Actuallyou\'re being flamed because while we have all read stories with a cheating Ss or a cheating HG, I can\'t think of any where Severus actaully screwed the women right in the same bed he shared with HG. And it\'s not one slip where he\'s sorry, but many times and he\'s enjoying the sex with these women. And HG stays with him despite it all, And since you seem to have her 6th year she\'s all of what 16> 17?

Did I mention you have Severus cheating in his own bed that\'s shared with HG?

This is beyond co-dependency and weak willed women.

This is a disgustingly corrupt bastard and a woman who\'s letting herself be treated like a piece of slime.

Neither SS or HG are remotely like their characters in the books.

The saddest thing is that you just don\'t seem to get it. You\'re having SS doing it in the same bed that HG sleeps in. Gods did he even change the seats.

This story is actually disgusting and people are picking up on that. All I can say is that I hope you stay out of the SS.HG world. And yeah-it does seem like you hate the characters,

People are upset because this story deals with a real issue, and this really happens...

And if you\'re reading the reviews before reading the fiction, you\'ve been forewarned about this fiction. Let alone the warning inside. You can say you don\'t like it till the cows come home. And you can say that they\'re so out of character and they would never do this... but this story will remain posted here. I won\'t be taking it down.

Its good and its truthful and more mature authors and readers have emailed me and said so... and I agree with them...

So again don\'t like it... I suggest getting a more original reason than they\'re out of character and this would never happen...

Anytime an author has to come on like three times to explain or defend a story-something is wrong.

You mention stories where SS cheats, HG finds out and he kills himself, but I don\'t recall reading any of those. Not to mention I doubt if in those stories he was bring whores into his own room that he shares with HG.

The characters are completely OCC buy you said that yourself.

Don\'t worry, there are lots of people who feel sorry when a story is flamed and will come and leave good reviews, Not to mention I\'m sure the HG/DM or HG/RW fans will love this story and leave good reviews.

This is your story and you do what you want as you should, if it was my story instead of getting angry and rebutting, I would take a step back and see if perhaps the reviewers have a point at least in some way.

I won\'t be removing your review but I will respond. I do not hate Hermione Granger and Severus Snape being together. In fact they\'re my favorite Harry Potter Genre pairing. This fiction in reality was an experiment [Its my second HG/SS Fiction People] that though some people get most don\'t and have reacted badly to. I however am proud of the way it turned out but this wasn\'t meant to promote HG/SS hate.

I ask that you don\'t use this fiction of an example of that because then I would be forced to remove it from AFF.net and only leave it up at other locations.

I\'ve read each and every review... and I see that they\'re upset that I\'ve placed their beloved characters in this situation. But this happens in real life why not in fanfiction? Severus isn\'t ALWAYS the dashing hero, and just because you\'ve never read those fictions doesn\'t mean they don\'t exsist.

And don\'t belittle the few people that have identified with my story because its actually happened to them and they\'ve been Hermione at one point in their lives... but because they know how it truly feels and that I\'ve written exactly what they were going through at the time, they respect the story. I respect other people\'s opinions, however...

I do NOT feel that because they don\'t like the story it gives them the right to say that I should never write again or that these characters would never do this. And that because SO many people disagree with this story that it there must be something wrong with it. How many hits has this fiction recieved and yet how many reviews have actually been left?

If these people have e-mailed you and said the story was good, why don\'t these people review?

And making SS a shit, and Hermione a weak idiot doesn\'t make it more mature than other stories. In fact the opposite. It seems as though you\'re making them as OCC as possible, putting them in unrealistic situations, and than patting yourself on the back because it\'s mature and people don\'t get it.

And who asked you to take the story down? You repeat that in all of your posts, and you sound like a defient child, determined to \"keep your story posted\" And by the way I\'m sure you think that by your \"I\'m doing what I want and leaving the story posted\" you think you\'re being mature and bold. Actually, it just seems silly. No one mentioned taking it down, it just appears from your star rating and reviews that people just don\'t like the story. Has that even occured to you?

And by the way, ypu have a lot of hits but take a look at your star rating. I think most people jsut thought the story wasn\'t worth reviewing. But you only kave like three stores which means lots of people gave this only 1 or 2 stars. This noard is generous the way the star ratings work, Most stories have five stars, this has three.

People just don\'t like this story. Why belittle the people that don\'t?

Oh wonderful. Now we\'re all going to be lambasted again for liking HG/SS together, thanks to this fic.

Damnit Tigerlily what were you thinking writing this fic like this. I know you say you don\'t hate the HG/SS relationship and I happen to like your other stories but, this story definately shows SS/HG in the most negative light I\'ve ever seen.

I know you say it happens in real life and it does, but in fanfic I\'ve never seen SS this abusive and HG this pitiful when they\'re already in a relationship. That\'s the key. They\'re there already.

Do you realize you have SS screwing other women in HG\'s and his bed and HG stands there and watches? Hell a human would go for blood, and HG is a witch. No stupify? No other hex to stop him? She actually lets him get his rocks off with another woman in her bed? And it\'s happened many times? What the hell!

HG thinks Ss loves her. Bullshit. He thinks of her as his piece of meat, That\'s it. Otherwise he\'d never be as cruel as this where she always finds him cheating. But right, he\'s going to kill another man for touching her (you want realism-in real life he\'d kill her too). He\'s a sick fuck. He\'ll keep her with him and faithful by killing anyone she touches, and by trying to kill himself if she leaves.

And HG will be dead or in a crazy house by the time she\'s 20, if she\'s with him in this story.

There is no HG/SS story I can think of that was so disrespecting to the characters and so OCC. I\'m really sad you felt the need to write this.

Well at least the HG/SS haters will have a story they enjoy. Oh goody.

Emails are private and person and if you\'ve read a few of the previous reviews NOT all of them are bad. And we conversed more in emails. Not that its any of your business. I\'ve also recieved a few emails from those that didn\'t review here saying I should take the story down. And again attacking my character saying that just because YOU think you see me as putting these two characters in more realistic situations and patting myself on the back for it... well again thats your opinion but it has nothing to do with the story. You\'re talking about me.

And how would you feel if you spent time working on a story and was really proud with the outcome and yet when you posted you get such a backlash from it. I mean I understand other people\'s points of view but I was really proud of the way this story turned out. I was honestly surprised at the reaction it has gotten so far. So telling me that I\'m sounding like a defiant child... well I think I\'m just being human... I\'m a person who is just defending the work that they\'re proud of.

While appaled at your relationship and making hermione so weak and pathetic. I ask are you goiing to follow it up with anything!
