eyes and tell me what you see."
"I'm in the portrait room, with the tapestry."
"Severus if you will please retrieve the woman in question. Draco did you ever wonder why you mother never left your father? Even after all the things he put her through?" Draco shook his head. "Your mother was a Veela and your father was her mate. She couldn't leave him. And even though now they are together elsewhere they are none the less together. She died to protect him, and he died of a broken heart."
Snape returned with a rather fulsh looking Hermione. "I think we should leave these two alone, don't you Headmaster?"
"Yes Severus I believe we should. How are you feeling now Draco?"
Much to Draco amazement since the moment she walked into the room his mind and body were at complete at peace. "Fine sir. Really well actually."
With that they left. "Draco you couldn't possibly picked a worst time to need to speak with me. I was.. well I was in the middle of something."
"I know exactly what your were in the middle of Hermione you were about to be deflowered by Harry."
"How the Hell would you know what I was doing, and even if you did how do you know if it would be my first time??"
"Because it's fated," Draco said simply.
"What's fated?"
"That I be the only one who ever touches you intimately."
