That kid has dealt with some serious shit. What a crap life. I feel terrible that Hermione is being sucked into Laura\'s delusional world. When is reluctant hero Snape going to appear? Keep going with this, please. Thanks for the new chappie. I personally cannot figure out which of her abusers is the papa, but am betting on her loving brother. Looking forward to chapter 4.

This is a very good story. I am looking forward to seeing what Hermione does. Maybe she should read a bit more of the diary before just going off on them. I\'m not saying she shouldn\'t just go off on them. I think that several people need to go off on those to men. Ergh. They make me sick. I was wondering, could you possibly email me directly or post it WIKTT when you update? I would like to know when you do so I can come read it as fast as I can.

A quick follow-up: Perhaps, given the immature reactions of the girl as written in the diary entries, this incident will prompt Hogwarts to have a mandatory sex-ed class (paying special attention to contraceptive charms and/or potions). Hmmm... maybe that would work better as classes, a girls\' class and a boys\' class. This would enable those shy about asking questions in front of the opposite sex to ask freely. Also alternating teachers (a male and a female) in both classes would be a good thing so the students could, by turn, ask a member of thier own sex and find out what the \"other side\" thinks/feels about a given topic. Sorry, I am babbling now. Great start to a story:)

As someone with a very suspicious mind, a checkered past, and a working knowledge of how older men can warp a teenage girl\'s mind, it has been obvious to me that the father of the \"bathroom baby\" was Gully since about the second diary entry mentioning him. Then there\'s the inappropriate touching (fondling her tits) while insulting her (weight comments)... I\'ve known men like that. First they tear down what little self-esteem a girl has and then take advantage of that weakened state later with a turnaround in outward behaviour. Sorry, this tale has lots of my \"buttons\" in it. Good progression thusfar, however. As to how immature the girl is/was about sex... I have NEVER understood parents of female children who do not at least give the child \"The Talk\" upon the girl\'s reaching of menarche. Sorry, another of my \"issues\". I eagerly await the next installment. By the way, is the girl really as vapid as the diary entries make her seem? Or is she, because it is intended for her eyes only, just being \"simple\" to vent quickly in privacy? Sorry (again) for the quasi-rant:)

Well, I like the idea of Hermione seeing her relationship from a different view. I read the diary entries and they make her seem much younger than 16. Perhaps it is supposed to be casual entries, or her abused/neglected mind has been stunted, but my ten year old son writes like that, so I have a hard time picturing her as 16. (well, he doesn\'t talk about breasts ;D ) Still.. you have an interesting angle, I\'d like to see what you do with it.
