I hadn\'t realized there were other chapters when I left my first review for chapter 1. Normally I read everything that\'s there and leave a combined review. I\'m still not sure I buy Hermione\'s doubts about her and Snape\'s relationship. I would be surprised if she didn\'t have a few doubts now and then, but I can\'t see them steming from reading the diary of a young, very immature girl who was, unfortunately, taken advantage of by a predatory teacher. Without knowing the background of her and Snape\'s relationship it\'s hard to see the parallels between her and Laura. Hermione is a smart, mature young woman, Laura is a young girl without a lot of maturity or intelligence, if her diary is anything to go by. Presumably Hermione entered into her relationship fully aware of what she was getting into, Laura barely understood sex, nevermind relationships. Hermione and Snape are keeping their relationship quiet, but a few of their friends know, that\'s a far cry from keeping it a deep dark secret. I can\'t help but think the parallels of the story would make more sense if Hermione were still a student in Hogwarts in a forbidden relationship with Snape. Then her fears and second guessing about her and Snape\'s relationship would fit the story better.

Now we\'re getting to it! Hermione\'s reaction is really plausible. I hope she can figure out a way to distinguish herself from the sick, abused diary girl, though. So sad!! I hope she hexes all appendages from the DADA teacher, too. Ewww!

Please, please, please have SOMEone at LEAST beat the living shit out of Gully. I must admit that with that brother of hers I was surprised that she was virgo intacta when Gully got to her.

This is a lot like I Know What You Do In The Dungeons http://adultfan.nexcess.net/aff/story.php?no=17848. Is that where you got the idea?

Oh gods! NOW you have me wondering if the father isn\'t in on the abuse of this poor stunted child as well. The neglect is obvious, given that she\'d no records of routine checkups and that the father took her out of St. Mungo\'s even though the medi-wizard was reluctant to let her leave. Given that his son was abusing the girl, the mother has been in St. Mungo\'s since the girl was 3, and his aparent neglectfullness of her... *sighs and shakes her head* At this point it would not surprise me if the father weren\'t abusing one or both of the children (perhaps where the brother, Davy, got the idea?). Sorry, I guess I\'ve seen too many episodes of Judging Amy. By the way, the squib comment by the brother was just an unfounded insult, right? If the girl actually were a squib, she wouldn\'t be going to Hogwarts.

You\'re trying to suggest that Hermione is in anunequal relationship with Severus by contrasting it with the relationship betweem Gully and the student. However, the analogy won\'t hold up because Hermione is Severus\' apprentice and not his student which moves the relationship from teh abusive one between student and teacher to the merely unwise one between employer and employee.
