The normalizing day-to-day steps of her existence are fascinating, and the relationship she\'s built with Draco is quite touching. Duelling vomiting sessions -- a whole new bonding experience! I, too, have a soft spot for Draco. Honestly you\'re crafting this beautifully. The elusiveness of Ron is very intriguing, and I like Hermione\'s talking to Snape even though he appears to be vacant. The entire mother hen routine suits her character perfectly. You\'re fleshing out the plot well, and I\'m eager for your next steps.

Chapter 4--Morning After

I am so happy that you updated. But, you left it on such an evil cliffee... *pouts* I ly lly like this story. You descriptions and words make me feel the pain of the characters. What happened to Snape is just unbearable. Hermione and Draco, too. I am going to have to re-read all again, I think, as I don\'t believe you ever identified the identity of the spy. [was it Ron...?] Just where is darling Ronny-kins, anyway? Hmmmn... Twisted, cruel little tale you\'ve started here (Mwaaa-haaa-haa) and I am glad that you are continuing. I like how Hermione talks to Severus as if he were complete!!! I am wondering if he will be able to remember this when he is whole again?!? Speaking of which..... what a way to end this chapter!!! I am so glad Har Harry has good news!!! I can\'t wait to find out what they are going to have to go through to get it back & then restore Severus to the man he should be!!! Til chapter 5, Deb >^..^<

Ok, can wait for healthy Snape. Pleaaaaaaaaaassse say that bitch Pansy is dead or worse! Sorry, not usually so malicious, but she cut out Hermione\'s eye!!!!!! Love the drunken truth telling. Thanks for a great chapter.

This is a superbly grim and gripping tale you\'re weaving. Each protagonist as wounded as the other. Hermione and Snape being equally self-sacrificing gives them some very interesting common ground (in a bit of gallows humor, I can see them comparing scars with Hermione\'s eye-popping stunt being a topper). Draco makes for a convincing rebel to his cause -- it\'s easy to see that nothing short of the sell out would really turn him from his predestined path. But once turned, he becomes a formiddable and staunch ally. You\'ve structured this story beautifully. It has several things in common with the other challenge responses (naturally) however, the anger and grim determination inherent in the protagonists in this particular story are compelling. You can see that with Hermione\'s newly/painfully acquired arcane knowledge, she really is the only person who would be able to save Snape. Overall, this is a very nicely constructed dynamic.

Chapter 3... \'Gone in 60 Seconds\', I LOVE that movie & now that you say it, I can see how the War Room came from that, GREAT IDEA!!!

This is ONE HELL of a GREAT chapter!!! The conversation between Hermione & Draco is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My heart hurts for both of them!!! The things that happened to Hermione (Please tell me that P.O.S. Pansy is DEAD!!!) & what Lucius was willing to allow to happen to Draco, so very sad, yet they both grew from it all!!! I really do like how these 2 are getting along here, kindred spirits that have so much in common!!! Sad that they have even more in common than 2 young people should, at least on the bad side of things!!!

I am looking forward to learning more about these people & seeing them working together!!! I am still hoping that Albus will be found soon & that Severus will be able to be given his life back!!! Til chapter 4, Deb >^..^<
